Facebook group??

so many topics and discussions it’s hard to keeep up, but has there been any discussion of a secret Facebook group for us Sept18 Bumpies? I’m still in my group from Nov12 and love those ladies. We found it much easier to communicate and keep up via Facebook since the bump app isn’t always mobile friendly. Just curious.

I honestly don’t remember when we started Nov12–but I love those ladies and we have been through a lot, funny considering so many of us have not met in person.

seriously entirely way too early ....ive read on other BMBS, even my prior April18 one that they only JUST recently made a group and had huge threads about why it had been too early prior to now.

I agree. Too early. My last BMB we didn't do a FB group until the month prior.. maybe even the month of.. either way, it's just too early.

It might be a little early but I will definitely join a FB group when the time comes...i hate how the bump is not mobile friendly and I hardly ever use a computer.

Yea, I'm going to backup the way to early. My A15 BMB didn't do Facebook until after we'd all given birth. And even the there were plenty of crazies to weed out....

I had originally started looking at the What To Expect app forums, and everyone on there is sharing email addresses and joining fb groups on like, day one! Definitely creeped me out. I look forward to getting to know you all eventually and would love to make friendships, but like, not yet lol

Way too early. My other 2 BMB's migrated to FB eventually, but more like right before babies were born. Let's get to know each other here first, and make sure you're not trying to steal our skin (or babies) before we move to something so personal.

Lol @nsquaredlife13 we were just looking at that in the F17 BMB FB group yesterday too! "Please send your SS#, your mother's maiden name, and the make/model of your first car."

If you’re super eager to join a Facebook group for S18 parents-to-be, they already exist. None of us are so close already that it would be hard to get to know a new group at this super early stage. You can even be there and here, it’s not like you’d have to leave. (OP this isn’t directed at just you specifically but anyone who is already interested in a FB group.)

IME, people stop coming here as much once there’s a FB group, too. Beyond the fact that I don’t want to share that much personal info, I don’t want this group to die already. It’s a lot easier to navigate as the type of group it is as a forum like this. FB is good for chatting and sharing pics but not great for sharing info that you might want to come back to or have ongoing threads for.

This has already been discussed but there is a small contingent here (myself included) that will never join Fb. I would be so sad if everyone up and left so soon. Also, stranger danger.

My vote is to start a private group here in TB, wayyy down the road, where members can pick and chose what they want to share.

If only TB was as user and mobile device friendly, then i would be significantly more active. i have already had to reset my password twice today and it says that the July 2017 birth month is my club...not sure why and it won't let me undo it!

Darn it, I wish TB worked better for you @niki1128 ! This is a great community to be in...I wish I would have found it earlier in my first pregnancy.

I would be very interested in joining a Facebook group when everyone becomes more comfortable.
I don't love the new bump format where it's encouraged to only post in certain threads.
Very limiting and it gets overwhelming.

My N13 and N16 BMB are pretty much non-existent now because of new Bump TOU and a big mess it caused at the time. So this BMB is really all I have on TB.

It may be too early now. We still need to figure put who the crazies are and we still have some ladies who will experience losses in the weeks to come (sad, but true, it could even be me, heaven forbid). Maybe as we get closer to September. I'll definitely join!

I’m still in my D11 group and I’ve actually met quite a few of those women. Also a part of my May16 group and met a couple of those women as well. My May group kind of started a FB group way too early and I am now an admin of the group, but there was so much drama at the beginning. I vote for a group toward the end of our pregnancies.
