TTC After a Loss

Sadly I’m back

i went in last week for US and should have been 6 wks but only measured 5w1d.  RE said we had 50/50 chance went in today and still only measured 5w4d.  Just an empty sac.  Not really sure where we go from here.  Scheduled d & c for Tuesday and RE hoping to be able to test tissue but unsure if he will be able to.  I also had blood clot which I had last MC so he said he will check fo clotting disorder but has to wait for hormones to settle back down. If there is something to the clotting issue I think we will try again but otherwise I’m not sure.  Just not sure how many more I can go through

No No No :( Oh, @Mack2342, I absolutely did not want to see you back here and I am so sorry that you've had to endure the heartache of another loss. Not that I want any issues to be found, but I hope that if a clotting disorder is contributing to the SIF and losses, it is a relatively easy fix and you will have a successful pregnancy once you are treating it. Please be kind and gentle with yourself. You are in my thoughts. (((hugs)))

So sorry for your loss. I’m also new, but it looks like you are loved by so many “internet strangers,” so know that you have a few more thinking of you. Hopefully they can find the cause and treat it.

@cassafrass15 and @honeybeebub thank you. I’m home today recovering from d & c.  Physically I’m ok emotionally is another story but I’m hanging in there and I know that things will get better.

@Mack2342 What have they tested you for clotting - wise? I had to take baby aspirin during pregnancy and DDAVP during / after delivery to make sure my levels were right. I had signs of APLS, but we ultimately defaulted back to my original diagnosis of Von Willebrand disease with ITP added. Let me know if you need any info.
It's funny how it's the little things in life that mean the most...not where you live, or what you drive, or the price tag on your clothes... There's no dollar sign on a piece of mind, this I've come to know! *ZBB*

@NYTino24 thanks.  RE never tested for anything I have a 2 yr old with a text book pregnancy.  My first loss was before my LOs first birthday and they assumed chromosomal.  I was also over 40.   We went to see RE bc it was taking too long to get KU after that loss.  They only checked my egg reserve at that time since I had recently been pregnant with healthy boy.   Just after consult I found out I was KU again and that is when they saw blood clot.    At that time he said it’s normal and body should absorb it which it did but still resulted in loss.  Used medicated IUI cycles this last time and also saw blood clot which did not absorb so he will test for clotting disorder this time.  We are unsure if we will continue trying at this point.  It depends on genetic testing and clotting testing.

I'm new too... but I just wanted to say I'm so sorry for your loss. FWIW they were able to test the tissue after a D&C for my first loss around the same GA.
