2. About 12-15 guests (all family, aside from my best friend).
3. I'll be 32 weeks. (3 weeks away!)
4. I'll be grateful for any gifts but I'm really hoping I don't get any more clothes because I already have a ton.
5. Not really a theme but the invitations and plates and stuff have cute little blue elephants.
I'm really excited because once the shower is over, the next big event will be little man's debut!!
Who's hosting? Our bosses are in charge of both the work showers and my mom is in charge of the family shower.
How many guests? Not sure tbh. The more the merrier!
How many weeks will you be? 32 weeks for DH's work shower, 35 for the family and if I make it 36 weeks for my work shower.
Any special or funny gifts? I really am looking forward to all the sentimental ones!
Any thing you're hoping for or adamantly against at your shower? My only rule is to have fun, wherever we are!
What's the theme? Blue EVERYTHING for the work showers, and superheroes for the family. Below are examples of the invites!!

My BFF, a close friend, and my Grandma even though she is insisting she doesn’t want any credit. Yeah right, it was her idea initially!
How many guests?
I don’t know how many are actually attending as they asked for “regrets only.” Makes me nervous! I believe I gave 12 addresses, though. Far smaller than with my first!

35, almost 36 weeks

I'm having 2 as far as I know. One for Church family/biological family and one for friends

Some close friends of mine from church are hosting the church/family one and my best friend is hosting the friend one.

For the church one I'll be 30 weeks on the dot and for the friend on I'll be 32 weeks.

I really never thought this day would come (5 years of infertility) so I'm just grateful to be at this point.
What's the theme?
I don't think the church one has a theme (I'm out of the loop on that one lol) and the friend one is Rainbows and kind of geeky.

Who's hosting? My mother-in-law and Mom, respectively.
How many guests? There were about 16 people at each.
How many weeks will you be? I was 29 weeks at the first and 31 at the second.
Any special or funny gifts? My sister-in-law and my husband's aunt knit BEAUTIFUL blankets and sweaters for baby girl! My mom made sure to buy my LO versions of all the things I loved as a baby - my favorite books and nonnie blankets. She also handed down baby spoons that fed first solid meals to my aunt, myself, my brother, and my godson, which is crazy special! And I can't not mention that one of my best friends got baby a CD of lullaby versions of Beyonce songs.
Any thing you're hoping for or adamantly against at your shower? Our families have a way of going over the top, so I really begged our moms to keep things as simple and low-key as possible. And they did! The showers were cozy and intimate and only full of the people I really love, and that mattered to me so much.
What's the theme? My MIL's theme was yellow/grey + honeybees, just like baby's room will be. My mom's was a combination of children's literature and "IT'S A GIRL!" - the first because of who I am, the second because of who she is
Add pictures if you've got them! Like I said, my mom is hyper into the fact that baby is a girl. Everything centered on it - except for these balloons she ordered on accident. My brother fixed them for her!
Who's hosting? The first will be my mom's good friend, another will be my sister, mom, and some friends of mine.
How many guests? I believe 15/16 at each one.
How many weeks will you be? 30 at the first one and something like 35 at the second one.
Any special or funny gifts? No idea yet! Haven't had them.
Any thing you're hoping for or adamantly against at your shower? Not specifically hoping for anything - though anything on my registry I obviously would like lol. I already have so many newborn clothes I'm hoping I don't get too many of those... but that's probably a lost cause hope lol.
What's the theme? The first one will be a traditional Indian wedding (I'm not Indian, but the host is) and the second I have no clue.

@amanning2011 Yeah infertility SUCKS! After going for so long thinking this may not happen for us it's nice feeling all the love we're getting. It's beautiful!

Who's hosting?
The friends/family shower is being hosted by an old high-school friend of mine and his gf, and then I'm assuming the work shower is being organized by my work friend who's been dubbed as "my own personal cheerleader", she's been so amped about my being pregnant, lol.
How many guests?
Depending on how many of the out-of-state invitees make it, probably about 30-35? Work shower will be smaller, but its all a super-secret surprise so I'd be guessing on numbers.
How many weeks will you be?
For the friends/family shower 35+4. No clue on the work shower, but it'll probably be around the same time.
Any special or funny gifts?
Not yet, but considering one of my friends got me the book "Lets panic about BABIES" as soon as I announced... I'm sure there will be.
Any thing you're hoping for or adamantly against at your shower?
I am hoping for my mother to behave herself (at my wedding she managed to flounce twice. In one event. I'm curious to see if she breaks her record). Beyond that, not too much pink would be cool.
What's the theme?
Not really any cohesive theme I know of, though the friends/family shower is going to also be a birthday party for me, so uh... big on the birth thing at the very least.

I never had a wedding shower, or really any big birthday parties, so I'm a bit excited. And it'll be nice to see some of my family that I haven't seen since the wedding as well.
I really didn't want to do games, and mentioned it on multiple occasions, but I've been overruled... My mom keeps telling me she found this game and that game the looks "So Cute!". I just hope it does't get awkward.
What's the theme?
Airplanes! My husband and I both work in aviation, so I had a lot of airplane decor that I let my mom borrow for the party.
This was the pic I took for the Facebook announcement, and it's kind of the inspiration for the theme as well.

The lady hosting it sort of convinced me to go along with it (I was hesitant because I already knew about shower #2 and like I honestly don't need two showers), but then she straight up just never sent invites. She asked me for everyone's email addresses and planned to do an email invite like PostMark. It's not because she's rude or unorganized, I think she just doesn't know how to do it. I had sent out a message to friends giving them a heads up that it was happening and they were invited a long time ago (some of them are flying in from out of state for it and almost all of them have kids so I wanted to give them time to plan) so they all know about it. But it's just weird and friends keep asking where the invite is. As the guest of honor I definitely didn't want to nag her about the invites so... oh well.
I talked to my mom this morning about it and I think my mom is just going to fire out some email invites.

I had no expectations, I assumed I wasn't having one (second baby) so I was happy to have one at all.

The only picture I remembered to get was of the cake. The wife of an officer we work with does cakes for fun and they're always amazing. This one was strawberry lemonade flavor because I've been obsessed this pregnancy, lol.
2 formal showers. My interns at another job recently pooled together and surprised me with a gift (very unexpectedly!)

The first shower is going to be at work. The second will be hosted by my best friend and my sister

?? Not sure, my husband has a large family! I gave out a small list from my side of the family and my husband's aunt is responsible for inviting his side. So it might be much larger than a party I would normally host myself.

Knowing my sister...? She is going to make me a few items and she is notorious for funny gifts.

Hoping for: I know a few friends and family are bringing gifts they made. I think that is super sweet and I'm really looking forward to them. My sister has gotten really good at making baby books (after a bunch of her friends had children).
Against? Shower games. Ugh.

Quick etiquette question- Would it be bad manners to use the same thank you cards for everybody (think buying a set of 50) instead of individual ones? We did keep lists of the gift givers and will personalize each card.
We're team green, so decor was purple and green. 25 guests came, so our house was standing room only! My best friend from college visited us to host and she was awesome!
Everyone was invited to decorate a onsie with fabric pain and that turned out to be a blast! Pictures in spoiler. (they were taken after the party when we needed dinner. Party food was not pizza delivery!)
