1. Not new. Three early losses in 2017.
2. TWW, CD 18.
3. Rant: I feel like I’m getting another UTI. I’m getting one about every other month and nothing works to prevent them. It’s so freaking annoying. Rave: 4-day work week, ya’ll.
4. I generally disdain people who buy into conspiracy theories, but I occasionally indulge in the TV show “Ancient Aliens” so I can’t really talk.

Not New - I think I'm still WTO CD19. I don't opk anymore.

I had a consultation today with our new OB. She seemed really nice and knowledgeable, more so than my last OB. Like everyone else said there's no reason I can't get pregnant. She said at the age of 35 your chances drop a little but she said mine wouldn't because my AMH is so good. Basically my next step is clomid monitored with the RE. She suggested I do CD5-9 and to ease my mind have a pregnancy blood test prior to taking it. I explained my concern for late implantation. She said the blood test is more accurate than the urine test. So the more I think about it I think I'm ok starting it in Feb.

School is out today because of negative wind chills so we are thinking of seeing a movie this afternoon. I'm also feeling negative thoughts come back to my brain regarding TTC cause I'm thinking about it more now so I need to not and keep the positive outlook going because life is good.

I don't really believe in conspiracy theories.

3. Rants/Raves: I’m really hoping that I ovulate this week, because DH is going away on Saturday for a work trip for 4 days, so I’m afraid I’ll miss FW if I don’t ovulate before then.

4. GTKY: Do you believe in any conspiracy theories? If so, which ones? nope, I don’t believe in things not supported by facts.

Sounds like things are slow this week with everyone.

@vlagrl29 glad your new ob seems good! It’s hard not to let the negative thoughts creep in sometimes, so like you said, keep focusing on the positive stuff going for you!

@cassafrass15 So sorry about another UTI! That's strange that you get them so often. Hope it goes away quickly.
@vlagrl29 Did you end up seeing a movie? That's great that your doctor is working with you to get an extra blood test before you start Clomid.
@acciocoffee Will you get to relax and cuddle up under some blankets when you get home tonight?

3. Rants/Raves: My first RE appointment is on Monday! For now I'm just looking forward to that. Although I'm not excited about filling out the pages and pages of paperwork in advance! Another rave, I have a 3-day work week because of the holiday yesterday, plus I had to stay home today *TW-kid* because my daughter is sick. *end TW*

@vlagrl29 I am glad you had such a good and productive meeting. I think that's smart to do bw to double check before you start the clomid to address your concerns.
@tosh24 Ugh! Sorry about the migraine! So excited for your FET!
@acciocoffee It's snowing here and we are a "panic because white stuff is falling from the sky" type of city so I'm home working/goofing off which is great.

@offtoneverland Let us know how your RE appt goes! You probably know this but ask how you can ask more questions - like do they have a portal?

3. Rants/Raves: I'm home for the afternoon due to snow so I'm kind of psyched about that. I have a monitoring appt tomorrow and I'm very curious to know what my ovaries are doing.
4. GTKY: Do you believe in any conspiracy theories? If so, which ones? Not in general, but I watched a lot of X-Files as a kid and I do think there just have to be extraterrestrial life out there in the universe. Have they visited us? Mmm, I don't know for sure but I wouldn't be surprised.

@zamora_spin @pumpkinpancake @offtoneverland - she didn't see how clomid could hurt an embryo cause it's mainly estrogen? I think it is a good idea to go ahead and have the extra blood work done before I take it. Though I know for me implantation doesn't happen until after CD5. So I'm basically going to pray nothing bad will happen once I start taking it. The OB thought I should do letrozole instead cause it won't thin your lining but I told her the RE was going to prescribe me some vag inserts to take to support it for a week. Also told her RE said letrozole can cause birth defects if taken while pregnant. I also don't want this process dragging on and on and I just dont think I'd want medicated cycles every other month - it could drag out all freaking year!

2. ~4 DPO, cd 18. This is going to be an agonizingly long TWW.
3. Rant: So here’s the downside of not drinking- I had an acquaintance ask if I was pg yesterday at a social gathering. He’s not the most socially graceful person, so I tried to cut him some slack- he was just trying to take an interest in my life- but argh I was pretty pissed off. Such an invasive question.
Rave: I have less than a month until my RE appointment! Of course, I hope I have to cancel it if I luck out this month. I’m trying not to get my hopes up but I sort of am right now.
4. No, not really. @zamora_spin I hope there are (nice) extraterrestrials out there, too. I watched a lot of X Files as a kid also- it’d be kind of sad if there’s nothing else out there.

@lin0442 That's the worst! I'm sorry he put you on the spot like that. I wish people would just stop asking anyone if they are pregnant. You are either going to hurt their feelings or make them share something they weren't ready to share. There is literally no good outcome. FX you get to cancel your appointment!

3. Rants/Raves: I'm about ready to strangle MH. He keeps going crazy and buying furniture before our house has even been built. It's making me really mad. He came home with the ugliest desk ever. I don't even want to get into it but it's cheeto orange teak. Everything in our house is going to be grey and dark wood. Rave:he got the dining table I had been drooling over. I managed to get one thing I wanted lol

I don't necessarily believe any conspiracy theories but I find them really fun to read. My favorite is the Bernstein bears one.

@galactickates I neeeed a picture of the cheeto orange desk. Pretty please? Is he going to keep it or did you make him return it? I've never heard of the Berenstein bears conspiracy theory. I just looked it up but the article is too long and I don't feel like reading it right now.

@lin0442 I'm sorry about your coworker's question. That's the worst! I guess it's nice that he was trying to take interest; some people just don't know how hurtful that question can be. I understand your wishes that you won't end up needing your RE appointment after all. My appointment is coming up and I've been feeling the same way. GL at your appointment!

2. Status? Benched (by myself. Lol) as we wait for some more answers/guidance about recent results. WTO CD 3

3. Rants/Raves:
Rant: We just had our fifth snow day this week... we’ll be in school until July at this rate. Two were actually due to power outages and not snow when we had a crazy storm in November but they still count so puke to that.

Rave: RE appt is in four days! I am so nervous... and hopeful and excited and scared and guarded. I'm all over the place but so glad it's finally almost here.

@vlagrl29 glad the doctor will give you a blood test. It's always nice when they will try to help ease your mind and not withhold things just because they "aren't necessary."

@lin0442 I just gave up drinking and am dreading that question, too. I agree times a million with @acciocoffee - there is no good way to respond to that question so WHY do people ask it!?!?

@ccvslp - I'm doing better mentally. I sure have been thinking about the worst possible situations with our next TTC steps and realizing I've been trying to control this situation so I won't get hurt anymore. So I'm working on slowly letting go of that and opening the possibility of positive thoughts and positive things that can happen. In the meantime really enjoy life cause that's what's important. GL at your RE appt.

@galactickates @offtoneverland OMG. I looked up the Bearenst(a)ein Bears theory. Wow. I totally remember it as the Berenstein Bears, but apparently it is the Bearenstain Bears and to some people that is proof that we are all either living in the Matrix/there are parallel timelines or universes. Mind blown. Apparently there are several other details out in the world - like some people claim that Nelson Mandela died in prison and he did not - that are similar, large numbers of people are CONFIDENT of some other variation of the truth. @zamora_spin!!! Me too!! That's why I typed it the way that I did to see if anyone would correct me! I even tried to find my old books! That might be the only one I believe because it happened to me lol.I find those conspiracy theories fascinating. @offtoneverland I don't know how I didn't see your response. @zamora_spin summed up the theory perfectly. And of course I'll send a picture! It's in pieces right now in our living room but I'll see if I can find the Craigs list ad.
