Feeding Poll

I was just wondering how much other preemies are eating? I always worry that Ruby isn't eating enough, mostly because I keep thinking she'll start eating more as she grows, which I realize isn't always the case. But based on her appointments with the pediatrician, she is growing fantastically!

So I'm just wondering how much others are eating, just for fun:

1) How many ounces of breastmilk/formula does your DC eat in a 24 hour period?

2) Any solids?

3) Age and Weight

1) 24 ounces

2) We've just started solids, so only a few bites a day so far.

3) 6 months actual/4 months adjusted/ 13 pounds

1 about 32 oz. 4oz every three hours

1 - 4 bottles at 6oz and 1 bottle at 8oz

1. I EBF so I am not sure ounces but he nurses 6-7 times a day

2. We began at 5 months w/ just rice and then everything else at 6 months. He started on Yogurt and Cheese this week and loves them although he still prefers to nurse

3. 8 months- 9lbs, 14 oz at RSV weigh in on the 5th

1. it's hard to tell because she's BFd, but I would guess around 20oz

2. 3 meals a day... I'm shooting for about 150 calories a meal

3. 10 months (on wed) 13lb 6oz. TINY!

1. He's EBF but I am guessing between 24-32 oz. (3-4 oz/feed)

2. We get to try solids at 5 months.

3. 4 months actual, almost 6 weeks adjusted, 9 lbs. 4.5 oz.

1. *sigh* The last few days it's been like 17. Usually more like 19. I wish it was 20. (I aim for just over 2oz/lb/day.)

2) Cereal or avocado once a day.

3) 7mo actual, 4mo adj, 9lb 9oz. (SUPER TINY.)

1. As of Saturday he has been taking 24-28 ounces a day. He gets 7 bottles a day and has been taking 4 ounces for most of them although some he takes 3 or 3 1/2.

2.I had Brandon at the pediatrician on Friday for his reflux. She said we could start cereal but I am waiting to talk to the pediatrician that we normally see in the group on Thursday at his well visit to confirm that this is ok. He is 6 months actual, 3 months corrected.

3. He is 6 months actual, 3 months corrected. He weighed 12 pounds, 8 ounces last Thursday at the cardiologist so I am guessing he is closer to 13 pounds now. I will find out on Thursday.

1) How many ounces of breastmilk/formula does your DC eat in a 24 hour period? 21-24 oz and he just started that. It is breastmilk so I don't think they eat as much as a FF baby?!

2) Any solids? No solid

3) Age and Weight 4 months 1 week! so 2.5 months adj I think. 11lbs 12oz. which I thought was small but I guess he is doing good.

rice cereal once a day - about 1 oz (I make it REALLY thick)

1) I'm not sure cause he's BF, but on the rare we do give him a bottle, about 3 ounces, but that's probably less just because he does't like the bottle.

2) We started him on 1 tbsp of rice cereal for bed at his 5 mo appointment.
