  • My husband is being indecisive and is dragging in figuring out how he wants us to do the big reveal at the gender reveal party. His ideas are always so elaborate and I know it'll be me that gets stuck putting it all together. So I just ordered confetti cannons today and hope that will be enough and we can start planning other things.

  • I have not worn deodorant in years. Haven't needed it, you can ask DH or anyone I workout with. But this last week I had to steal DH's until I could get to the store. I suspect it's part of the delights of pregnancy for me.
  • @KellyFM522 I had a friend and her husband legit go on a Chipotle diet where they just ate Chipotle burritos once a day and that was their only meal, lol. They probably still drank. I don't remember how long it lasted, but I am SURE they did not lose weight. So what I am saying is, there is NEVER to many days in a row.

    Now I want Chipotle.
  • @TalesOfASocialIntrovert I do see it more like women in a room having a convo and people coming up and saying, "hey my names_____. whatcha talking about? Oh I have an opinion!" I think your only option as a newb jumping in on threads is to just comment where relevant, otherwise it would be hard to get involved. I am assuming you mean the new names popping up in actual threads, not any one off posts?
  • @TalesOfASocialIntrovert im with you. I have do double take on the name to see if i recognize it.
  • @SmashJam Yeah, the regular threads. I don't love the one-off posts but at least those can be entertaining! :D
  • @lindsayleigh1989 now I want Arby’s curly fries. Delicious. Wondering if I can convince DH to pick up some on his way home from work. Hmmmm

  • @wildtot and @moguippy *raises hand* um, I don't know when the last time I shaved my legs was.  :#  I've been wearing tights all winter so I haven't bothered!
  • Sorry ladies I don’t have a good one...

Mine is I’m looking forward to This is Us after the Super Bowl way more than the actual Super Bowl. We have a family party here every year and I make food and host, but in my mind I’m planning a This us party.
  • @TalesOfASocialIntrovert I really really need to learn not to drink anything while reading these things. Such a funny image!

I guess I'm somewhere in the middle on that issue.  I guess it bugs me when people don't contribute except for a drive by and ask a question about something that has been discussed 18 million times, in the same thread. To me, if someone has lurked for a while and is just now jumping in, and is easing into contributing I don't mind. I just noticed there were some new intros within the last week or two that I had completely missed. There just needs to be a balance, it can't all be about just posting the latest bump pic or US, otherwise then it is totally like walking into a room and lifting up your shirt.
  • @TalesOfASocialIntrovert you know I am right there with you!

  • @4deep yess!!! Sunday is now commercial, halftime, and This Is Us day...i don’t care about the game.
  • +1 for this is us, although I see lots of crying coming...also, I don't care about football nor the Superbowl:)
  • This is major flame worthy but eh, whatevs. I don't recognize a bunch of new posters that seem to have just jumped into posts like they're regs. I do read the intro thread but either I've missed a shit ton of intros or newbs just aren't doing them. And it bugs me. I always envision a group of women in a room having nice conversation and then someone new runs in and shouts "Can anyone tell me if I'm having a boy or girl?" or *walks in a lifts shirt* "I'm 14 weeks today!".

Edited to add that it's probably more of an UO but I don't really care today.
Lots of people will drop off, especially after the babies are born. I bonded with July 13 once we were all up in the MOTN with sleepless babies. We still all talk every day.
