My UO: I hate shorts. I only wear them when I'm pregnant (because DD & DS were summer babies and I was miserable.) I think my hatred of shorts is primarily fueled by my hatred of shaving.
ETA: I also have, quite possibly, the pastiest legs around. Not a good look.
Oooh, @kfren but it is like freedom for your legs! My go-to summer outfit is shorts and a chambray button down. I hate pants/anything touching my legs when it is hot out. What do you normally wear in the summer???
ETA: I'm actually looking for maternity shorts right now. I cannot go to Florida in March without shorts.
@LaceyBee522 Up until DD, I wore pants year round. I own zero skirts and two dresses; one I refer to as my funeral dress, the other I bought when pregnant w/DD for a Derby party (and have worn it approximately once.)

@doxiemoxie212 I am weird, I know. I also agree with you on the HDBD thing. I can understand not posting every week, or even just a few times, but nobody participating? Bumps are great! I love seeing others' bumps, especially when you know the journey it took to get them.
@LaceyBee522 I am the opposite. Give me all the flowy skirts and dresses. Outside of leggings I have one pair of jeans and one pair of yoga pants. Everything else is a skirt, dress, or tunic.
@kfren Are you from somewhere that doesn't have warm weather??
@doxiemoxie212 I don't stalk other month boards enough to be annoyed by people not participating. However, I do feel my eyes rolling when I look at brand new boards posting their HDBD....
@Austenista I definitely wear skirts/dresses in the summer. However, I usually don't wear them too often because of my lovely "chub rub." When my thighs start getting chaffed, I have to switch back to shorts.
@kfren I don't own any shorts either! If I'm going to be outside all day I'll wear a skirt or sundress when it's hot, but otherwise it's jeans. Even if it's 100 outside it's usually too chilly inside so I like pants.
Me: 32 | DH: 36
Married June 2005
1/2016 - TTC#1
4/2017 - Initial RE visit, Dx: Severe MFI (Varicocele, 14% motility, 3% progression, but normal count)
7/2017 - Stage 3 endometriosis discovered during laparoscopic removal of ovarian cyst
9/27/2017 - BFP at 10dpo (cycle 22), baby boy due June 9, 2018
@kfren Also on the no-shorts bandwagon a) my legs are like chubby milk bottles and b) totally have had a body image issue my entire life. The only time I wear shorts is if I'm on vacation somewhere hot. Otherwise I rarely find myself out "enjoying" the sunshine.
Uh oh, my UO would probably be the HDBD threads. I track that for myself but I'm not a big sharer of that kind of stuff. I do however like to see how everyone is dressing their bumps!
My Pinterest is full of outfits I like to think I would wear but probably won't lol. All my maternity clothes have been hand me downs from friends with the exception of a couple pair of jeans.
I think people who post super lovey dovey isht on social media (looking at you #blessed) should be REQUIRED to write a long, detailed post about why they’ve broken up once they have. I also think the lovey dovey stuff is gross, but if you’re going to make all your followers invested in your romantic drama then fill us in when it ends!
This is more of a related confession but I ONLY wore skirts and dresses until I was 16 years old (it was a strict religious thing) and even then I was the first female member of my church to wear pants to bible study, and then the first female member to wear pants to service. LOL I'm sort of a rebel. I'm still most comfortable in dresses. Outside of pole I almost never wear shorts (haven't had the thighs for them in probably 8 years) and give me all the leggings and jeggings!
@kfren +1 for not wearing shorts. I'm the crazy that will wear shorts all year, on vacation in the southern Caribbean... All the time. It was always a self conscious thing for me. Until last year! One of my non scale goals while losing weight was to wear a skort while golfing and guess what I made my goal and fricking loved it! Golfed my best round in years without the heaviness of pants and I looked pretty cute too!
I hate wearing shorts because I can never decide if my shorts are too short or too long. Growing up we always had to have knee length shorts and now I feel indecent in anything shorter, but feel frumpy in longer shorts.
I like my legs, always have. It’s the one part of me that makes me feel really confident. My favorite outfit, particularly in the transitional seasons, is shorts and a sweatshirt/long sleeve. Maybe that is my UO today.

I love shorts. So much freedom of movement. When I was pregnant and due in September I wore the same pair of maternity shorts almost every day near the end because I needed to be able to chase after my toddler and maxis wouldn't cut it. I didn't even love the look of the shorts, they were kind of trashy (see image in spoiler of the same pair though mine aren't quite this distressed) But they were super comfortable.
@buffalove1211 whaaaaa??? How else would keep track all the pictures unless you put them in a special album every time? I’m obsessed with my niece #DariElla all the time! My LO’s name is my husband’s name so no hashtagging but I’m sure I’ll come up with something to keep pictures. So far I’ve been using #TeamTre for the third (III).
@LaceyBee522 re chub rub - - (FFFC) I was pregnant with DS in the summer and wore a skirt to work. I made the mistake of walking to the garage (30 minutes) in 90 degree heat. The chub rub / heat rash was so bad that it spread all the way up and my midwife thought I had herpes. I didn't. It was just heat rash. I invested in men's boxer shorts after that to wear under skirts in the summer. Life changing.
For the chub rub crew... I invested in Tom's Brand deodorant stick, with tea tree oil. That on your thighs gives you some sweet glide, and keeps the rash to a minimum! FWIW. I too have larger legs and don;t like shorts for the most part... if they are too short they creep up in an inverted V to my crotchal region. So I was a Maxi skirt, dress, and capri's lady with my Sept babe. I literally had about 7 - 8 outfits that fit by August, and just kept rotating. I wan't buying any more.
TGIF friends. I am so happy it is Friday. Looking forward to half-baked, netflix and chill while DH is out at the Basketball game.

kfren - with you on the pasty legs! a few years ago DH - being ever so stoic- looked at me and asked me what was on my legs...got closer, kept looking, got really close...and he finally said- oh those are just your bones...you're so pale your skin is transparent, hahaha. No offense was taken because I totally agree, wasn't meant as an insult...I'm just pasty and have come to accept it, lol

@kfrenShorts suck. Big booty/hour glass figure just do NOT work. They ride up and nobody wants to see that. I’m all about casual sundresses.
My UO is that I think hashtags of your child's name is ridiculous.
