Due to my doctor ordered rest DH is having to help with DS a lot more, mainly since I'm not supposed to lift him at all if avoidable. I'm lucky that DH can work from home to do this but man I and getting tired of being stuck in the house with a bored toddler and DH always here. DH also moves at a slow pace compared to how I get things done and it's starting to drive me insane. I guess I take back my UO saying I enjoyed being put on ordered rest.

I can't answer my own GTKY...Most any good NYE I've had I've been to drunk to remember properly. There was the one where I threw up promptly at MN because I had been drinking since 3. My teen years were usually fun in the "in a loser" sort of way but I appreciate them now, anyway many of my NYEs then were spent at home playing cards with my parents until 2AM.

Exhausted. And I still have a bad cough/cold.

It’s so cold here. And I just went grocery shopping and had a major coughing fit after walking the cart back. I just want to lie in bed all day and do NOTHING. My son has been napping for a few hours now, and I should wake him since it’s getting close to bed time, and I want to go to bed early tonight.

We would always party at my cousin’s house. BYOB, no paying for expensive drinks at a bar. Warm house. All our friends came over. We played drinking games and hung out. And then we would usually sleep over.
2. How are you feeling this week? Monday I thought I was going to die from MS, so my doctor called me in diclegis. It worked like a miracle! Felt great the rest of the week but I didn't take it last night because I wanted to see how I felt without it. There was a chance I had a mild stomach bug but I am pretty sure Monday was just MS. Lol. Otherwise crampy off and on, tired, and irritable. Today I finally ate a salad, though, so maybe I can start eating better.
3. Rant/Rave: We got the GhostBed yesterday and really like it so far. I'm super picky about bedding, and since we upgraded to a king, I spent most of the day looking for something I liked. Great sales going on but I found nothing. And all that shopping made me pretty crampy.
GTKY: I want to hear your best or worst New Years Eve Story: I had a lot more fun on NYE when I was a kid and it was "taboo" to stay up so late. I loved going with my parents to their friend's house where we played card games and charades all night, and drank sparkling champagne. Now I just go to bed at like 8 and bitch when people set off fireworks. Haha!!!

I don’t have much. We always had a gathering at church. Fun, nothing exciting to tell, though.
2. How are you feeling this week? Still don’t feel pregnant and it’ll still freak me out until I do. Getting to see baby and the heartbeat helped though!
3. Rant/Rave: I just spent a really wonderful evening with DS alone. He’s such a sweet, kind and funny 2yo and he’s going to be such a good big brother. My heart was nearly bursting
GTKY: I want to heat your best or worst New Years Eve Story: my favorite was when I got a sweet deal on a limo from Groupon so a bunch of my friends pregamed at our house and the limo took us out to a local brewery that has a huge party every year with open bar. We got so drunk but then didn’t even have to worry about getting home because limo service!

2. How are you feeling this week? Ok, I guess? Heartburn is more frequent (but still not bad), and boobs hurt much more. Mildly queasy but still no MS. Burping constantly.
3. Rant/Rave: Nothing really. I'm super nervous til my next US in two weeks.
GTKY: I want to heat your best or worst New Years Eve Story: Hm - I don't know about best - most of the time I'm too drunk to remember. But one NYE, my BFF and I went out and her appendix burst. We spent the rest of the holiday in the ER.

I had my first food aversion yesterday to a delicious hamburger dh made. This happened my last pregnancy as well but I'm not ready to give up red meat right now.

Hoping my best will be tonight. We are having my family Christmas/ my cousins 21st birthday. Usually the holiday festivities are all crammed into Christmas eve/day and we have to split the time between families. Looking forward to just getting to relax and enjoy the day

pretty good. However every evening I tend to get a bout of nausea which I would take over the heartburn I was having the last couple of weeks.

Not a whole lot happening to rant or rave about here. Maybe besides the cold and I am typically a cold weather person however in Central PA we don’t often have temperatures with a feel like in the negatives not to mention for a week straight.

