4 week old- won't nap during the day

Anyone have any advice- my 4 week old son won't nap during the day, and we've tried everything we can think of.

He sleeps a solid 6 hours at night - and will start to nod of during the day but always wakes right back up and then is obviously overtired and incredibly fussy.

    Have you tried just putting him down in his bed? My daughter does this occasionally, and I will just put her down. She usually fusses for a few minutes and then goes to sleep. If she starts legit seriously crying, I will nurse her again and then try to put her down again.
