How are things going? How are you feeling?
I’m bummed because I’m not feeling very excited yet, but I think that’s because I’m exhausted from chasing around a very mobile, teething 9mo LO and haven’t had time to sit and focus on this new LO. I really have no pregnancy symptoms other than fatigue, so hoping I’m just lucky and it’s too early for the MS and whatnot.

Jan 17th at a new OB office with my old OB who moved practices. I’m not sure if they have in-office US but hoping so.
What did you do for NYE this year?
I got a babysitter and went out to our comedy club to see a comedian and then my DH’s band play afterwards. It was fun but ultimately reminded me why I’m a homebody.
Are you planning any vacations/baby moons/trips before September? If so, what?
DH and I are going to Maine in June for our friend’s destination wedding. I’m excited because I’ve never been to Maine before! Also I’m hoping the bump will be at the cute and not massive stage right around then.

I have all the essentials from DS, but am compiling a list of needs for #2 (new bottle nipples, burp cloths, etc). I would like to splurge on a wrap or ring sling because I’m sure baby wearing will be a necessity when chasing around a toddler too. DS wasn’t a huge fan of being worn until he was older, so I have a Lillebaby. Now he’s 25 pounds and mobile, so he that’s one big NOPE to being worn now! My baby wearing experience was brief and not much fun.

•stayed home with the girls and my family. Played ‘Cards Against Humanity’ poured me a large glass of wine and “sipped” on it while MH took up the slack of my lack of drinking

•No registry. DD#2 is only 20 months and I have most of everything still from her and we bought the minimum of what we needed because of lack of space

i was feeling so good up until last week I was hit with a wall of nausea and fatigue.

i haven’t even called to set one up yet! Like @Wishilivedinflorida said, I also haven’t been able to sit back and enjoy this pregnancy yet between looking after two busy girls and feeling terrible. I plan to call today (although I said that yesterday).
What did you so for NYE?
Nothing! I worked until 7pm and was exhausted after! We hung out in the basement and watched the countdown but I was asleep by 10pm
edut. Because apparently half my post was deleted.
We we have a trip coming up to Florida for Disney in July (going to be hot sweaty and swollen pregnant!)
We haven’t bought anything yet and probably won’t as we have all of the essentials. If it’s another girl we literally will need nothing.
And I am a third time mom!

We have a few trips that were already planned. We'll be going to Houston in a couple of weeks. Then Iceland in late March/early April with some friends, then Florida in June for my best friend's wedding. I kind of want to go to Harry Potter world while there but not sure if there's enough I'd be able to do.

So while I'm a FTM, I've been either a nanny or a preschool teacher for the last ten years and my specialty is infants through 2y. Basically, I made the registry last week of all the things I already knew I liked best. My mom has already purchased 7 things from it. I have some clothes and quite a few books so far.

@born2run911 Hoping you (and I) get some energy soon! But realistically, probably not! I’ve resigned myself to the fact that I’ll probably be chronically fatigued for the next 2-3 years of my life at least!
I'm 5+4 I think, not trying to get too hung up on exact dates until my US. The 16th! Less than two weeks.
Feeling good generally but every morning I wake up a little more queasy and my boobs are pretty achy. Very tired. But really not much of note yet.

How are things going? How are you feeling? Things are going pretty well. I'm feeling good so far...just sore boobs and gassy and a little tired, but no real nausea.

What did you do for NYE this year? I didn't drink, saying that I overindulged a few weeks ago and decided to take a break. I'm sure my sister and brother in law suspect something...lol.

I guess everything is going ok. Morning sickness is back with a vegence again and started earlier than my last pregnancy.
Up coming appointments?
My first appointment is next Friday with a nurse, so not really sure what it's going to entail, but they did day it would last over an hour. I'm with a new group now, so not sure how they run things. I know I have my first "provider visit" in Februry.
What did you do for NYE this year?
Stayed in and went to bed early, I've never been a night person anyways, so add in being pregnant and not a chance I was making it to midnight.
Planning any vacations before September?
I am going to visit my mom in Texas this February with my daughter, but that was planned before we found out.

Not yet, we have a 20 month old DD, so have the basics, but will be buying another crib and a double stroller. We will probably register, but only to get the completion bonus and because I know our families will ask about what they can get.

How are things going? How are you feeling? Starting to look better, I *think* the spotting is done. Feeling exhausted, bloated, and all I do is pee. A little dizzy, but not nauseous yet. Last time I was only sick from 7-13 weeks, so I still figure it's coming.

New state from my last, but I'm seeing the midwife that I grew up using as my Gyno. That being said, first check in isn't until 10 weeks, so Feb 12.
What did you do for NYE this year?
Made a nice dinner at home, in bed by 10:30. Had what would be my last cocktail-tested in the morning.

Nothing-new house, new jobs, so we're generally staying home, other than probably a week in Florida with my Grandma- (TW family loss my grandfather is very ill, and we're expecting to be down there for a funeral in the next month or so. End TW)

I only plan on picking up 1-2 outfits, and to borrow a bassinet or rock and play. I kept everything from my son. I an excited to reuse his adorable newborn cloth diapers.

