1) Which day is your due date?

    1) Which day is your due date? Due Feb 1. I should start taking bets on if I pop early, but no indication from doc anything will be early yet.
    2) How are you feeling? Pretty good overall. Sleeping is getting harder though.
    3) Any appointments this week? 2 MFM and OB. I need to bring their office staff cookies or something, I see them so often lol. 
    4) Rants/Raves/Questions? So with about 7 weeks left, is it too soon to start packing a hospital bag? 
    5) GTKY: What present on your wishlist are you hoping most to get? Anything weird you asked for?     We say we're skipping gifts this year, but we'll see haha. I've been eyeing an Instant Pot since my bestie swears by it. Anyone have an opinion on it? Worth it?

    2) How are you feeling? Tired - pregnancy insomnia has really kicked in making it hard to sleep. 
    3) Any appointments this week? Just had it today.

    no major presents on wish list, just looking forward to having our home ready and we plan to complete the nursery after the holidays.
    @clc515 Never used an Instant Pot so can't really help. As far as hospital bag packing - no I don't think it's too early. You'd be glad if you went early and had it ready.

    2/2 Or 1/31 depending on if I'm talking to the ultra sound department or the ob's

    2) How are you feeling? 
    Good! Although I'm starting to get irritated at people by 5pm every day. 

    3) Any appointments this week? Yep ob check up today. 

    4) Rants/Raves/Questions? 
     Rave:All of the drywall is finally up inn my dining room!
     Rant: why do the old ladies at church think its okay to tell me I'm not going to make it to my due date? I know I'm huge,  but no one wants an early baby!
    5) GTKY: What present on your wishlist are you hoping most to get?
    I asked for baby stuff. But mostly i just want no arguing from the kids Christmas morning. And my mom to not protest Christmas.  You know a nice "normal" Christmas! Lol

    Anything weird you asked for?

    2/1 but c section scheduled for 1/22

    2) How are you feeling? 

    Im nesting so I have a surge of energy! Let’s see how long this lasts!

    3) Any appointments this week? 

    Physcial therapy and weekly check in with my OB. I cut salt out of my diet so we are hoping we don’t see signs of blood pressure problems.

    4) Rants/Raves/Questions? 

    Starting to put put things away and pack the hospital bag is so exciting. I’ve been dreaming of meeting this baby and I can’t wait! 

    5) GTKY: What present on your wishlist are you hoping most to get? Anything weird you asked for?

    there is a ring I was looking at on my phone. I went to check something on DH’s phone and he had the same ring saved to his phone. Then he got an invitation from his Jewler in the mail because he has bought all my jewelry from this guy and he’s offering him a discount if he wanted to get me a Christmas gift. I really want this ring but i could also get a comfy robe and i’d be just as happy!

    Feeling great. Starting to get a little uncomfortable, but have homestly had such a great pregnancy. Can’t complain:)
    3) Any appointments this week?
    32 week check im with the midwife today (even though i am 32w5d) 
    4) Rants/Raves/Questions? 
    Anyone else having a hard time balancing Christmas and buying the remainder of necessary baby items? Trying to decide what can wait for after baby is born. Items we still need are carseat (not waiting to buy that one ;), stroller, bottles (which i hopefully wont be introducing until 3+ weeks), monitor, and baby carrier.
    5) GTKY: What present on your wishlist are you hoping most to get? Anything weird you asked for?
    I asked for a kitchenaide mixer and a necklace with LOs name on it. But I’m with @mamaof5already i want all the rest of the baby stuff. Oh! And nursing bras!

    Since my scheduled c-section is on 2/1 (due date was 2/9) I figured I would join in over here!


    1) Which day is your due date?  2/9 but having a scheduled c-section on 2/1.
    2) How are you feeling? I'm ok.  I've had a head cold which is kicking my butt.  
    3) Any appointments this week? No I saw them last week. I go back next Tuesday for 32 week check. I’ve been feeling really swollen down there so I had them check for yeast and UTI and nothing was wrong so I guess I just have to deal with a swollen labia  :s 
    4) Rants/Raves/Questions? Anyone have a diaper backpack they like? I had a fancy Coach tote last time and it was not what I want to use this time around cuz it constantly slipped off my shoulder.  I’m freaked out by the idea of being in a parking lot with a slipping diaper bag (that’s probably overflowing with shit) with an infant and 5 year old who needs a lot of reminders to hold my hand and be careful. Backpack seems to make sense. 
    5) GTKY: What present on your wishlist are you hoping most to get? Anything weird you asked for?     I don’t even know if we are exchanging gifts? I asked DH and he was vague. We both got iPhone X last month so that was sort of a big spend. But then DH started asking for a new watch band so I don’t know.  I’ve been focused on buying baby stuff. 

    @clc515 I started a hospital bag! My mom got me a robe that’s already in there and I bought a couple toiletry items and put them in there. It’s more of a half assed effort but I feel better having it started. 

    @nightnurse92 yeah I’ve had the same problem! I’ve been looking at baby stuff so long that Christmas seems secondary.

    @Megzb510 We used this diaper backpack for my son. It's a tactical diaper bag and my husband bought a 'bio-hazardous waste" patch to stick on it cause he's funny like that. It was a serious godsend when we went places like Disney and on a cruise. I actually prefer using the two-strap backpack to anything else cause it doesn't slip off and I feel like weight is evenly distributed. One of us wore the backpack and the other one wore the baby  :)

     We got this one for our shower. Put it on the registry based on the reviews. Haven't used it yet so can't say for how awesome it is. It's primarily for DH since I've been using a diaper bag from Kate Spade as my laptop bag for like 2 years and I love it lol.
