I was curious if anyone else is here with August babies who is LBT (Lesbian, Bisexual, Transgender)? My wife and I have been wanting a baby for the past three years trying to navigate all the hurdles and costly procedures. We finally did it! I was hoping to hear your stories of your journey?
For us, we initially did an IUI with a midwife. However that was very costly. When we were finacially okay again this last month, we wanted to be private- no strangers. We ordered through Northwest Cryobank (no photo, but much cheaper):which did not require a phsyicans signature (near impossible to find anyways). Then we just did IVI at home with the tools (syringe) provided by the sperm bank. We also asked a friend and my brother in law previously, which while they wanted to, the means never seemed possible. Its been quite the journey already, but this baby is going to be so loved.
