AFM, it's mainly just Christmas stress LOL! I'm hosting this year so I still have to go grocery shopping to get everything I need. Tomorrow morning I pick up the turkey from a local farm which I will brine all weekend (yummy!). And DH and I are going to have a massive cleaning party 'cause lord knows my mom will be looking at the state of my baseboards when she's over on Monday......

@tosh24 I have to go grocery shopping soon too! That turkey sounds amazing, though- I’m sure it will come out great
I’m so glad my parents are generally good guests, because I’m feeling the BSC *hard* right now and I don’t think I could handle toxic relatives this weekend. Also on the plus side, I get to go to my friend’s house on Christmas Eve- he’s a professional event planner and his get togethers are always a blast!
Tonight my parents have DD so we are going on a date night and finally seeing bad moms. I have to wrap gifts today, bake some cookies and go over some xmas music for a service I'm playing at.
Saturday is with my ILs for lunch and then dress rehearsal for sunday service
Sunday is with my parents and then xmas eve service that night. Also my car has a coolant leak so we need to get it fixed.
We are no longer hosting holidays. My DH got mad at his family after they screwed thanksgiving up the past two years so he said no more. So my SIL is hosting it tomorrow and we just have to take an appetizer. Shopping is done and gifts are wrapped so really we have nothing else except enjoying the days
vlagrl29 FYI, I heard that Bad Moms was an awful movie. Mack2342 Less stress for you if you don't have to clean the house and do all the prep-work for a major holiday ordeal at your house! We host Thanksgiving, which I love. But being able to travel for Christmas and not have to prep/plan all the food and cleaning is awesome!
We're driving to my parents house tonight to stay until Christmas morning when we'll be going to DH's parents. Seeing Star Wars (again) but in IMAX 3D on Saturday with my sister and fam, so that should be nice. I'm honestly just looking forward to some time off of work and hopefully doing some relaxing things!

I just booked a funeral for next week wens playing background music. $200 going straight to RE fund. Now at $1,100 - oh how I really wish I could put that money somewhere else lol.

@Mack2342 and @vlagrl29 ah crap, being sick sucks any time of year but it sucks even more over the holidays. Hopefully you can both kick back and relax a bit at least. We don't have too much going on over the holidays. We're heading to see my dad and his new gf on Christmas Eve until boxing day but that's about it. I have to say, I'm not really in the Christmas mood much this year. I'm sure my last year of 3 losses hasn't helped with my mood. I'm going to go pour myself a fireball and eggnog and hopefully kick this bah humbug attitude. Happy holidays to everyone here, my Christmas wish is for every single one of you to get knocked up!
I hope everyone has a great Christmas, I know the holidays are hard for all of us

Hope everyone had a nice weekend! My brother left yesterday, and my mom is heading out today, so I've got to get her over to the airport, and then get the dogs to the vet before my vacation ends. I came down with something too @Mack2342 so I hope were both feeling better soon!
@vlagrl29 I’m not sure. Had follow up today. He said that they took fetal tissue and placenta when they did d & c but when lab did testing the sample they took from specimen didn’t contain any fetal tissue so that is why they are doing a 2nd test. He gave me a script for bloodwork to see if there is clotting disorder and is checking a few other things as well. So I’m hoping to get those results in a couple of weeks and then we will decide. He said the chances of miscarriage for my age is like 40%! I didn’t realize it was that high. I knew higher but didn’t think it was that high
Mack2342 So sorry that the test was inconclusive. I hope the second test gives you more answers. Also, woah to the high MC rate! I didn't realize it was that high either!
