Rants/Raves/Questions? Why is the time dragging so slowly?! I just want to go meet this doctor already!!
How are you doing? Doing okay. We are in our slow season at work so the days have been dragging. Especially since we have to track all our time...I am ready for tax season to start because I like the busy season.
GTKY: What fad or trend do you hope comes back? Hmmm. I like that the boyfriend shirt trend is back. I like looser clothing and didn't like the whole everything is skintight trend going on lately.
Any appointments coming up? Nothing until 1/5. I had my AS and my regular OB appointment last week. We were very relieved that the AS went well. DH has VSD and so the AS determines if we need to have a follow up fetal echocardiogram and if we need to deliver at a hospital with a specialist. Baby Girl's heart looks great and we don't need to have any follow-ups on it.
Rants/Raves/Questions? Rant- I don't want to clean my house for everyone to come over for Hanukkah tonight. I am also a little sad I can't drink because my nephews stress me out when they come over and I am worried about how to handle my anxiety about them trashing everything the minute they walk in the door.
Rave- Tomorrow my cleaning lady comes and I only have two more days of work until winter break!
Question- Ideas on how to help avoid leg cramps? Those have started...
How are you doing? I feel okay emotionally. I am a little nervous about our flight and trip next week being pregnant. Physically, I am still stuck in my new normal of feeling perpetually hungover.
GTKY: What fad or trend do you hope comes back? I wish boot cut/flare jeans would come back into style. I like skinny jeans, but they aren't the greatest looks for me, being 5'1" and having huge hips/ a big booty.

Got my first nosebleed yesterday ugh. I hope it doesn't keep happening as I know it can be a common pregnancy symptom.
Still have managed to hide my small bump at work. I told 1 colleague and she was shocked and couldn't believe I was 18 weeks. So that made me feel good....and then suddenly bad because I was worried my bump was too small and growing. Wish I didn't have to stress about everything!!!
Anyone else nervous or was nervous about their AS?

Hmmm....I don't know but I want certain trends to die. Like the contouring obsession.

@babys_2018I'm so nervous for my AS. With DS that's when we started finding out some of the complications. He's all good now, but the pregnancy itself was tough. And then I lost the second baby early on in the pregnancy. I just want to hear that everything is peachy with this one so I can relax a little bit.

@mileswithmyles I'm so glad your baby girl's heart looks good, that's wonderful. Are you nervous about the flight because you've still been so sick?
@babys_2018 I've had a few nosebleeds so far too. I'm just glad none of them have been at work in front of my patients!
@theletlers Is your AS tomorrow or is it just a regular appt? Is that the source of your poor mindset lately? I'm sorry, that's hard. I'll be thinking of you guys.

My husband felt LO moving around in my belly last night, which was such a cool moment. I was thinking last night how I thought the first 20 weeks of this pregnancy have taken foreeeeever, but now I'm starting to think that the next 20 will take even longer... I feel like January & February are always the slowest months of the year so I feel like time is really going to inch by. Rave - We are going to TN to see my family this Sunday - Wednesday and I am so excited to see everyone and all my little nieces and nephews.

Rants/Raves/Questions? I started having pelvic pain in the past couple weeks. It really started after a day that I had walked around a lot. It's not too painful, just annoying right now. I feel like it's too early for this, but some friends who have had two babies said that it came on earlier with their seconds. Anyone else?

@rachelg777 tomorrow is just a general check up. No AS until January unfortunately. That's so awesome that YH could feel some movement!! I made mine sit the other night holding my belly but he couldn't feel anything.
@sparklingdiamond the best of luck tomorrow. I hope the appointment goes well and the doctors in FL are awesome and can answer lots of questions!

Standard 16 week appointment was Tuesday, heard the heartbeat so on to January and waiting to hear when our AS will be scheduled.

I had a minor freakout about none of my clothes fitting this morning, but then realized that I have no maternity clothes and have been SQUEEZING into all of my regular clothes. Looks like I have to break down and buy some.
Question- do you ever feel so bloated that it's uncomfortable to breathe? I feel like mu bloat pushes up on my diaphragm. So uncomfortable.

@mileswithmyles Do you have a muscle roller? It has changed my life this pg! I was having excruciating tight muscles. Your lactic acid isn't flushing as well. You workout a lot so it's prob why you are in pain too. I watched some yutube videos and there are awesome....search foam roller pregnancy. Here is one I love:
babys_2018 I hid my bump as well until about 20 weeks. (after our anatomy scan) . And now I wear cardigans and it peaks out a little but I am not ready to have it all in the open. I totally get how you're feeling.
@rachelg777 I was actually thinking the same thing about the next 19 weeks as well. I feel like once the days start getting a little longer I might not be as blah about things.
@GeekBeagle This IS really happening! I am right there with you. I was staring at my anatomy scan photos and finally realizing there is a tiny human in me.
