Depression?

I became pregnant immediately after breaking up with my boyfriend of 4 years by someone else. I don't love the baby's father as I'm still in love with my ex so does my daughter of 9. My ex shared with me he is beginning to see someone. I cry multiple times a day. Any advice?

Honestly, I'm not sure there's much we can offer in the way of advice for your situation. I'd recommend talking to a counselor. This is probably the most effective way for you to get some relief. If it's any consolation, I have a feeling you'd probably feel the depression even if you weren't pregnant.
Definitely talk to a therapist/counselor! I agree that it sounds like you are dealing with some really difficult stuff right now with or without being pregnant. However, you are also at an increased risk of clinical depression including postpartum depression which isn't good for you or the baby. This could easily become something very severe and must be taken seriously.
  • @sadmommo - you are going through a lot right now. I agree - see a therapist to help you through. You, your daughter and baby will be better off if you get some help sweetie. Prayers for you!
