This is a check in for those due between August 1-7! Thought I would post it closer to the day we're supposed to even though its been only 5 days since the last one! Hope its ok!
How big is baby this week? Any fun comparisons?
How are you feeling? Physically and/or emotionally?

GTKY: New Years resolutions?
Re: DD Check in For First Week of August (NYE Edition!)
How are you feeling? Physically and/or emotionally?Pretty ok. Nauseous in the morning, aversions occasionally, but pretty gassy and heartburny. Had to eat tums yesterday. Also, still have hemerhoids so started taking colace. Pooping sucked so much less this morning.
Questions? Nope!
GTKY: New Years resolutions? Last year my resolution was no crash diets and to just try and pay more attention to what I'm eating. TW When my daughter died last year I totally went through a crazy phase trying to figure out what I did wrong to deserve her dying, and that turned into a more healthy reflection on what I could do to make myself a happier person, and also a better mother, wife, and friend. I guess a good resolution would be to not get complacent in that personal growth and keep looking for ways to have healthy relationships and be happy with myself and my life! end TW
How are you feeling? Physically and/or emotionally? I'm feeling basically fine physically. Just tired, some headaches, and scent aversions. Emotionally, I'm just nervous since I haven't had our first appointment yet and I don't have a lot of symptoms. I keep feeling like I need reassurance that everything is okay, but I guess I'll have to wait for my appointment on 1/11.
Questions? Anyone else kinda wish they had MS so that the anxiety that something is wrong would go away?
GTKY: New Years resolutions? Get back to the gym so that I can have a healthy pregnancy. Also cut out frivolous expenses so we can save for the baby.
@SmashJam you have a really positive outlook on life. Inspirational.
Feeling anxious about going back to work tomorrow after ten days of essentially being a hermit in my pjs. Hopefully it will be good to get back into my routine. The gym where I teach at one class a week is semi pressuring me to decide if I’m coming back ( I took a few weeks off) and I don’t know what to do.
NY resolutions, nothing really besides having a healthy pregnancy and delivery and bouncing back strong and taking being a mom of two in stride. Chugging along in my career while working on my Masters in Health Promotion as well. Basically not going crazy!
How are you feeling? Physically and/or emotionally? Just tired. Apparently I only slept like an hour last night for some godforsaken reason. Ugh.
Questions? Nope.
GTKY: New Years resolutions?nope. We don’t really NYResolutions.

I’m feeling tired. I fall asleep at night okay, but then I wake up thirsty, drink something, and throw that up. Then I can’t go back to sleep. This has happened like the past 3 or 4 nights. Not sure if eating a snack right before bed would help or hurt.
No questions, but I hope everyone has a happy new year day!
No resolutions for me!
Gassy, tired, nauseated. I have to continuously eat to avoid the nausea, which bothers me more than I'd like to admit. I quit my sport this year, and am out of shape. That combined with the constant eating and bloat is making me really self conscious.
My questions as a first time mom with literally no experience with babies (never even held one) are all about baby gear. What is actually necessary to buy for a baby, and what is it all for? I think I finally have a handle on cloth diapers this week.
I don't really have a resolution, just spending this year getting ready for having a baby. Luckily for me my husband has had two babies before, unfortunately it's been 17 years, and a lot has changed/been forgotten.

Team green baby due: Aug 6th, 2018
2. Someplace to store LOs clothes just so they were out of the way.
3. Blankets galore. Some to swaddle, some to cover and spares upon spares for blowouts/throw up.
4. Breastfeeding supplies/bottles
5. And lots of practice with the car seat and changing clothes.
Infants are breakable, but not quite as delicate as they look.
ETA: Spacing.

How are you feeling? Physically and/or emotionally? Tired both physically and mentally. I like being productive and doing stuff, and all of this couch and down time is killing me emotionally.
Questions?
GTKY: New Years resolutions? Get/stay more active! Still trying to figure out what works best for me and the morning sickness plus exhaustion. I'm going to try a new yoga app called Downward Dog that was recommended to me last week.
@SmashJam Your positive outlook is great and really helping me too! Keep it up!
@derbysquirrel In addition to what @princesslockness said, I found that a baby carrier of some sort (stroller, wrap, or structured chest carrier) is also necessary to be on the go. My son needed to be on the move and outside a lot, so I usually walked him in the stroller. But, stroller isn't always convenient, and I often wore him in the chest carrier around the house doing laundry or other chores. He was also a winter baby, so on the cold days, I loved bundling him against me and walking. The constant motion was very soothing to him. But, you won't know what you and your baby prefer until he or she arrives. I got lucky and was given a hand-me-down ergo, Becco Gemini, and a ring sling. I thought I'd love the sling, but hated it. My SO loved the ergo and I loved the Becco. Carriers are often cheap or free on local moms groups or consignment because they are pretty durable. I suggest finding a few that you can try (or borrow from a friend) in the beginning to see what works for you.
How are you feeling? Physically and/or emotionally? I am a bit nervous today because my nausea has really gone away. I don't know if it's because I've been taking B6 (though I haven't for a few days) or if it's because something is wrong. I had a MMC around this time before so I could really use some reassurance. Seeing my midwife tomorrow so I'm hoping she will use the Doppler and that will help. Otherwise I am not showing as much as I expected to with a 3rd baby this early, but I am tired and getting up to pee a lot still so hopefully everything is okay.
Questions? Nope but one fun announcement - I did my Panorama test 6 days ago so I am excited to get those results soon!
GTKY: New Years resolutions? I want to be calmer and more patient with the kids, more mindful and maybe start doing short meditations daily. I never do resolutions but this year I am kind of in the mood for a small change.
10w, strawberry.
How are you feeling? Physically and/or emotionally?
Physically, oh man. I’ve been fighting a cold for like 2 weeks on top of ms and I feel like I can never get enough rest. I’m so tired and so cranky, not fun times.
Emotionally, I feel like a bad mom and wife because my patience is at zero and I’m snapping at my family multiple times a day. DH understands, but I’m constantly apologizing to my DD and explaining that I didn’t mean it but she needs to follow directions.
I’m SO over first tri.
Questions?
nope.
GTKY: New Years resolutions?
To physically be a healthier me, I hadn’t gotten around to loosing the last of my pregnancy weight from my last baby before this pregnancy, so I really want to kick it in gear after this little one. I also want to start letting go of feeling like I need to have so much control, and realizing that I can only do so much in a day so some things will have to wait and that’s ok.
