WTF Wednesday. DS started throwing up mucus this morning (he's had a common cold for two+ weeks). I have a huge deadline this week (I know, and I'm on the Bump ) so I can't stay home with the kids. DH was super thrilled to have to stay home again, we both missed 11 days in November for a vacation that ended with a week of stomach flu for all of us. UGH I'm just so frustrated! This Wednesday can go eff itself.

This is me today too! My son had strep just a couple weeks ago, and started a coup like cough on Christmas Eve. We took him to the dr yesterday and she wasn't too concerned about the cough but he started vomiting today. I am not sure if the cough and the vomiting are related at this point. It's definitely not the cough that is causing the vomiting (he will be just laying there and then need to throw up), but it could be all of the mucus in his stomach that is upsetting it. It's so frustrating. I hate seeing him sick!!

so i just told my parents the sex of the baby (another boy) and of course they are excited but they didn’t hesitate to ask if we’ll be trying for #3. Uh can i just have this one first?!?!? But no we will not, two is enough for us.
Thanks ladies! I hope your littles all STAY well. I feel like this cold and flu season has been especially rough around here.
@wildtot that is one of my biggest pet peeves! If we have another boy, I know I will start hearing it immediately from family also (and the answer is no. lol). I love the idea of brothers, and being a boy mom! Honestly, this time around, I am totally fine either way. When I was pregnant with DS, I really wanted a boy. This time, I would be fine with a girl. But I would also love another boy.

@stlmegs yeah with DS i wanted a boy for sure but i didn’t really mind either or this time around. But yeah we are going to keep trying for a girl and end up with 10 boys lol.
Why am I sick again?! I mean i know why because ds2 is sick with a cold so iy makes sense that I have now caught it but man. I was sick for a month when i found out i was pregnant and finally got a 2 week break without any illness and now back to it again. Ugh pity party for 1 please!
I hope all of the other little ones that are sick get better soon. It sure is crappy to be sick over the holidays.

wtf to my food aversions, which came back today in full force. My stomach is growling but I cannot think of a single thing to eat that sounds good. I just ordered a salad from our cafe at work because if I'm going to force something down, might as well be healthyish.
@wildtot@stlmegs I know I'll get that same stuff with my fam if I have another boy, especially with my history, I think everyone would be stoked if we had a girl again. Honestly, I'll take anything healthy! But a girl would be sweet, lol.
@wildtot@stlmegs we’re having our second boy and I’ve just been telling everyone we’re not finding out because I don’t want to hear it. We found out through sneak peek and dh keeps telling me that it might not be a boy. Like he doesn’t trust it. We both wanted a girl, but I’m sure this is probably right.

Also wtf to calling my doctor’s office today after much anticipation from finding out they have my NIPT results to be told that the genetic specialist wouldn’t be in until 9, then calling after 9 and finding out she wasn’t there at all today!! Oh well, only one sleep until I find out everything!
I always wanted an armful of boys and being a boy mom! There's nothing wrong with that.
I've had an inkling this one is a girl, so I think I'd be a bit sad if I was wrong.
My WTF is to my underwear. Like I've had these panties for a while now, I've not changed detergent of any kind, same washing machine - and I have the biggest rash on my arse where my underwear was...?
DH has started getting sick this week. So this morning when he woke up he says to touch his forehead because he thinks he has a fever. So when i do and START to say no he doesn’t he lashes out saying i need to stop underplaying it saying he’s not sick. WTF let me finish talking! I get it your sick with a man cold but he doesn’t have a fever. I gave him the thermometer and he rejected it it because he thinks I’m trying to prove myself. No i wasn’t, geez kill me for trying. On the other end I’m over here not telling him I’m getting sick too so he doesn’t think I’m trying to one up him or something. I hate man colds!
Can I just cry now? The genetic counselor from my office is out sick until next week, so I still didn’t get my NIPT results today and won’t until who knows when. I needed to feel some kind of relief today and now I just feel defeated.
@hayhay93 Ugh, that is so frustrating. I'm learning that doctors and other don't see quite the same urgency as we do on these things. I am still waiting on my results from the cell-free fetal DNA test and never got official results from my scan, either. Here's hoping we both get good news before or shortly after the New Year!
