Freaked out. But so so over being pregnant. The closer we get to the due date the more paranoid I am about something being wrong. Just want her out so I can actively take care of her.
What's the biggest thing left on your to-do list? Or are you feeling pretty prepared?
Feel pretty good. Hubby needs to have a discussion with his parents regarding expectations for visiting us once the baby arrives. I’ve already had one with my parents and we’ve come to a good understanding but hubby hasn’t talked to his parents yet, and they aren’t as easy going as my parents.....
What does your next appointment look like? Any special tests or questions/concerns you plan to bring up with your doc?
37 week appt on Tuesday. Talk more about Breech baby and getting an EVC on the 19th

Im just so exhausted. I have no energy to do anything.
GTKY: What was your biggest surprise about pregnancy?
Nothing super surprising really. I guess just the whole random strangers always having comments about your body.

Echoing above- a mix of TOTALLY done with being pregnant and uncomfortable, while also Totally not really ready. I just want to fast forward time but also omg WHAT is coming out of WHERE --SOON?
What's the biggest thing left on your to-do list? Or are you feeling pretty prepared?
Install car seat, finish up some work projects, and beg our contractor to pleeeease hurry with the completion of our new bathroom. Our house looks like Home Depot- literally drywall and a toilet IN the living room, lumber in the dining room, and my bedroom is basically a storage unit. They say they'll be done in 2 weeks. Oh the anxiety.
What does your next appointment look like? Any special tests or questions/concerns you plan to bring up with your doc?
37 week appt Tuesday; they think the baby is head down (I can't tell, I still get random big bumps popping up/ jamming up near my ribs- maybe his bum?) I'm waiting for results from my strep test, otherwise nothing major.

ugh. Rant: I'm so uncomfortable and feel huge Rave: my husband gives me foot rubs all the time and has loads of sympathy for me , which is sweet.
Biggest surprise about pregnancy--
not really that suprising, but I feel like 3rd tri has kicked my butt way more than I expected. Really tired, sore , and generally run down.

Nope. Hopefully it’s a regular uneventful appointment.

I can't believe in just four short weeks we will have a newborn. I feel excited and a little scared haha

We need to bring the car seat for installation to a specialist. We also still have to clean all the baby stuff and pack the hospital bags

Appointment coming up mid-week. Just any questions that pop up between now and then

Rave; I have been randomly getting bursts of energy where I go e.g. through rooms and get rid of anything we don't need and just cleaning and organizing
GTKY: What was your biggest surprise about pregnancy?
How different it is for everyone. This late into the 3rd trimester I feel like I'm also shocked that some of the 1st trimester symptoms are back like waves of extreme fatigue
@wal2017 we also need to have our car seat installed. I hope your new bathroom will be complete before your Lo arrives. All the best finishing up your work projects
@Starynightsky24 I need wash all the baby stuff this week then pack the hospital bag as well. All the best wrapping up everything

This week we can finally say, "Three weeks left!" How are you feeling about that?
I’m pretty darn excited. I especially can’t wait until maternity leave beginning 1/27. Then I can focus on prep and pampering.
What's the biggest thing left on your to-do list? Or are you feeling pretty prepared?
I’m feeling prepared overall. There are still a few things... but babe has a place to sleep, clothes, etc. the important stuff! I suppose the last big thing is meal prep.
What does your next appointment look like? Any special tests or questions/concerns you plan to bring up with your doc?
I believe I’ve done all the major tests, strep B last time. I had a somewhat random ultrasound last week and it was SO cool. It looked like a real baby! Totally cute.

How it goes by both so quickly and slowly. How the body changes are somehow both shocking and subtle all at the same time.
2/7 but RCS on 1/31

I’m feeling pretty prepared. Got the car seat installed this last weekend so that makes me feel better if he comes early. Everything else will just fall into place (I hope - I’m not usually a worrier)

I have anoher US on Thursday to check fluids and size. The boys are going with me so they can finally see baby boy in action. I hope he cooperates this time!

