R/R: Pretty content today, no rants besides its too damn cold out.

CS/Q: This is my first month temping.. do you all see a huge spike in temp around DPO5 or so? Mine went up .5 of a degree since yesterday and wasnt sure if it is normal or just that I didnt sleep well last night.

GTKY: What are you so bad at it is funny? Lying! My face gives it away everytime. It definitely keeps me honest to say the least

@kobrien827 I cannot lie either! MH is a huge jokester and I can never keep a straight face when he’s messing with someone.

GTKY: What are you so bad at it is funny? Cooking… I am horrible at it which makes me sad. I do try but it usually turns out bad. For example, last night I tried to make chicken pot pie (I saw a video on FB and thought it looked super easy and delicious). But I ended up burning the top of the dough as I was waiting for the bottom of it to cook (which it never did). But as I was checking on the dough’s progress I burn the shit out of my hand… MH hated it and ended up ordering pizza.

@kobrien827 I wouldn't read much into one temp, whichever direction it goes. I've never been ku but I've had charts that look triphasic and temp dips that look like implantation dips frequently.

@LJMoon6 Chicken pot pies are hard, and I'm a pretty good cook! Start with something simple.

R/R: Hanging out at a coffee shop for the next four hours while I wait for my car to get new tires. I hate spending tons of money on something that I get zero enjoyment out of. One tire has a slow leak though, so it's very necessary. I'm currently worried that I got the size wrong for my wheels, but hopefully I didn't!

CS/Q: Nothing much to see. Not temping for the first time in ages, which has actually been kinda nice.

@kobrien827 DH sometimes tries to lie about the stupidest stuff but he gets this weird witty half grin and I'm like, you are so lying, just look in the mirror lol
@LJMoon6 chicken pot pie sounds hard! Is there anyone you can cook with? I feel like so much is left out of recipes and even videos skip around a lot.

GTKY: I have realized I can't do choreographed moves to words put to music. I was trying to follow along to some song and it was just a disaster. Flashback to traumatic try outs for cheerleading in jr high.

R/R: SS is making me extra crazy. Today my mind went to implantation bleeding because of blood on a Q-tip. That came from a cut on my ear. I should not be reminding myself that a cut on my ear does not mean implantation bleeding. I felt like I should relinquish my teaching license after that one- I no longer feel qualified to teach kids science.
CS/Q: None. I have sore boobs but that could mean anything (including how I slept). Not reading into it.
GTKY: Apparently science. I'm also bad at math.

@kobrien827 I think it's normal to see a dip in your BBT in the TWW due to an estrogen surge. I'm not sure about a spike!
@LJMoon6 I always get confused trying to count the month/cycle numbers. It's so hard! I'm sorry, but I'm cracking up at your cooking story! I hope your hand didn't get burned too badly. We have mini pie maker that's super easy to use and you don't have to worry about it cooking all the way through. That reminds me...I should make mini pies soon! We had pizza for dinner last night too because I had to work late.
@darkstar42 Yay for your IUI and your new tires! Are you going to get your tires filled with nitrogen so the pressure doesn't fluctuate with the weather? I think one of my tires has a slow leak too

R/R: Yesterday was awful and I had to work 12 hours to get out a last minute project that I wasn't aware of until yesterday. I was tasked with the project by both of my bosses, who left work early, leaving me all by myself.

I was pretty frustrated that they tasked me with something last minute and left me all alone! One of them left at 2:00 so she could go buy dog food. I was like, really? But rave: DH ordered pizza and had it ready for me when I got home for a quick dinner! He takes such good care of me.

R/R: This isn’t too ranty, more of an annoyance, but we currently have another couple living with us while they try to save money for their own place. They’re a few years younger so we thought we would help them out. They’re fine and all except they take freaking forever to cook anything. Last night they made sushi and they were in the kitchen from before 6 until at least 9. Although they did clean up after themselves, so I’m thankful for that.

GTKY: What are you so bad at it is funny? Riding a bike. The last time I tried, I completely lost my balance and fell over. Apparently it doesn’t always come back to you right away.

@kobrien87 I’m not a huge fan of the cold weather, but I do like to wear leggings and tights so that at least works out.

@LJMoon6 Cooking can definitely take time to master and chicken pot pie is no joke! If you’re looking for an easier version, I make one using bisquick as a topping. I think the recipe might actually be on the box but you can definitely find it online.

@darkstar42 FX for your beta! Tires are such a lame necessity.

@jsnakehole Thanks for the recommendation in the TWW thread yesterday...I watched the first episode of the Marvelous Ms. Maisel and I love it! It's so great! I'm going to try to get DH to watch it with me.
@melbel0824 Agreed, I'm so glad we made a pact because I'm going to start getting antsy to test here pretty soon. However, we'll be doing a 15 hour car trip to Florida on Saturday/Sunday, so at least that will keep me distracted. Can't POAS in the car!

I'm glad your co-habitants clean up after themselves, but that's crazy it takes them so long to cook! MY MIL takes forever in the kitchen too. It took her over an hour to make pancakes once and I was so confused.
@matryoshkadoll Prioritizing is so hard sometimes! I try to clear out some of the easy/shorter tasks first, even though they may not be as important. It helps me feel like I've gotten something done and I can better focus on the longer tasks. Hope you can find a way to focus and get your to-do lists done without feeling so frazzled!

@darkstar42 @matryoshkadoll @offtoneverland @melbel0824 This was actually a really simple one pot recipe with biscuits lol. Except I didn’t have a deep skillet pan that could go in the oven so I transferred it to a casserole dish. The biscuits were then layered too much on top of each other. And I cooked the chicken too long in too much oil, so they were like deep fried chicken bites lol. At least I kind of have an idea what I did wrong.
