28 weeks. An eggplant! 2. How are you feeling lately? Been feeling pretty good. Starting to wake up in the middle of the night for no apparent reason but otherwise good! 3. Any upcoming appointments? Monday for my GTT and my RhoGam 4. Rants, Raves, Questions? Honestly I got nothing this week. 5.GTKY: How prepared are you feeling for baby? Are you actively doing things to prepare?
I am feeling maybe 10% prepared. Tonight I made up some freezer meals. The plan is to call a pediatrician on Monday and do some painting in the nursery this weekend. Still so much to do.
1. How far along are you? How big is baby? 27 weeks (hello 3rd tri!) Lettuce? 2. How are you feeling lately? squished. My ribs hurt. Falling asleep is becoming harder too because I toss turn a lot trying to get comfortable. 3. Any upcoming appointments? ugh, I still need to go do my glucose test. I keep putting it off. 4. Rants, Raves, Questions? nothing is coming to mind 5.GTKY: How prepared are you feeling for baby? Are you actively doing things to prepare? Not very. We got a quote for paint and carpet install. Monday they'll be here so I can pick the carpet and paint then get started. That's it. I swear this baby is going to come and I'm going to have nothing prepared.
@ftm_ohio Good luck with your gtt! @sapphires-and-diamonds GL with your gtt too! Yay for carpet and paint - so exciting! ------ 1. How far along are you? How big is baby? 29 weeks, size of an acorn squash.
2. How are you feeling lately? Achey back and ribs, some pelvic pain, sleep discomfort, but otherwise pretty good. Baby is moving more, which I love, especially with my anterior placenta.
3. Any upcoming appointments? I had my 3 hour glucose test today because I failed the 1 hour last week. It sucked, bad. I really hope I pass.
4. Rants, Raves, Questions? Including water in a 12 hour fast is pure torture. I was miserable last night and couldn't sleep because I was so thirsty. It was absolutely the worst part of the 3 hour glucose test.
5.GTKY: How prepared are you feeling for baby? Are you actively doing things to prepare? Not at all? I have to get rid of one of the two desks that I use to do sewing in order to fit the dresser we got for the baby, so I've been putting it off, which of course means we can't build the dresser until there's a place to put it. Similarly, we still need to buy and install a new washer and dryer, so I haven't been able to start washing clothes and diapers. Yeesh, this baby better keep baking for as long as possible!

@hedgepig OH NO!!! I’m so sorry about the glucose test. Just fasting for a couple hours for the one hour was hard for me. I can’t believe you couldn’t drink water? Ugh!!!
@sapphires-and-diamonds ah the rib pain, that sounds rough. Ditto on finding sleep harder and harder.
@ftm_ohio freezer meals and a pediatrician call feels incredibly grown up and responsible to me! I’m like wait, I need that doctor before I deliver???
1. 26 weeks, Baby is a kale!
2. This week has absolutely kicked my ass with travel and work. But health wise, still feeling good. I now cannot sleep without a pillow under my belly.
3. Not till next month
4. I am coming to peace with this insane travel schedule I’ve set. This weekend we are in Napa as we are considering a move. one of the houses we saw is a real possibility. On the downside, we had an absolute dick of a real estate agent touring us around all day. He’s the type that kind of discounts the wife. I was stuck in the back of his car, hunched over (I’m 6’) listening to him go on and on about who he knows in the valley, blah blah blah. He interrupted me several times when I would finally try to weigh in on properties. I can put up with a lot, but being interrupted by some mansplainign asshole is not cool.
5. Considering I have travel planned for the next several weeks, I would say I am WILDLY unprepared! I think hearing from a few moms how little you really need in the beginning is leading to dangerous procrastinating!
@hedgepig NO WATER?!? Does your doctor know you're pregnant? That's a violation of your 8th amendment rights if I've ever heard it! Anyway, fx you passed no problem!
I'm totally feeling you on, this baby needs to stay put until April 6, cuz this momma needs the time!
@stalkinghorse I did find out in my breastfeeding class that if you DON'T have a pediatrician going in, my hospital assigns you one, but obviously is better to do before cuz I want to pick him!
VERY exciting to maybe be loving a house, but this real estate guy sounds like he could you a swift kick in the face with one of you long legs girl! Will he be the one you have to deal with if you do go for this property?
