Cracker Candy - a candy thermometer helps get the caramel to the "toffee" state vs chewy

Peppermint Crunch Cookies
Dunk Famous Chocolate Wafers (those flat Nabisco cookies, they come in a yellow package) in melted white chocolate (very carefully - they are fragile), put on wax paper, and sprinkle with crushed candy canes.
White Chocolate Dipped Pretzels - self explanatory
sprinkle with crushed candy canes or sprinkles before the chocolate dries
Oreo Balls
Crush a package of oreos in a food processor and then blend in a block of cream cheese. Scoop and roll into balls. Freeze for a while. Dip in melted white chocolate. Top with sprinkles, crushed candy canes, or oreo crumbs.

I also go pie and cookie crazy around the holidays. No specific recipes except Crack Pie and these white chocolate blueberry oatmeal cookies. (Sounds weird but they're reallllly good.)
My favorite holiday snacks:
Puppy chow: chex cereal coated in chocolate, peanut butter and powdered sugar. https://www.geniuskitchen.com/recipe/puppy-chow-or-monkey-munch-74048
Buckeyes: peanut butter/powdered sugar balls dipped in chocolate. https://www.geniuskitchen.com/recipe/best-ever-buckeyes-16716
Lebkuchen: German glazed molasses/ginger cookies. A little more labor intensive than the first two but I love love love lebkuchen! https://www.foodandwine.com/recipes/lebkuchen-jeffrey-morgenthaler
I just made this at Thanksgiving to go with my Oreo pumpkin pie and it will be making a second appearance at Christmas this year because baby definitely approved.
White Chocolate Cranberry Biscotti ( I use almonds instead of pistachios) so good! https://www.foodnetwork.com/recipes/giada-de-laurentiis/holiday-biscotti-recipe4-2011223.amp
I use Glühwein (German mulled Christmas wine), and press a half of a maraschino cherry into the top of each cookie.

I make apple doodle cookies for holiday swaps because they're still festive, but aren't chocolate or peppermint or very rich, so they can stand out a bit. My recipe is hand written and at home, but it looks almost identical to this one. Always a hit!:

Every year I make pecan puffs from the Joy of Cooking. My family requests them. They're awesome if you don't like things too sweet (optional to roll them in powdered sugar), and they have no egg (I have a family member with an allergy). The recipe said to make forty 1.5 inch balls. I like them smaller.
Reindeer Food was already shared. One day I'll proofread before posting ladies. Thank you @ksmwalters
There are lots of places to find the recipe but here’s one:

**Edited because half of my post disappeared.
This recipe isn't exactly the one my dad makes, but it is very similar.
