1) How far along are you? How big is baby? 37w, tackle box
2) How are you feeling? Got a slight burst of energy this morning so I'm trying to get a few things checked off my list-otherwise, I'm so uncomfortable and just so ready to be done.
3) Any appointments this week/last? 36w appt was Tuesday with GBS swab (negative!) and a cervical check due to irregular contractions which apparently aren't doing anything. 37w appt is this Tuesday.
4) How are baby preparations going? Slim to none still.
5) Rants/Raves/Questions? Still hoping beyond hope for a 2017 baby (I'll be 38w on the 30th) but I'm feeling pretty pessimistic. I only went to 38w with DD because I was induced, so I'm really unprepared for anything beyond that.
6) GTKY: Who are you inviting to be with you during labor and/or at delivery? Any other visitor rules for your hospital stay or early days back home? Just DH. He was amazing last time and I don't need anyone else besides the medical professionals. As far as the hospital, any friends and family are welcome as long as they aren't sick. After we get home, we have asked for no visitors for the first couple days so we can adjust to a family of 4. After that, my ILs will be taking DD on outings every once in awhile to get her out of the apartment. I just need to stress with everyone how important it is that they stay away if they aren't feeling well! I'm so nervous for a winter baby who can't get any shots!

37 weeks, romaine lettuce
2) How are you feeling?
Pretty good! My back and pubic bone only bother me when I first stand up or when I need to change positions on the couch or in bed and I haven't had much other discomfort.
3) Any appointments this week/last?
Had one earlier this week and it went well. Next week my OB will do my first cervical check.
4) How are baby preparations going?
Pretty much done. Car seat is sort of installed, hospital bag is 90% packed, and I think this weekend we'll finish the baby laundry and check all of the pacifier/bottle nipples and sanitize everything and put it away.

6) GTKY: Who are you inviting to be with you during labor and/or at delivery? Any other visitor rules for your hospital stay or early days back home?
Just DH. My mom will hop a flight soon after I'm in labor but DH will be the only one around during labor and delivery. Visitors are welcome to the hospital after the day after (as long as they aren't sick) but we probably won't have many people over to the house other than my mom who will stay with us for a few days before she heads home. DH's parents will come down to visit whenever we let them know that we're ready (assuming they're not still here when she comes; not sure when they head back up after the holidays).

2) How are you feeling?
Stressed and sick. We close on our house this coming Wednesday (as long as everything goes right) and I've had a slight cold for the last week. Our lender keeps changing things last minute and its driving me insane!
3) Any appointments this week/last?
Last week I think? Nothing major but my next is Wednesday morning before closing haha
4) How are baby preparations going?
Ha. Step one is paint Levi's room when we get keys to the new house because its currently lilac with gold polkadots haha. Rightafter our shower all the baby things immediately got packed up so that it was one less thing for me to procrastinate about
5) Rants/Raves/Questions?
Being pregnant and sick is dumb. So is closing on a house 2 days after Christmas. We literally skipped all things jolly this year in preparation haha
Rave on the other hand; my mom told me a few days ago she had 4 cigarettes left then she was done. She knows how crazy I am about that sort of stuff and she said she's been trying to quit for some time but she was struggling living with my aunt who's husband smokes. Here none of us do so its been easier for her to cut back. She just said she doesn't want to have any tension between us since she knows how crazy I'll be about washing up before touching the baby. I'm hoping she makes it and I'm really proud of her!
6) GTKY: Who are you inviting to be with you during labor and/or at delivery? Any other visitor rules for your hospital stay or early days back home?
DH is the only one invited in. One of my very best friends works in L&D and I've requested her if she's working while I'm there but afterwards I know my mom will be in to visit as she's been here visiting since December 1st to help with packing and baby shower and staying though his birth. I'm reminding my in-laws that in my MIL is sick in anyway she CAN NOT visit. Unfortunate but it is what it is. Friends are welcome as well (again as long as no one is sick) though I'm hoping to only be in the hospital a short while.
