I guess this can be my UO, I've never actually consumed anything from chick-fil-a. But I get the idea... they do chicken. Also I always say it wrong in my head I get it, it's suppose to be pronounced like chicken fillet, or chick-fill-A (like as in apple), but I always think chick-fill-ah (like as in awful).

Um Chic-fil-A is the best. Are you guys saying that you would rather have chicken nuggets from McDonalds or Burger King? Their chicken strips are so much better.
@meggyme I do boycott them as well though. I was so sad when I found out they were such ass holes. @lurvleybunchococonuts LOL at Chic-fil-AH

@eleven_ - to be fair i don't want any nuggets, its more that they had to reroute traffic to accommodate a new Chik-fil-a opening, and i just don't get it. It's food. I would not wait for 30 minutes for drive thru chicken! I guess i just don't understand love though
and @lurvleybunchococonuts - i used to say chick-fil-ah until i was corrected, and it was so embarrassing.
I don't know what this board is about...can someone tell me pwease? I checked the abbreviation board before I felt like an idiot asking what UO means...
I ate Chick-fil-A last night. I don't love or hate their nuggets, but I always get the club sandwich anyway.
My UO is that I don't understand why people think their birth control should be free. Why is birth control often free or reduced, but more important crap like asthma medication or diabetes meds are regular old copay and deductible/co insu
@holly321 I think birth control should be free. I think the people who need it the most probably don't have jobs to pay for it - girls in high school, or just starting college. Out of pocket it would be - $60 sometimes. I didn't have that kind of money. I also couldn't afford a kid, but I liked boys and sex so I coughed up the money. It costs society a lot less to pay for birth control then it does to support a single mom and her kid over their kid's life time if they are getting assistance.
@galactickates, at the same time, condoms are cheap. High schoolers should be using them for STD prevention. And on a personal note. I have to take BCP right now for my health, vwent to the pharmacy recently. I have a $4000 deductible. BCP was free yet my asthma medication (which is a lot more important) was almost $200. My son's epipens we're $600.
I love Chick Fil A...Their chicken truly is the best in my opinion out of any fast food hands down. I also LOVE their customer service. Now...I do NOT agree with their corporate's beliefs. Not at all. But I guarantee you that not every person who works for that company has those beliefs either. And they still need to work and they have their jobs to support their family. And I will still show them just as much kindness as I would to anyone else on the planet. But in saying that, their Spicy Deluxe Chicken sandwich and their chicken minis for breakfast are the absolute BOMB DIGGITY!
My UO: Rats make excellent pets. They are actually VERY clean. The don't often bite (unlike hamsters which are little devils). They are VERY smart. And easy to handle (especially for children) and are easy take care of. They also have the cutest little snouts. I worked at PetSmart for 6 years in the past many years ago, so it's definitely an opinion I have had to defend so much. Haha.
My UO is that I have absolutely zero interest in that This Is Us show. Or in Game of Thrones, which is weird, considering I usually love fantasy and sci fi.
@eleven_ I think the biggest part of it is because we don't have cable, and HBO won't allow it to be on Netflix. I've seen so much stuff about it online that I now most of the storylines, though.
I love this is us, but I understand not wanting to watch it. TW** i finally caved in and started watching it after my second loss, i took a week off work and was feeling extremely sad so I thought what the heck I'm already sad. eND TW*** so now I love it. Still haven't watched the new episode, i watch it on Hulu so I have to wait till the next day to watch it.
I am a proud Chick-FIL-A lover! But I don’t like that they proclaim their agenda. But I think their food is good and their service is good.
@galactickates I agree. I would rather pay for birth control for someone than my taxes. possible TW*** As a public school teacher in a low income area I unfortunately see how much having irresponsible parents who don’t know how to take care of their children really sets kids up for failure.
@dreamscapes_ I have zero interest in Game of Throwns, but I love this is us.
I guess my UO would be I’ve never taken BC and I probably never will unless I have a serious medical reason.
@dreamscapes_ If you love fantasy, you would seriously enjoy GOT! I go crazy when I hear people say they aren't interested in it...they just don't know!!! Cause I've never met anyone who has watched it that regretted it...they all made it through it! (except my aunt who apparently couldn't get through the first episodes because the white walkers scared the s*** out of her. I was like... "those things are near as scary as some of the shows you watch!!". haha.) If you can find a friend who is willing to share their HBO Go info....you should do it!
And This is Us was started because I was wanting a good "cry" show. And boy does it deliver. My husband hates sappy shows and even HE loves it! But mainly because he loves seeing something so true to parenthood, and loves the father figure in the show.
+1 for loving GoT! Also I know nothing about This Is Us and I'm totally cool with that @dreamscapes_ one GoT "hack" to watching it without HBO is to check your local library to see if they carry previous seasons on dvd or blu-ray! Maybe we just have a good library system in my area but we watched seasons 1 through 6 that way and then did the amazon prime trial to binge watch season 7. Granted you can't warch new episodes as they air but if that doesn't matter to you it works.

@coco2787 I asked my husband about it and he said we’re ‘Netflix people’ *eyeroll emoji*... I wonder if we could find it with our fire stick if we ever get that figured out. I read the book back in high school & really liked it— the previews made the show look really good.
@flyingmombula You have to sign up for Hulu! We just signed up and it has so many great TV shows and movies. It has a better selection than Netflix, IMO. And it has Food Network! I Food Network.
@jengibre_zorro Chick-fil-A is SO overrated! The backed up drive-through causes massive traffic problems in the Target parking lot, and nobody better keep me from my Target.
@lurvleybunchococonuts I am forever going to say chick-fil-Awful in my head now! But that sounds like a Mediterranean knock off restaurant that only sells falafel. It would probably taste better...
@dreamscapes_ I'm with you on GOT. Every episode I've tried to watch (which is like 3) seems to show way too much of the brother and sister love birds. Gag.
My UO - Justin Timberlake, overrated in all categories. Musician. Actor. Heart throb. I just don't get it!
