Anyone else struggling with severe all day morning sickness and dehydration?

I am only 8 weeks and have felt this way since about week 5.. I am at a loss. I have a two year old to take care of as well, and not able to move from the bed or couch

I can't seem to get enough water in me before throwing it all up. My first pregnancy went so smoothly. I have nausea meds from my doctor, but they don't seem to help much.

OP, if you're becoming too dehydrated and unable to keep fluids down, you may require IV fluids. Some women have such severe hyperemesis gravidarum that they require regular IV fluids throughout pregnancy. I'd recommend talking to your OB to see what other options you have beyond the current plan since clearly those meds aren't working for you.

Also, it's recommended that if you cannot keep fluids down for more than 24 hours, you seek treatment at the ER to prevent further complications. Most OB offices have a weekend on-call nurse or doctor to answer urgent questions. Best of luck.
