First Week of Sept EDD Feb. Check-In

If you're due between Sept 1st and 7th, this is the check-in for you!

How far along are you? How big is baby?

How are things going? How are you feeling?

Upcoming appointments?

What are some small things that make your day better?

What's something you like to do the old-fashioned way?

10 weeks. As big as strawberry.

I'm feeling ok today. Yesterday was my first day of morning sickness and was prepared with Dramamine and ginger soda.

No upcoming appointments. Next one is the 23rd.

Iced coffee, dramamine, ginger soda and my dog make my days better.

I love sending letters in the mail. I'm not a huge fan of sending emails.

How far along are you? How big is baby?
9 weeks, 5 days—about to go from cherry to strawberry!

How are things going? How are you feeling?
I’ve had some better days recently where I can actually eat meals, but most days are still the same persistent nausea. I’m also SO tired all the time; on the weekends, if my son is napping, I’m napping too!

    Upcoming appointments?
Tomorrow! Some blood tests and, after a phone call with insurance today, possibly the NIPT!

What are some small things that make your day better?
Cuddles and kisses from my son, string cheese, when my head hits a pillow (literally, any pillow. Anywhere.)

What's something you like to do the old-fashioned way?
I send LONG handwritten thank you notes for everything, and I still enjoy a good phone call over text. I’m all for texting when things need to be brief, but I’d prefer a whole catch-up session over the phone. I don’t live in the same state where I grew up so I have a lot of those with my childhood friends and family members...

How are things going? How are you feeling?
Still nauseous, not as exhausted, and the constipation sucks.

    Upcoming appointments?
    Feb 19th.

What are some small things that make your day better?
    Snuggles with my girls. Pepsi.

What's something you like to do the old-fashioned way?
I balance my checkbook with pen and paper still.

10+2 baby is the size of a truffel
How are things going? How are you feeling?
Still super nauseous. I've been taking the dicelgis, so at least I'm only throwing up 1-2x a day now. I went through this last time with DD and it lasted all 9 months, so I'm hoping that it won't this time.
    Upcoming appointments
I just had one today that was really frustrating. I am still waiting for the office to schedule my MFM appointment which should be done in in the next few weeks when I have my first trimester screening.
What are some small things that make your day better?
DD is starting to say more words, so I love when she says please now. I think it's so cute.
What's something you like to do the old fashioned way?
I still carry a paper calendar in my purse. I've tried using my phone and just can't get there.

How are things going? How are you feeling? Tired which will hopefully start leaving soon, and I keep waking up a few times a nighy for no reasons

Upcoming appointments? Not until end of the month

What are some small things that make your day better? Ds likes to put all our shoes in his little car and its really funny

What's something you like to do the old-fashioned way? @JLyn821 i don't know if it'd be considered the old fashioned way, but I still like writing Thank you notes. I feel like alot of people don't do them anymore, and idk why.

     9w5d Tater tot.

How are things going? How are you feeling?
I seem to have a little more energy and a little less nausea. I'm dealing with bronchitis + stress incontinence so I've been wearing giant poise pads and diapers for weeks which is rather depressing.

    Upcoming appointments?
Not until 12 weeks. I wish there next appointment was before Valentine's Day because then I'd feel comfortable going ahead with a cute themed announcement.

What are some small things that make your day better?
When DD is being sweet or saying a new please or just watching her play independently. Also, carbs.

What's something you like to do the old-fashioned way?
Hmm I prefer to write by hand when I'm brainstorming, like making lists or writing the first draft of a paper or something. The thoughts just don't flow as well through a keyboard.

Upcoming appointments? 1st appointment with OB on 2/20

What are some small things that make your day better? My dh. When he is not being bratty, he is so sweet and funny!

9w3d according to my first dating ultrasound, but maybe a couple days further due to LMP date

How are things going? How are you feeling?
Exhaustion maybe a little less? Nausea still there with a vengeance, and even less appetite. Finally actually threw up the other day...wasn't even nauseous at the time, just smelled something and gagged.

    Upcoming appointments?
Not until next Thursday 2/15...meeting with the NP, probably the doppler heart rate and planning all the tests I'll need.

What are some small things that make your day better?
My toddler is very affectionate lately! And napping.

What's something you like to do the old-fashioned way?
I like a good old fashioned post-it note, and have been known to stick them to my iPhone LOL.

10 weeks today. Baby is the size of a strawberry. I'm using the Bump app for this what other apps are you ladies using for weekly pregnancy/baby updates?

How are things going? How are you feeling?
Things are going well. I stop my progesterone suppositories today which makes me nervous and a little relieved all at once. They were not fun. I'm feeling better. Having a lot of twinges/pulling/sciatic nerve pain the past week. My nausea has eased a lot but still having aversions.

    Upcoming appointments?
Not until next Monday. First appointment with the OB. (I've had two prior ultrasound appointments with our RE)

What are some small things that make your day better?
My dog and talking over my day with my SO. He seems to usually make my day brighter.

What's something you like to do the old-fashioned way?
I agree with the from scratch baking/cooking but I also love to handwrite love letters to my SO. May sound cheesy, but I've done it since the start of our relationship and he has quite the little stack of them stored away.

i just got the call call from the MFM. They scheduled the appointment for this coming Monday 2/12. I’m eager for that appointment to get s lot of questions answered, have another ultrasound and hopefully ease my mind some.

@xxkberxx Oh my goodness! Twins! That is so exciting, though I’m sure it was quite a shock. I hope the next appointment makes things feel a little calmer. Best of luck!

@CSchoFink thank you! To be completely honest when we first found out I cried and they weren’t necessarily happy tears.... i think I was more overwhelmed and scared. The thought never entered my mind of having more than one so it really was a shock. I’m getting more excited as the days go by now that I’ve had time to take in the information.

How are things going? How are you feeling? I am really tired and threw up for the first time yesterday which was no fun, but other than that mostly ok.

Upcoming appointments? Glucose test #1 this weekend (yuck!) and NT scan on 2/15. OB appt the week after.

What are some small things that make your day better? DD’s physical therapy appt. went really well yesterday and she is getting so good at walking! She smiles a lot which make DH and I so happy.

    10+4, prune

How are things going? How are you feeling?
Nauseous and exhausted. I have a lot of crap going on and I don’t think I’m going to like my new job as much as I thought I was so I’m looking for something else, again.

    Upcoming appointments?
Just had one Monday, I don’t have another until March 5th

What are some small things that make your day better?
Not much. The kids are living with their dad’s mom so I don’t even get to see them except for 2 hours on Friday.

What's something you like to do the old-fashioned way?
Hmmm. Idk. I’m a millennial through and through I guess.
