29 week appointment

Ok Ladies,

Got one for you.

Is anyone else having trouble breathing/shortness of breath or getting a deep breath? I was at my Drs apt Friday and I explained my recent issues. Those two things as well as nausea, bad headache (sometimes I wake up with it), chest tightening, mild swelling and sheer exhaustion.

She's sending me for an EKG and stress test as well as sending out my blood for thyrid check and iron check.

Through my own idiocy I believe that I failed my sugar test Friday (bc I didn't realize I was drinking coffee when I walked into the office)

Disclaimer is that this is my 3rd child. I don't remember this happening before.... my other two are almost 2.5 and 9mo

Hi there. This would be a great question for the symptoms thread.

So it sounds like you’ve already talked to your doctor and she took you seriously and started tests. I’m not sure what kind of response you are looking for here because none of us are doctors and can’t give you medical advice.

I also agree this would fit better in the Symptoms Thread.

Im not asking for medical advice. Im asking if anyone is having/had these same symptoms

Shortness of breath is common in the third trimester due to the babies rapid growth, he/ she starts to crowd your lungs. I'm having the same issue.

To keep things organized, it's easier to post one-off questions in existing threads.

    QFP

Okay, so you asked if we had these symptoms and said you can join in on the symptoms thread please.

And FWIW - yes, we all can't breath. We have a small human crushing our organs.

    Thanks for the snarky remarks

In fact it has nothing to do with a tiny human crushing my organs preventing me from being able to breathe. Especially not when it was occurring this early. Baby doesn't take up that much room.

But thanks- I will take my questions to another board if and when I have them.

@mdfarmchick - your comment was the snarkiest, don't you know? lol

I'm pretty sure we gave sound advice, which she took I see. She posted in the symptoms thread.

JUST READ THE PINNED BOARD ON TOP AND WE WON'T HAVE THIS PROBLEM OP. :)