Don’t really have any. Don’t do a whole lot for New Years Eve. I guess maybe the year we had my 70 year old grandmother playing Cards Against Humanity and some of the answers she came up with.
@izmom28 It's supposed to get stupid cold here today and the next two days. I say 'stupid cold', but to the rest of the world, it's probably just a normal winter. We're supposed to be in the 20's tonight - which never happens! I don't think anyone here knows how to act - the weathermen are telling people to stay home and not go out tonight lol.

2. How are you feeling this week?
Exhausted. Muscles feel sore. (Around my hips/pelvic cavity/bottom of stomach/bottom of back. I guess just everything stretching out.) Still not really feeling pregnant moat the time (unlike with my son). Feeling full after just a few bites.

It's freakin cold! The low tonight is like -9! (Before windchill). It feels like -7 with windchill right now... I'm over it lol
I can't get confidante and enjoy my pregnancy. It started out with them thinking I was carrying a blighted ovum and then my numbers weren't raising like they should. The nurse was tactless, and said we'd basically have to schedule an emergency appointment after my ultrasound, since my numbers obviously indicated a non viable pregnancy. Well my kid is viable and had a beautiful heartbeat. I just can't get it out of my head though. I hope I can hear the heartbeat on the 23rd so I feel better.

I don't know about best story, but my favorite memory. A few life long child hood friends came over, and we got sufficiently trashed and played ridiculous board games. It was hysterical and my little brother's best friend was SO trashed, that he was entertainment for the night.

I had my appointment on Thursday, and my midwife agreed to use my ovulation date, so I'm now due 8/17. That makes me 7 and 3 today: uncooked macaroni noodle.
2. How are you feeling this week?
Ugh. Nauseous and exhausted. Not even that physically tired, mostly mentally exhausted. Thinking about and doing things is really difficult these days.
3. Rant/Rave
I've been lucky enough to be on vacation since the 20th, but I have to go back to work on the 3rd. I have no idea how I'm going to do it. I'll have to get myself and DS up and ready to go, but I can barely get out of bed in the morning. I know I just need to dig deep and make it happen, but I don't want to... (Okay, I'm done whining.)

The year after we graduated from college, DH and I moved across the country to NYC so he could pursue acting, except we ended up in NJ in a tiny apartment with no jobs. We went home for Christmas, then flew back to NJ on New Year's Eve. We made it back to our apartment in time to buy a $3 bottle of peach champagne from the grocery store. Then we drank our champagne (which was, of course, disgusting) and listened to our neighbors celebrate by blasting mariachi music and letting their kids running screaming down the hall until 4 am. It was memorable, at least.

So nauseated, tired, light headed. So much worse than with my son. At times I wonder if I have a brain tumor rather than pregnancy.

Just dreading how I am going to function back at work this week. I’m a small business owner, so I don’t really have sick leave.

2013 was the best. Just because 2012 was such an awful year personally and professionally. Like 12 solid months of shit. It felt like being paroled to end that year.

3. Rant/Rave New Years while your pregnant is tough. People kept rudely asking if I was pregnant and I was so bored by the time midnight rolled around.
GTKY: I want to heat your best or worst New Years Eve Story Senior year in college my roommates and I went to see Phish NYE in Boston. I was 'under the influence' of all sorts of things and felt so messed up during the show. Then we came home and realized that none of us had keys so we had to crash at a friends apartment that night and all day until we could get a hold of our slum lord. Not my favorite night.

Still sick with the never-ending cold, which totally blows but it seems to be kind of masking the nausea so at least there's that.

I have my first nurse intake appointment on Friday. No ultrasound, nothing really very exciting will happen, but hooray for making it this far! I still can't believe I have to wait until 1/30 for an ultrasound.

Meh, NYE is generally disappointing for me. I always hype it up in my head and hope for some grand Gatsby style party and we just don't live that life. Probably my best NYE was when we got engaged in Chicago (on 12/30/12) and spent the next day basically celebrating that.
