Moving to Phoenix

Hi! We're selling our home and moving to Arizona. Only problem is, we don't have a clue about Phoenix, except we know that we like it, We like the school systems, and housing costs (compared to California). We have done a very short trip to see homes in Chandler, Gilbert and new builds in Queen Creek. Homes anywhere up to $500k, in family friendly neighborhoods and great schools. Any information you can provide is greatly appreciated.

    We just moved to Gilbert from the Chicago area. If you’ll be commuting to Phoenix, it can be 50 minutes to an hour 15, and I’m guessing Queen Creek is a little farther. I love the farmers market and cute little down town of Gilbert. We haven’t been here very long, but there seems to be something to do every weekend, the recreation department has lots of classes, even for little ones.
