This is a check in for those of us who are experiencing pregnancy after a loss (miscarriage, chemical pregnancy, stillbirth, child loss, to name a few). Hopefully we can all lend support to each other through the hormone filled craziness that is pregnancy!

1. How far along are you? Any milestones? 14 weeks today!

2. How are you feeling (pregnancy symptoms)? Pretty good. A little more energy, but also a little more nausea.

3. How are you feeling (anxiety wise)? Decent. We announced on facebook/insta today and everyone is very excited and supportive. I have not been shy about sharing our long journey, so I knew they would be, and it felt weird waiting so long to announce. I'm glad the secret is out, though of course I'm dreading the idea of having to tell them sad news again, but hopefully we won't have to this time!

4. When is your next appointment? Tomorrow morning - should be drawing for the NIPT finally!

5. Rants/raves/whatever (Dear diary posts and venting are welcome and encouraged here) Nothing much to add

6. GTKY: What hobby would you get into if time and money weren't an issue? I'd love to get back into dance. I grew up dancing and when I was 21ish school got in the way and I had also met DH, so I wanted to spend time with him too. I kick myself all the time for quitting though, it's the only form of exercise I've ever enjoyed. When we moved to SoCal I wanted to get back into it, but we were poor and then we bought a house so we were even poorer, and then pregnancy and pregnancy and baby and now toddler...I do love his current dance studio where he takes ballet, and after this baby comes, I fully intend on joining the adult classes. Since it's a family friendly studio she told me I can bring baby(ies) if need be, so that's perfect haha

@elsieisamoocow I am hoping they draw for NIPT tomorrow too.

1. How far along are you? Any milestones? 11w 5 days

2. How are you feeling (pregnancy symptoms)? I feel pretty good.

3. How are you feeling (anxiety wise)? Still freaking a little bit.

4. When is your next appointment? Tomorrow morning. Hoping to hear heartbeat! I should also be getting script for NT scan too.

5. Rants/raves/whatever (Dear diary posts and venting are welcome and encouraged here) I feel like I am showing way too much way to early. I definitely can't hide being pregnant.

6. GTKY: What hobby would you get into if time and money weren't an issue? I would focus on graphic design since that is what my degree is in. I don't work in the field but I would love to do more freelancing.

10w6d past two milestones so far.. next one will be 19w

fatigue and sore boobs ...

anxiety comes and goes - today i'm having a, "not feeling very pregnant" day which always makes me more anxious....

02/19 - feels so far away

my sister in law is also pregnant and announced it, she is due 7 weeks before me. My FIL did not take it very well because she is in a brand new relationship, and lets face it, it's his daughter.... so she has been ranting to my husband about how everyone will be happy for us when we announce but not her. sigh.

6. GTKY: What hobby would you get into if time and money weren't an issue?

oh gosh, if money weren't an issue my hobby would be traveling!

@Brezzy1928 I majored in graphic design too! Where'd you go to school? All I've done with it since graduation is designed invitations, mostly for friends' kiddos. I wasn't super passionate about it in school though, so I'm not horribly sad lol

1. How far along are you? Any milestones?

13 weeks & some change. Past both my losses.

2. How are you feeling (pregnancy symptoms)?

Belly in full effect. Shamelessly skipping over the belly bands completely and rocked out my maternity jeans hardddddd today. Still not entirely convinced it’s not just my gut of taco dip or a giant crap (I’m so constipated), though I look damnnnnn pregnant. I kind of love it. I’m scared to love it. Gahhhhh!

3. How are you feeling (anxiety wise)?

Touch and go. Every twinge has me waiting for the other shoe to drop. But I also know I had round ligament pain around this time with my DD. Trying to take a deep breath and convince myself that’s what’s up.

4. When is your next appointment?

2/24. 16 week appt + AFP lab.

I was pressured into sharing the news with DD last week. Still makes me nervous because I don’t want to jinx this. Husband is hopelessly optimistic—he just doesn’t get that the fear is always with me.

6. GTKY: What hobby would you get into if time and money weren't an issue?

I’d have ridiculous out-of-season flowers shipped to me from all over the world. I’d make crazy gorgeous arrangements for every room in my house and petite bouquets to brighten the days of everyone whose path I happened to cross.

@elsieisamoocow I just have an associates degree from Bradford School. I kinda enrolled on a whim. lol. I do a ton of invitations for friends and family too! I also do things for my work. I would love to get really into it and actually make money off of it.

@Brezzy1928 Oh cool! I went to SVA (School of Visual Arts) in NYC. I'm still surprised I got in there lol.

I realized I'm just too old school for it. I don't like web design or motion graphics, and my letterpress class was for sure the highlight of my classes. Now I just want to have my own letterpress studio one day and make invitations, greeting cards, posters, etc that way.