DH is being awesome in taking the boys for an entire day this weekend. I want to run to BRU to get a few final things and get the house set up in peace.

The pregnancy itself. We thought we were done!

Counting down, I'm ticking off every single day that passes

The hospital bag, but we are 15mins away from my hospital, SO can come back for anything anytime.
What does your next appointment look like? Any special tests or questions/concerns you plan to bring up with your doc?
I'll get the strep b result, hopefully i'm negative coz I want to labour at home first, with my first i was positive, so once my water broke I had to rush to the hospital.

My mum will come over to assist me for 2 weeks, this was one of the greatest wishes realized.

I'm happy to be done but super nervous because I was induced with my first and have no idea what to expect!
What's the biggest thing left on your to-do list? Or are you feeling pretty prepared?
Everything still... the crib is set up and clothes are washed but nothing is fully completed.
What does your next appointment look like? Any special tests or questions/concerns you plan to bring up with your doc?
I don't go until next week. Just waiting for strep results and will ask questions if I think of any between now and then.
Rants/Raves?
Rant: DD is 16mo and isn't allowed in NICU even though they are private rooms. I completely understand why but I'm already having mom guilt about choosing who to spend time with while baby and I are both in the hospital.
Rave: I talked to a couple of nurses from the mother baby unit and they said they try to accommodate families as much as possible so I'm hoping to get away with DD staying in the room with me since I'm still nursing her.
GTKY: What was your biggest surprise about pregnancy?
I know everyone carries differently but just to experience the difference is weird. I'm only about 10lbs smaller than when I had DD but my belly is so much lower and I don't think I've dropped yet!
This week we can finally say, "Three weeks left!" How are you feeling about that?
Praying that the baby cooks until 40 weeks for my mom to fly in from another state. We dont know the gender so it will be very exciting to find out what we are having.
What's the biggest thing left on your to-do list? Or are you feeling pretty prepared?
The baby room is painted and we have a few things that we bought but nothing is set up and I'm ok with that. I find it less stressful not setting everything up before the arrival of the baby.
What does your next appointment look like? Any special tests or questions/concerns you plan to bring up with your doc?
I've dialited to 1 cm so will see where I'm at. I've also been dealing with swelling and now congestion.
Rants/Raves? Just dealing with coworkers and the comments or questions they have been asking. It feels like I'm on baby watch. I'm trying not to let it get to me but it's hard. I just want a healthy and happy baby that arrives when they are ready.
GTKY: What was your biggest surprise about pregnancy? Going through the whole pregnancy without finding out the gender and not having to buy maternity clothes.

So ready for my little boy to be born, but at the same time I don't think I'll ever truly feel ready enough! Im so excited to meet him and so tired of waiting! Getting very bored at home alone.
What's the biggest thing left on your to-do list? Or are you feeling pretty prepared?
I feel pretty prepared. Need to install the car seat and learn how to use the baby monitor.
What does your next appointment look like? Any special tests or questions/concerns you plan to bring up with your doc?
I have an appointment with my ob/gyn on Monday morning. I have weekly appointments now. I've been having cramping for about 24 hours now, on and off every few hours. So I'll ask her about that. Slightly worried, but have heard Braxton Hicks can get painful so maybe that's what it is.

So sick of sales assistants touching my stomach and asking a million questions!! Patience is wearing thin.
GTKY: What was your biggest surprise about pregnancy?
I didn't realise how uncomfortable and boring and mentally taxing the last few weeks would be. I am so excited and he could arrive any day now, yet he could be another 4 weeks! I'm naturally an impatient person, this waiting period is trying.

Time is flying!

Finish packing hospital bags and some laundry.

Regular check up on Thursday. Another ultrasound for the 5th to check for growth. He is measuring smaller than usual. No growth = getting induced

Tired of hearing people tell me that he is coming early. I don’t think he is and I want him to come when he is ready.
