We found out from our NIPT screening that the test came back positive for Trisomy 13 (a chromosomal abnormality that is "incompatible with life"). We had a follow-up ultrasound today and had planned to potentially do a CVS test, worried that we would have to make the tough decision to terminate. But, it was out of our hands. The baby didn't progress past 10 1/2 weeks and had no heartbeat. Having the D&C on Friday, my first surgical procedure ever.
I know there will be good in the future, but of course right now it's devastating. Just wanted to send so much love and support to all you June 2018 moms. You have been a great group to be a part of.
