Had a smoothie this morning from Whole Foods. It was made with cocoa powder, banana, almond milk, maca root, chia seeds and maca powder. Biggest mistake. I should have asked what maca was first. It tasted like rotten fruit with chocolate.
I'm going in for a cheeseburger for lunch from The Habit. mmmmm...
Bagel and coffee for breakfast, honey mustard pretzel bites for second breakfast, salad for lunch, but most importantly tacos for dinner and I’m not cooking
@zombiehoohaa I had a burger from the habit over the weekend and a strawberry shake. It was heavenly! Sorry about the maca! I hate when I get a smoothie and don’t notice one ingredient that throws the whole thing off!
Today I had overnight oats with Greek yogurt, mango and cashew clusters. I’m regretting bringing my husband’s leftovers-Greek chicken kebab— for lunch today bc I really want another tofu poke bowl. I am visiting my parents for dinner so I don’t have to cook and I expect they’ll have something good for me! Lol
I have beef stew in the crock pot for dinner and it has smelled so amazing all day! Yesterday my husband brought be home bread from Panera, so I am so ready to dig in! Lunch was leftover pizza and breakfast was toast and fruit.
Usually on my workout days I'm good with my greek yogurt and some blackberries or blueberries for my snack. But lately I've apparently become the sort of person that also has a second snack of sweet potato before a workout.
I love sweet potatoes, but sweet potato and snack don't ever belong in the same sentence. Ever.
Anyone else having a problem eating meat? I can’t even think about it. Today DH wanted steak and all day I couldn’t even think about it, but he cooked it perfect and it was pretty good while I was eating it. Looking back, bleh.
@paytonpedro yes definitely not a fan of plain meat, like chicken breast, steak, pork tenderloin or whatnot. But if it’s in something I don’t seem to have a problem, like shredded chicken tacos or ground beef hamburger. Even plain roasted veggies are sometimes hard to eat. Gimme all the carbs

@paytonpedro that’s how I’ve always been with meat, it’s never been my thing but I’ll eat it if that’s what’s available and it’s not bad. It’s even worse during pregnancy, bordering on aversion. Except for bbq ribs, but that’s followed by heartburn every time.
@noideawhatshesdoing I've been eating baked potatoes as a snack. I bought a bag of medium russets for a recipe and only used half the bag so I have half a bag left. Lately I've been craving baked potatoes... as snacks..
@paytonpedro I am going through the same thing too! I struggle so hard with meat even though DH is practically begging for it. I started making it in the pressure cooker and that seems to help if it's all juiced up.
Ugh, I've been doing really well, eating healthy, and junk hasn't been too much of a temptation this week. I just found a box of Girl Scout cookies in the freezer, from last year. I have no idea how they made it this long, the box wasn't even open. It is now. I'm screwed.
Made a delicious garlic shredded chicken in the instant pot, so good! It had grapefruit juice in the marinade. Tasty and healthy! Had it with a tortilla, some avo, and a salad. Wish all my dinners we're this healthy...
@DynamiteTrujillo I’ve been living off of wraps with peanut butter, apples sliced thin, raisins and some almond slivers for a little crunch. Soooooo gooddddd
I forgot my greek yogurt which is usually my morning snack. BUT the food gods were good to me and someone put half a tray of bagels and a tub of cream cheese in the break room. I was so happy... mmm bagels... I only had a half of a half but I'm considering going back for another one. I love bagels.
I'm compelled to try taco Bell nacho fries . Yup, been eating super clean but baby wants fries. Has anyone tried them?
One of my facebook friends posted that they were gross and tasted like really salty bacon. Not sure how that's possible, but it definitely turned me off of them for now! lol

@stlmegs I went and got them...the sauce is the usual nacho cheese sauce you get at abny stadium or movie theater...the fries are more like a tater tots consistency. I kinda liked them! But it won't be something I'll have again anytime soon, really need to remember to feed the baby good stuff more often than not - now on to my salad, haha!
i cannot stop ugh all I want is greasy food and ben and jerry's ugh trying to use halotop as it ia way less calories and do chicken instead of burgers but so hard
I broke down and got McDonalds last night. I had leftover korean food I could've eaten, but I really wanted a cheeseburger. Oh well, tonight I will have the leftovers.

I am like a bottomless pit today. I just ate a spinach salad with feta and strawberries, some rice and black beans, and turkey sausage with onions and peppers. And I'm still thinking I could eat a cookie. Ugh.

All healthy. Go for the cookie!
I just had some rice pudding from a local deli. AH-MAZING. Not my mom's amazing, but close enough!
@samjjorgensen everything citrus for me too! Grapefruit juice especially! I had a salad and was still hungry so went for hunmus and tortilla chips...and a few gummies...
Dear lord all I want is a hot dog. Each month we have an email that goes out at work reminding everyone of "Dog Day Friday" and I initially read "Hot Dog Day Friday". I might have to stop by the foodstore, pick some up and make sure to cook it thoroughly.
@nimmle Last night DH and I were watching Man with a Plan (S1 E18) and the in the episode, the husband had gotten a hot dog outside the hospital and missed or nearly missed the birth of his first child. DH looks at me and says "would you be mad?" and I said "not if you brought me one" Also been thinking about hot dogs since then lol

Cheetos are a snack, sweet potatoes are not.

I've also been on a crazy citrus kick for the last month or so. Clementines, grapefruit, oranges (heck even straight lemons) taste SO good.
