Issues from Prenatal with Iron?

Hey Ladies!

For months before we conceived I was taking a prenanal with iron. I started experiencing a metallic taste in my mouth, tingling hands and feet and severe stomach issues. At the time I didn’t associate the issues with the vitamin but they all cleared up when I switched to a gummy with no iron! On my doctors recommendation I started taking the vitamin with iron again and a week later, the issues are back. Has anyone else experienced anything like this?!

    I would recommend an intro. 
    Then, read the post that says something like “read this first”.
    Or vice versa.
    But then, ask this is the appropriate post. Likely “weekly questions” or maybe symptoms. 
    Its generally frowned upon making a post that is just about you. For reasons stated in the READ FIRST post. 

    And. Also. Did you tell your doc it caused probs before? Maybe tell him, again. If you don’t trust your doctor, maybe find a new one.

    It's not necessarily that it's "frowned upon" it's just the equivalent of barging up to a group of women who have been chatting for a while and saying "hey guys, pay attention to me!" It's polite in an online forum to introduce yourself, lurk around and get a feel for the board, and read the rules of the group.

    Well that wasn’t my intention. The group I was in with my last pregnancy was different and people created posts on the regular.

    Yes, mine too, but that was before the Bumpsplosion of 2014 and there are several new rules in place to keep the boards much more organized. Sucks sometimes, but there are rules for a reason.

    I completely understand the reason for the rules. My last group was chaotic and to be honest turned into a total shit show of people harassing each other. I was hesitant to even join this one for that reason.

    Well, welcome to the new, structured bump! Seriously nobody's mad at your post or anything and I get it, I was around back then too, just get a feel for it and jump in with us.
