  As for your question, a large bottle of wine would sound good to me after carrying twins for 9 months.

  Thanks @charlestonchew.  I did post today, but it's hard for me since I'm having a bit of a different experience than many of the moms to be on the site.

  @nhardler we welcome all kinds of experiences but I totally understand where you’re coming from! We all come from different walks and are supportive. Trust me, no one “gets” my pregnancy but these women have held my hand through the scariest and hardest time of my life and celebrated the little milestones with me. 
  
  I’m seconding wine. Maybe a ring with the birthstone since you know she likes jewelry?

  I like the wine idea!  I know that she used to get cases of specially picked out wine prior to getting pregnant with our little ones!  Thanks!

  I would get her a pregnancy massage to use fairly soon and a case of special wines. I already want more than a bottle. I also like they idea of jewelry with the may birth stone

  I agree with the massage. Carrying one is hard, carrying 2 is extremely difficult. I got a massage a couple months after having my twins and it was amazing. 
  I also think a very personal thank you note would be very sweet and simple.
