1) How far along are you? How big is baby? 36 weeks today! Baby boy is over 6lbs according to the last ultrasound he had.
2) How are you feeling? Achy hips, contractions, pelvic pressure, and a bladder that gives up far too quickly....
3) Any appointments this week? Yay for weekly OB appointments starting Monday.
4) Rants/Raves/Questions? I'm ready yet not ready to have this kid. I want to see him but enjoy him in my belly. I know it's a weird place to be, but that's the thoughts I've had these last couple of days.
5) GTKY:What was a popular movie the year you were born? This is appropriate seeing how I couldn't watch this until I was a teenager

2) How are you feeling?
Still ok. Allergies keep me stuffy overnight and I wake up like 8 times to pee in the middle of the night. Although I did get one night of completely uninterrupted sleep this past week and it was glorious. Broken record alert - lower back pain sucks.
3) Any appointments this week?
MW appt on Wednesday.
4) Rants/Raves/Questions?
I've just been kinda unmotivated lately. We have maternity pics next weekend and I don't really know what I'm wearing and have no props whatsoever. The following weekend I have my shower and I still need to get FIVE hostess gifts. We have the crib in the nursery but that is pretty much it. BIL's baby momma supposedly has a ton of clothes for us from my nephew but she has yet to bring anything over so I can do laundry. Luckily I'm due at the end of March, but I still need to get my butt in gear. But even now it's 5:15 am and I'm gonna go catch up on Grey's Anatomy!!

Feeling pretty good. Just the usual - hip/pelvic pain, some heartburn, occasional back pain, difficulty sleeping...

Yes, MW on wednesday.

cford08 I am also ready-not-ready. I guess DH needs more info/coaching on labor and delivery, but I feel like I'm as prepared as I can be. Well, so the nursery is half done and I can't find any info on where to get the car seat installation checked (everyone agrees it's important; no one knows where to do it around here...) But even if baby were born early I think we'd be ok. I just wish LO would settle in heads down!

1977 - an important year y'all! Saturday Night Fever and the first ever Star Wars (Episode IV)! Also, Pete's Dragon... Wow, the IMDB list is pretty amazing.
and yes, I'm a 41 year old first time mama. yipes!

Ovia says they are the size of ferrets, which is what it feels like right now, lol! It's also pretty accurate with their most recent weight estimates on the 25th, lol.

Big and achy. My back isn't a fan of the weight shift. Also completely not ready, lol. I'm still trying to get DH to focus enough to get his computer out of the computer room which will be the nursery so I can start setting stuff up.
3) Any appointments this week?
I have an OB appointment on Wednesday and a MFM appointment for a growth scan on Thursday.
4) Rants/Raves/Questions?
I still haven't felt any BH at all, am I the only one? I feel like I should have felt something by now....

1) How far along are you? How big is baby?
36 weeks! Baby is the size of a papaya, or according to Ovia, a chihuahua. haha. We had an ultrasound Friday and she was measuring 6 lbs 11 oz.
2) How are you feeling?
Pretty much the same, it seems like. Achy hips, so tired but I can't sleep, my belly button is starting to get sore... but on the bright side, nesting seems to be setting in, so I've gotten a bunch of purging and organizing done.
3) Any appointments this week?
I'm at weekly appointments now, so I had my 36 week checkup (ughhh group B strep swab) with a growth scan on Friday and I'll have my 37 week checkup this coming Friday.
4) Rants/Raves/Questions?
I'm also on the ready but not ready train with everyone else. I am SO DONE being pregnant but man, newborns are tough. lol. This is our last one so I'm trying to enjoy every minute... but I'm ready to have my body back and to meet this sweet girl.
5) GTKY:What was a popular movie the year you were born?
1987 had some awesome movies come out, apparently. The Princess Bride, Full Metal Jacket, Dirty Dancing and Planes, Trains and Automobiles. Some of my favorites.@fatstagnation I would maybe call your local police or fire department and ask them if they have any certified techs. The PD that I dispatch for has a few officers that are certified, and the fire dept has a few too. Even if they don't have any, they should be able to refer you to somewhere that does.
I have not felt and BH. And yes, ferret is totally what it feel like!
@ashleyf911 I am just sorta disgruntled that the hospital said it was so important and then didn't know where to get it done. WTF? They said the state police, but they're pretty far. I'll call local PD, I'm sure they know.

34 weeks yesterday - butternut squash. (Haven't these babies been like every variety of squash by now?)
2) How are you feeling?
Still pretty good overall. I definitely have more aches and pains, especially when I'm up and moving around all day, but it's not unbearable... yet.

We actually were pretty productive this weekend, which was definitely needed and has helped with some of my anxiety about not feeling ready. We now have all the furniture set up in the nursery, so I can FINALLY get to organizing! I also made a double batch of lasagna last night - one for this week and one to freeze. Slowly but surely trying to get a small stockpile built up in the freezer since we don't have family around to help.

I just looked through a list of 30, and my favorites are The Little Mermaid and When Harry Met Sally.
@cford08 I don't think the ready-not-ready feeling is weird at all. I think that's super normal!
@amylonghorn it's so annoying when people tell you they're going to give you something, and then it's crickets from them about it.
@fatstagnation that's so weird that your hospital couldn't tell you where to get your seat checked! I second calling the local PD to see if they can help.
@amanning2011 I haven't felt any BH either. Hopefully your growth scan later this week goes well!
@ashleyf911 my belly button is getting sore too. Has yours popped out? Mine is pretty much flat right now, but I'm wondering if it's about to pop or something.
