@ShawnnaO noticed that too...and I kinda wait with popcorn for others to start posting on those drive bys but I've been impressed that some have just been left alone.
My OB just called and I failed my 1 hour glucose test I thought I was in the clear because my online result said I got 136 with a cutoff of 140. They told me they actually cut it off at 130/135. Hello 3 hour on Friday. @crossfitbabybump did I miss your update or are you still waiting on your 3 hour result?

I have mine next Tuesday. It’ll be a walk in and I can go in as early as 7, so I’m considering just getting up in the morning and heading right over. I was told the only thing I could eat before hand was eggs and bacon, which I don’t like, so I might as well just get it over with.
So i’m at a local cafe this morning and order a coffee with milk and sugar (cafe con leche) and the woman who made it said she made it more mild for me because “the baby doesn’t need that much caffeine.” I wasn’t sure how to take this, like on the one hand, nice of her to be considerate, but I am adult enough to make sure I’m not exceeding my daily caffeine allowance, sooo...?!
Side note - I’ve known her for a while as she’s worked in this cafe right near my office for years. So I’m leaning toward she was just being considerate, but still!
Oh shit we have two randoms which is my fault - I somehow missed @becausescience's thread. I'll change to Weekly Questions. Edited b/c we also already have Weekly Questions. What do I change it to?!

@JBcakes08 sorry to hear! I’ve heard many who don’t pass the one hour have no problem with the three hour.
@ShawnnaO my dr told me last week to have a few plain hard boiled eggs in the morning, which I guess sounds better than no food all that time. I’ve been having a difficult time finding an appt. for 7 am, maybe I should just walk in!
@ShawnnaO@JBcakes08 - Hi ladies! I had mine Saturday and it sucked! I haven't heard back yet but I have an apt first thing tomorrow morning so I'm assuming she'll go over the results with me then? My 1 hr I failed by 26 points - should be no more than 130 she said. I scored a 156. The first hour of the 3 hour was very similar to the 1 hr, in the way that I felt. But by hour two and three I felt better and was just HUNGRY!
I'm sorry you failed Good luck with the 3 hour and let us know how it goes!!!
Well since this thread is now turned into the MBF, I guess I'll be the first to vent! I know this is stupid, but just humor me and pretend you care.
I fell in love with the cutest hand-made mobile on Etsy a few weeks ago. It was more than I'd spend on a mobile, but I just love it so much and decided to put it on our registry in the hopes that someone else with extra money would be a sucker for an adorable elephant mobile too. At the time I added it to our registry, the expected ship time was 9 weeks because her shop is in high demand. I just looked at it again randomly, and now the shop is "on a break." NOOOOOO! I'm so sad. Picture in spoiler so you all can be just as sad as I am that I won't be getting my dream mobile.
My MBF is for my own lower back. Started getting mild lower back pain last week, so I switched to flats from heels at work, and didn't add in any stretches or anything. Now today there's striking pain when I walk and a constant dull ache when I sit. Well done, me.
@JBcakes08@ashleyf911 I'm surprised how varied/low the cutoff can be for glucose tests. My office has the cutoff of 135, my friend's office had 145, so yours being 130 seems strikingly low. Sorry you have to sit through the long test, but hopefully it's nothing... just a crazy low cutoff!
I guess my second MBF is that I took the glucose test last Thursday at 8am and am still waiting for results from the doctor. I'm hoping radio silence means good news.
My sister might be able to attempt it, but I know she's busy so I don't think I'll ask her. I did sign up for an email when the shop opens again. The baby won't even be sleeping in its crib for several months, so I can wait this out! I just need to set the money aside for it now while I still have a paycheck ha
My MBf is my ribs. I messed them up coughing really hard and they aren't healing very quickly. DH said the muscles are super tight and is bringing rock tape home tonight to try to help.
My MBF is the nurse I had for my glucose test today. She was just as nice as the others, but she's also so far been the absolute worst at the blood draw. I'm not even usually a tricky case.
My MBF is because my stupid husky tried to run out the front door as we were coming home today. I instinctively tried to stop her and in doing so I feel like I’ve pulled something in my lower abdomen, just above my pelvic area. I’m in so much pain. Luckily Emma is still kicking away and I already have an OB appointment in the morning. I can hardly walk but I’m sure all I need is some rest.
My MBF is that my underwear is fitting weird! I hate the rolling under the baby bump feeling.
I am team maternity underwear for this reason. Sooo stretchy.
What kind do you get @becausescience? I had some amazing ones with my 2st pregnancy but had to get rid of them and they don't make them anymore at Target. Could use some now!
@sassypants2010 Not underwear, but I wore nylons to a formal holiday party on Saturday. Whoa. You’d think they wouldn’t be so bad, they cut into my poor belly so bad! I went and rolled them down which was a huge annoyance and only slightly helped the circulation issue, but it was a little better. Ouch!
@mdfarmchick it’s been pretty rough! I can still hardly walk. And my OB is pretty sure I pulled something.
@baybeesunflower I’ve been trying to rest as much as possible but had so much running around to do today. Hopefully tomorrow will be easier. My OB told me to take some Tylenol if the pain persists.
And on top of that pain, I had blood drawn and received 2 vaccines (flu shot and TDAP) today. My arms are gonna be so sore in the morning
Re: MBF (12/11)
Yall I swear somebody’s messing with BMBs.
@crossfitbabybump did I miss your update or are you still waiting on your 3 hour result?

yes to the weird drive bys this weekend... and our limited responses. It’s not like they come back and read them anyway.
@JBcakes08 I think you’ll be fine on the three hour test since you were so close on the 1 hour.
