27! First tri; going by way too fast. I think the bump said lettuce.
How are you feeling?
Im feeling pretty good. Getting back into my daily routine post holidays/sickness/traveling. BUT DH has the flu so I am on Tamiflu. Trying not to worry about potential harmful effects.... I cannot get the flu though. The stomach flu was bad enough.
Any appointments this week?
had one last week. So I am good for another month then on to biweekly. Not looking forward to that. It was cool getting my uterus measured though.
Rants/raves?
Rant-just how sick everyone is. Pretty sure DH picked it up on a flight home from DC. At one point I vividly recall everyone seated around us and to the side coughing at the same time.
My rave is disinfectant spray! How I love thee!

ok y’all I am extra hungry so I have a lot of options swirling in my head... but I’ll go with a sushi dinner. Spicy tuna roll, philly roll, spider maki, etc. I would get the boat! And some edamame and sea weed salad. And then fried ice cream.

exhausted I hate my pregnancy pillow it hasn't helped at all. I am so uncomfortable all night.

driving- I am so short tempered since i have been pregnant with every car around me. my husband pointed it out so now I notice all the time I am getting pissed at people.

uncomfortable all the time. I got a yoga ball to sit on, but it hasn't helped too much.
Any appointments this week?
No. But next week I have my OB appt. (just moved to every 2 weeks) and then 2 days later I have my MFM appt.

@kmc8217 I feel ya on the lack of comfort- all my insides feel squished. No sure how I’ll go another 13 weeks.

Uncomfortable. My hips hurt, my back hurts, etc. 40 weeks can't come soon enough!

Not this week, but I had a surprise echocardiogram last week. Definitely not a pleasant surprise, but everything looked great!

Going off the last question, I do have a rant. I had my A/S over a month ago, and no one ever went over the results with me. So, when I found out I would be needing to get an echocardiogram and growth scans done at my appointment with my midwife last week due to having a 2 vessel cord, I was pretty unprepared. Apparently they thought they had gone over my results with me. I really do like the birthing center I'm at, and I'm looking forward to having my baby there, but I'm pretty unhappy they dropped the ball.

Vegan sushi, no question. Pre-vegan it would have been sushi and sashimi lol.

How are you feeling?
ok, started taking Zantac for heartburn a few days ago. Seems to help a bit. Sleeping slightly better. Just uncomfortable and huge. Wondering how much bigger I can get these next 10-12 weeks. Eekkk!!!

Yes, Thursday. Now I'm at the 2 week mark.

Nothing much. Just getting excited about meeting baby! Can't believe I'm almost in the 3rd trimester!!

Geeze, IDK... It's tough because I've got Heartburn right now. Lol. I'd say these dumplings I had last time I went to Vegas at this Asian restaurant. They we're the bomb!!!

How are you feeling?
Emotional! I’ve been weepy all week. Also, my right hip is really bothering me. Diagnosed with rotated hip few years back but have been able to manage the pain up until now. On top of that, right arm is quite tender from the TDAP shot. Other than that, all good here.
Any appointments this week?
My appointment was yesterday. Glucose test (failed), pediatrician tour, sono, regular visit, RhoGAM and TDAP shots, and more blood drawn to recheck thyroid. It was a busy day.
Rants/raves?
Rant: sleeping is becoming more difficult again. Getting there and staying there are hard and then it is more difficult to get up in the mornings.
Rave: Thursday was our last appointment with the specialist. Everything is progressing as it should.

I have enough trouble planning our meals from day to day. Haha

How are you feeling?
Sleep is difficult. RLS has popped up and is making things difficult. I get up every night to pee and it takes hours to fall back asleep. Naps have become a necessity. Also getting winded easier and I’m now having heartburn so little lady must have finally moved up some.

Consult/meeting with pediatrician and MFM F/u.

Sincw I wouldn’t have to worry about my blood sugar, really good fresh cut fries, all the rolls and butter, apple chimi cheesecake from Applebee’s, and probably some kind of amazing steak.

How are you feeling?
My back is killing me, and emotionally, I'm a hot mess. I cried at Frozen on Ice with my daughter. It was ridiculous. I am prone to seasonal depression and the negative temperatures and snowstorm have kept me indoors so I'm definitely feeling it right now.
Any appointments this week?
Nothing this week, but I'm starting every two week appointments now, so next week, I'll do my glucose and rhogam along with my regular appointment.
Rants/raves?
Winter is much more fun when you can sip wine by the fire. Sipping tea just isn't the same.

ok most days, can still exercise etc but my rib pain has already begun and is making my commute really tough.

Friday- glucose test (i've skipped going the past two weeks!!! no excuses) and a 28 week check up. Appts will be every 2 weeks now, YAY, 3rd tri and the beloved appts every two weeks milestone.
Rants/raves?
Rave- SO and I spent all of saturday working on the nursery. We demo'd the remaining two walls, bagged and cleaned up all the wall we took down, insulated the outside walls, took out a hall closet that previous owners had built blocking the original doorway (its perfection and i'm so glad we're restoring to some of the original features)and started prepping for SO do drywall! I think in two more weeks he's going to frame the closets and begin putting walls up! YIPPEE! And we went to the mall sunday and I was able to ease my mind by grabbing a couple crib sheets and changing pad covers from pottery barn. (we seriously have nothing for this baby!!)

Indian food! PRetty much anything, naan, tandoori chicken, shrimp, EVERYTHING!
How are you feeling? I'm feeling okay. The whole polyp issue put me on edge. They told me I'll likely bleed the rest of the pregnancy and it's stressful. Also, I'm just so very tired.
Any appointments this week? Not until next week.
Rants/raves? Rant - I'm not supposed to pick up anything heavier than a gallon of milk and this weekend when I was home with DS by myself I REALLY wanted to clean out the attic and move things and I'm just not good at taking it easy. Also I'm on edge because of the bleeding which I was told is fine as long as it doesn't change. Every twinge has me second guessing
Rave - DS is such a sweet little helper lately and helped me put away the laundry! Also an upside of my night at the hospital, I got to see baby again and they could tell that he has hair!

@codingchildhood That's a pretty big ball to drop! I would be upset too!
For everybody with heartburn - when I was overnight in the hospital the nurse gave me milk and graham crackers instead of tums, and it actually helped!
@dubnug That TDAP shot was rough! My arm hurt too.
@fancybelmont I hope you are feeling better! Not sure where you live but I'm hoping that it's going to warm up a little towards the end of this week so we can at least get outside and get fresh air. Seasonal depression is no joke.
@ekendall09 Yay for the progress on your nursery!! Just this weekend I started thinking maybe I should buy something for this baby... I was thinking at least maybe picking up some decorations for his alcove and some crib sheets. He's really going to have second child syndrome haha

we got this ladies I also had a mild panic and realized I havent bought anything for the baby but ended up buying a soft night light and i am hoping that is enough to put me at ease until my shower in a month.
