My husband's main gift is going to be late, but apparently my main gift is too

...It's a on the go kuerig coffee cup. You can literally make the cup of coffee in a to go style stainless steel cup. Since he goes on so many work trips, and hotel coffee sucks, I used that as my theme this year for his gifts.

I'm so excited to give my husband his new snowboarding boots. I couldn't decide on what to get him this year and his boots looked a little shabby. Yesterday after he went snowboarding, he said he needed new boots because his were basically garbage. I told him that we couldn't afford it right now because of Christmas

@eleven_ yay! Thats awesome!!!! I got mh a google home mini and alnost spilled the beans last weekend cause he was looking at them at target and exclaimed how cool getting one would be and that we shpuld totally look into it after christmas

We got our best Christmas present already! We went to pick up our new pupper today! She's a 4-year-old Anatolian Shepherd.

Other than Queenie, I'm most excited for MH to open up his new electric razor since he's been complaining about his current one for almost two years now!

i spent way too much money on mh this year. I was done and then he convinced me to go with him doing some last minute shopping. I ended up buying 2-3 more presents for him.

Im so excited for my two year old to open his gifts. He loves Paw Patrol so we got him all Paw Patrol items (cups, bath toys, books, coloring books). He so cute because he’ll say things like. “Mommy dis my Pawtrol cup?”

MH lost his wedding ring in the lake this summer. I got him a silicone ring for Christmas. Not a huge deal, but last night he was looking online at the rings!! I’m so happy that I got him something he was thinking about buying for himself.

@blackhottamales I have heard of/known so many men losing rings. Yet, only one female. The silicone rings are pretty cool, IMO.

@jrm_14 the thing I’m excited about is the Red Bull racing jersey I got for him to wear when we go on our trip and he gets to go to the Barcelona Grand Prix. It’s something he probably wouldn’t have bought himself but will definitely use.

@jrm_14 - I just bought my first pair because I have been eyeing them for awhile. The last two periods I've had have been atrocious because it's been 70+ days in between (and the next one is going to be the same). I literally can't keep up with my flow the first 3 days, so I really want to try these out. I'll let you know what I think in about 2 weeks!

TW: talking about deceased friend

So yesterday was hard. H & I spent last Christmas Eve with our friend who died in July. It was wonderful memories. Video games, laughter, lots of alcohol, and 2AM spaghetti making. What got me is that we spoke about always spending Chrustmas Eve together and making spaghetti. On the happy side I woke up to a message from his sister asking for our address for a belated Christmas card from them including a photo of our friend.

Anyway remember to hug your loved ones extra tight today and have a very Merry Christmas!

@pebbledam oooh congrats on the new dog!
Currently we’re sitting on the sofa at my parents and their beagle is spread eagled out across DH.
DH this is, who is normally of the “animals shouldn’t be allowed on the furniture” opinion...
I think my chances of having a dog next year are improving ;-)

Random question for the board: is there a reason that EDD or BMB is not a field in the Grad thread? Sorry if this had been discussed or is an obvious answer

@spottedginger - I think it's because you don't get an official EDD until you have your first u/s. And some people fall on the cusp of a month, so they might switch if they fit in better with a different BMB.

ETA - There is a spot to put EDD and BMB on the monthly grad check-in, though!
