5 weeks only gestational sac

I went to Dr today and though I thought I was 6 week and 3 days. They only saw a gestational sac and put me at 5 weeks and 2 days. They drew blood to check HCG  levels and told me to come back in 2 weeks. I am super nervous bc the doc said it could be too early or that I might have a blighted pcjm. Anyone else had this experience and had a healthy pregnancy?

    They moved my due date back an entire week with my first. The ultrasound tech was surprised they could see anything because with the date move it was really, really early.

    But my situation has no bearing on yours. It'll work out, or it won't. I hope it does!

    I'm in a similar situation. I thought I was 6 weeks at my first ultrasound. When they looked they saw a 4 week 3 day yolk sak. I'm almost to the end of my 2 weeks wait - I go back Monday. I know that limbo is no fun to be in but try to relax as much as you can. Hopefully the HCG levels will give you some comfort. I know the doctor was not worried at all at my ultrasound - she said it's all so early and everything is just so small that it takes time. Hope that helps some!

    I went for an ultrasound today at about 5w3d and had only a gestational sac--I was told this is normal at this stage, and we should see something when I go back next week.

    I was 6 weeks 1 day at my first ultrasound and they saw nothing.  No gestational sac, no yolk sac.  Doctor said the in-office machine isn't very sensitive and sent me to a specialist.  I went at 7w and saw a baby with a 152 heartrate measuring exactly 7w.  It really could be the machine sensitivity.  I was exact on my dates and they should have at least seen a sac in office, but I guess the machines can be that picky.

    At my 5 week scan only a yolk and gestational sac could be seen. I thought I was further along but I wasn't positive on my LMP

    I just went through this.   On 1/17 I went to ER due to bleeding they only saw a ges sac and measured me at 5w4d and I knew that was not possible.   My HCG were not quite doubling but close and my OB pretty much doomed my pregnancy.   I was a wreck.  She scheduled another US for 1/29 and apt to talk to my doctor about "options".  I was told to surround myself with close friends and family during this tough time.  I went in on 1/29 and after 2 sec the tech turned the screen and said there's your peanut!  Babys heart was beating away.  117bpm and measured at 6w1d.  Stay positive and what I have learned is trust your body.
