Feeling good. In that weird stage if having no symptoms and not feeling movement so I don't really feel all the pregnant. In certain clothes, I am rocking a bump though!

Any upcoming appointments? I think my next appt is the second week of January. STM brain....But we did get back our Counsyl results and everything was negative. Such a relief after finding the NT was increased. The next step is a "level II" anatomy scan at 20 weeks. This will take extra measurements of the heart. Nothing we can do about it until then. For some reason, I am not as worried about the heart. So many congenital defects resolve with age or can be fixed with surgery. But we will cross that bridge when we get there.

Any fun plans for the next week? After today, I have the next 5 days off. Really excited to sleep a little and spend time with the family, especially DH and DS.

How have your family/friends/coworkers been reacting to your announcement? Everyone is really excited. Some know about our struggle, some don't but everyone has been great! We don't find out the sex until birth and some people have funny reactions to that.Same happened with our first. Some people were personally offended by it which I find hilarious.

I'm managing at this point, which I think is good.  Still on dicelgis, and still exhausted.  I'm ready for the second tri.

    Any upcoming appointments?
    Not until January.  Boo.

Any fun plans for the next week?
I think we have a pretty tame break for once.  I'm going to the dentist for the first time in YEARS, hopefully meeting up with some friends, and then spending new years at my dads.  I'm not looking forward to having to sleep in a room with my toddler, but it'll be nice to see them.

Everyone is excited!  It is definitely not a secret anymore, which is nice.  I can finally flaunt the bump!

  • 1. I’m feeling ok for the most part. Still some
lingering nausea and food aversions. I can’t open the fridge without gagging which DH finds hilarious.
I did have some spotting this week. I went to get checked out and they said it’s old blood. My cervix is still closed and baby looks good. But I about had a mental breakdown over it.
    2. No appt until mid January :-(
    3. We don’t have any plans for this week. We live overseas so it’s just us for the holidays. I think on Christmas we will have a Doctor Who Christmas special marathon which I am
    excited about.
    4. The reaction to our announcement was very good. Most people know of our loss and were very happy to hear about our rainbow baby.

  • @courtyowl427 yay for the good results!

How are you feeling? Any symptoms, old or new?
I still feel like crap. 14 weeks tomorrow and hoping this sickness lets up soon because I'm over it. Not as exhausted anymore though.

    Any upcoming appointments?
Early anatomy scan with maternal fetal medicine on January 3! I had complications my last pregnancy so fingers crossed everything looks good.

Any fun plans for the next week?
    Just Christmas stuff.

How have your family/friends/coworkers been reacting to your announcement? (Hopefully all good!)
Everyone is really happy and excited!
  • I just realized I never posted my responses after I started the thread. Pregnant brain fart!

Symptoms: Not many, which is both nice and unnerving. I get sleepy earlier in the evening and I don't have as much energy during the day but that's it. No food aversions or nausea, not many cravings lately either.

Upcoming appointments: I have my 16 week appointment scheduled for next Friday, and then after that the anatomy scan is on the 30th! All fingers and toes are crossed that this baby is perfectly healthy! And as far as the sex, last time my husband and I thought we were having a boy and we were both wrong. This time I feel like it's a boy and hubby says girl so we shall see who is right, after making sure baby is healthy!

Plans: We spent Christmas in Miami with my family which was awesome. We came back with way more stuff than we left with though, mainly all for my daughter. She's the only grandkid on my side so she's somewhat spoiled lol. Now we are just looking forward to the short week and long weekend!

Reactions: We told our families on Christmas day and everyone was super excited. My dad said he had been wondering if we ever planned on having another one.

  • @courtyowl427 Yay for good results! Fingers crossed the anatomy scan goes just as well. Hope you enjoyed your days off!

@sunshineandwhiskey Yaaass flaunt that bump! Lol and I hear you about having to share a room with a toddler, my husband and  I have to do the same every time we visit my folks. We make it work lol.

@profmcgonagall Hoping you don't have any more scares, big or small, for the rest of your pregnancy!

@lrichhx05 Fingers crossed you feel better soon and the anatomy scan goes well, don't forget to update us!