We hosted a party as we have the past two years. I "drank" gin and sprite out of a metal tumbler all night. I'm normally a beer drinker so we will see if anyone suspects anything.

How are things going? How are you feeling? Anxious! I have a history of MC, with a known cause, so can't accept this is real until after a first ultrasound shows it's viable.
Upcoming appointments? Ultrasound scheduled for the 17th to check for viability.
What did you do for NYE this year? Nothing! And enjoyed it. :-)
Are you planning any vacations/baby moons/trips before September? If so, what? Family vacation at a lake house scheduled already for end of July...it'll be nice to just float around in a lake while super pregnant!

Definitely no registry--my daughter is almost 20 months old, and we had a baby shower for her, so I won't have another. If the grandparents or close friends/relatives want to buy us something, they can ask or choose themselves. I likely won't buy anything ourselves until close to the 3rd trimester, just because of worrying about MC. We'll just need the nursery set-up, a new car seat, and some clothes, to start.

I work full time, and have a husband and almost-20-month daughter who is in daycare (which we love, and a big pet peeve of mine is people who act like daycare is only for people who HAVE to use it; I choose to work and I love my choice..doesn't mean i"m less of a mom!).

Good! Tired already and nervous about adding a 4th to the chaos but excited. I'm getting a new job next fall so that's process is also adding to the anxiety.

I just got my second round of bloodwork back today and my progesterone was 36 and beta was about 1400 with doubling time of 35 hours. Great numbers! First appointment will be 1/24.

Probably not. It would be fun but it would be hard to find someone to keep the older 3 kids. We'll take a family vacation to the shore (ocean city NJ) this summer.

No! I will probably buy nothing. I already have everything I could need besides more diapers! Maybe I'll get back into cloth diapering. The girls were spring babies but I think I have enough girl clothing to make the sizes work if this is a girl and then DS was a September baby so my boy clothes should be perfectly sized if we end up with another boy!

My first inkling that I might be pregnant was because I was in a better mood and had a little more energy than normal for about a week before I tested. Since then I've had a few days of fatigue and maybe snapped at DH a little, but otherwise nothing.

Called today and got my first appointment set up for the 24th. I feel like I should know the answer to this question already but, those of you getting blood draws - is that because of high risk/fertility issues/previous losses/etc.? Or is it just standard for some OBs?

DH and I went to bed and listened to an audio book together until midnight when we smooched and promptly went tf to sleep. :Wink:

How are things going? How are you feeling?
Pretty good overall. I had a lot of cramping in the beginning, but that seems to be getting better. I’ve been nauseous off and on for the last couple weeks but it got worse yesterday. I know most symptoms don’t really start until 6-7 weeks so I know it’s going to get worse.
Upcoming appointments?
I already had my betas at 12dpo (80) and 14dpo (224) so now I’m waiting on my first ultrasound on the 10th. I will only be 6weeks 3 days at the ultrasound so I’m worried we won’t be able to see the heartbeat, which will cause a lot of anxiety!
What did you do for NYE this year?
Nothing, I was in bed by 9!

We are renting a small lake house for week with our best friends at the end of July. We booked it before we knew we were pregnant. I’m really looking forward to being able to float around the lake!

We won’t need much- our DS is almost 2 and we still have everything (we went pretty gender neutral with his newborn stuff). But we will be moving our son to a new room and sprucing up his room for the nursery at some point, so we will buy some room decor for both rooms. We will probably get a few practical things like new bottles, but will wait until later in the pregnancy. If I ended up having a miscarriage, I don’t think I could handle having new baby stuff around, so I would rather wait until everything is looking healthy later on.

Things are actually going great so far! I don't feel as sick as last time and I have been very active over the past two years and continue to take my beloved classes at OrangeTheory so I am hoping that will help me feel better overall.

I’m doing well. My biggest issues are insomnia and back pain. My first pregnancy my chest went up a size by now, so I’m just grateful that hasn’t happened again.

I’ll be going on a bachelorette in February to SC and the wedding is in Florida in March. DH’s family wants us to go to Indiana since there’s a family reunion so we might do that. I feel pretty terrible. I’m nauseated all the time and all foods and beverages are NOT appealing. However, if I feel like this, my body must be doing something right, so I’ll take it!

Jan. 16 is first sono/appt.
What did you do for NYE this year?
A few families that we are close with did a pajama party NYE for the second year in a row. We make a pot luck dinner, do a fake countdown for the kids, and then play games and hang out after they’re sleeping. So fun!

We haven’t purchased anything. We’ll probably do a small registry just so people have an idea of what we need/want. (I’m an STM but we had a fire when my DS was 2.5 months so we lost a bunch of our newborn stuff.)
Are you FTM, STM, MOMs, PAIF, PGAL, etc?
I’m an STM (DS turned 2 in September) so the kids will be three years apart.
