Hello all Yesterday i had my secnd doppler scan done n my fluid seems to have eeduced further; from 7cm to now 6.3cm. Gyn said, baby is 2.90 kg n sm part of his brain is not geting enough blood supply. I hvnt felt relaxed since last week whn it was frst informed to me. N ths week it more frightening to knw it has dropped further. Gyn has told me to wait for another week so i have finished 36 weeks n she will run the scan again n take a call if i shd be induced or operated. It is scarry. Its my first baby n m terrified at how things are goin. I feel he is moving jst normal throughout the day, sometimes a little too much n sometime mild but he moves entired day n movements feel stronger enough sometime to cause discomfrt to me. Yestdy at the clinic i met a lady whose put me more on stress by sayin, ths movemnt could b a result of his discomfrt due to suffocation as ur water is low. Can anyone advise me on this. M jst tooo too worried
First OP I barely understand any of this-if I read your text speech post right, you're dealing with low AFI? None of us here are doctors and can't give you any medical advice. You need to talk to your OB about this. There isn't much you can do if you do in fact have low AFI-it mostly has to do with how baby is urinating and taking in the fluid, which isn't something you can control.
I understand you are concerned and I wish all the best to you and your baby. This January community has been together since May and we've all been here supporting each other for months. It's a little hard to give support when someone who has no replies and has posted 2 discussions here jumps in with a post like this. If you'd like to stick around and get to know us better, please feel free. But questions like this really need to be discussed with a medical professional.
