1. How many weeks along are you? How big is baby? 22 weeks! Zucchini
2. How are you feeling lately? My cold is finally nearly gone so I'm feeling better. Last night was the first night I didn't wake up from coughing in a week!
3. Any appointments coming up? I've got an appointment on Wednesday! Just a cervix check though.
4. Rants, Raves, Questions? This kid is a mover! She's wiggling all over the place in there. We went to a concert (Lindsey Stirling) this weekend and I swear she could hear the music and was dancing the whole time...
5. What are you most looking forward to over the next month and what are you least looking forward to? I'm most looking forward to time off from work so I can do nothing but Christmas with our kids: wrap presents, eat cookies, make delicious food, etc. I hate to say this but my family is coming to see us for Christmas and they want to stay for a week... and I feel like that's too long... so I'm not as excited for that as I thought I'd be. /sigh.

1. How many weeks along are you? How big is baby? 24 weeks! Viability! Hooray!
2. How are you feeling lately? Meh. I’ve noticed I get pretty dizzy if I stand up too quickly, which I’ll bring up with my OB this week. Hips are KILLING ME, making it hard to sleep. Pregnancy is so wonderful
3. Any appointments coming up? 24 week appointment on Wednesday. Not expecting anything exciting, there.
4. Rants, Raves, Questions? Nothing right now.
5. What are you most looking forward to over the next month and what are you least looking forward to? Most looking forward to: watching my kids on Christmas Day. My son is finally old enough to better understand what it all means, and he’s really excited. DD just follows whatever he does, so I imagine she’ll be shrieking in excitement right along with him.
Least looking forward to: DS’s preschool being closed for three weeks and my husband not being able to take much time off, meaning I’ll need to keep everyone occupied all day every day by myself. My parents are amazing and take them a lot, so I’m hoping that’ll be true around Christmas!
ladythrice awww, the babe was dancing the whole time, how cute!
1. How many weeks along are you? How big is baby? 22 weeks! Baby is the size of a water bottle, which is crazy.
2. How are you feeling lately? I am feeling actually pretty good, slept like crap for some reason last night so very tired and unmotivated today. Actually, I have just been unmotivated in general lately
3. Any appointments coming up? Nope, not for a couple weeks. Thank goodness my appointment last week went GREAT.
4. Rants, Raves, Questions? My husband and I are going to the cities for a NHL game on Thursday, so I am excited about that to get away and do some shopping! However, we were going with another couple and I've never met the gf, and the guy is a huge drinker...so that will be interesting. Totally un-baby related lol
5. What are you most looking forward to over the next month and what are you least looking forward to? I am looking forward to Christmas with my DD, shes almost 2 1/2, so I know she will just LOVE all the presents However, I am not looking forward to finishing my shopping because I literally have no idea what to get people, its exhausting lol and I just feel like its sneaking up on me!
@kmalls YESSSSSS on the kids!!! Our kids are the same ages and I'm SO excited but everything this season for the same reason you are. DD really doesn't have any clue what's going on but DS does and she is mimicking his excitement about everything and i LOVE it! We decorated Christmas cookies yesterday and I about cried while we were doing it from the cuteness of the kids lol.

1. How many weeks along are you? How big is baby? 22 weeks; size of a coconut. Last week was endive which seems larger than a coconut to me....but whatevs haha She's growing!
2. How are you feeling lately? Ok, sciatica is bothering me and my leg has burning sensations one minute and tickling the next, but I can't scratch the tickle. Its so annoying. My hips are also hurting at night. I know we're not supposed to lay on our backs so I'm tossing from side to side all night when one hip starts to hurt. Its not my bed either. Least looking forward to? Idk work? haha. Getting bigger and more uncomfortable!
@Scuba_Chic I've been slowly decreasing but they haven't said its cause for concern. I've got my check this week and if it's good, I'll have one more in two weeks then go back to monthly visits!

@ladythrice ooooh how did cookie making go? I want to do that with the kids, but DS’s attention span is like [thisbig] and I’m afraid it’ll end up being me frantically trying to get everything done before they kill each other with a rolling pin
@ladythrice That is so fun your baby was moving along with the music. I just listened to one of her songs (I wasn't familiar), and I could totally see a baby liking that. We went to a Christmas concert this weekend and baby was kicking a ton when someone started playing the bagpipe. @kmalls Hooray for 24 weeks! Sorry about your dizziness.. It's a scary feeling sometimes. I have been experiencing that too and have had to intentionally slow down my movements when I stand up. I used compression socks for awhile too.. not sure if they helped but they felt nice to have on. @itsrandiyo That's great you can get away for a game and some shopping. Hoping all goes well with the couple.. hopefully it's not too interesting! 1. How many weeks along are you? How big is baby? 21 weeks today! Baby is the size of an endive.
2. How are you feeling lately? Overall, I've felt pretty well this week besides my exhaustion. I have just been so tired this past week, even though I've been sleeping better throughout the night. I may try to incorporate some more naps this week and see if that helps. I've been much more emotional recently.. I'm hoping that'll subside.
3. Any appointments coming up? Next week for another check-in with my OB.
4. Rants, Raves, Questions?
5. What are you most looking forward to over the next month and what are you least looking forward to? I really enjoy hanging out with family over Christmas, but it can get a little busy hopping around to three locations. I am most looking forward to hanging out with my DH on Christmas Day. We grab take-out Thai food and watch "White Christmas" after opening presents. We started it unintentionally the year we got married, and it is my favorite tradition.
1. How many weeks along are you? How big is baby? 24 Weeks!!!! Baby is the size of a cantaloupe or the size of Mr Burns Teddy Bear Bobo
2. How are you feeling lately? Ok like others my hips hurt especially at night so it's pretty much tossing to either side to give one hip a break.
3. Any appointments coming up? Yep tomorrow and also doing my 3 hours glucose test
4. Rants, Raves, Questions? I don't believe I have anything this week.
5. What are you most looking forward to over the next month and what are you least looking forward to? Most looking forward: DD seems to be more into Christmas this year cause she seems to know what's going on so her excitement has been a lot of fun. I'm also looking forward to baking and seeing family. Plus now with both my parents retired my mom gets to fully enjoy Christmas (she was a mail carrier) so it has been fun. Also seeing Star Wars on Thursday night and seeing The Greatest Showman next week. Least looking forward: IDK maybe just getting bigger and being uncomfortable.
1. How many weeks along are you? How big is baby? 21 weeks Endive
2. How are you feeling lately? Not bad. Still have a hard time finding anything good to eat and I wouldn't complain if the pelvic pain let up a bit.
3. Any appointments coming up? In a few weeks
4. Rants, Raves, Questions? DH felt the baby kick for the first time along with my 4 yr old. It was very exciting!
5. What are you most looking forward to over the next month and what are you least looking forward to? I am looking forward to Christmas Eve/early Christmas morning. It's just our little family with our traditions until later Christmas morning through New Years eve. Then all the crazy starts of driving and no naps for the 2 year old and always too busy. Although, we get to spend time with family we haven't seen in a year so not looking forward to the hectic, but still get good things out of it.
@kmalls I have been having the dizziness issues for several weeks now too. I think it's a normal pregnancy-related thing because of your increased blood volume, but it's still annoying.
1. How many weeks along are you? How big is baby? 22 weeks, coconut. I read that the youngest preemie to survive with no major complications was 21 wks 5 days. Obviously this baby needs to cook a lot longer, but I agree with @kmalls there is something very reassuring about being closer and closer to viability / a good infant survival rate.
2. How are you feeling lately? Good. The belly is definitely getting bigger and sleep is becoming more uncomfortable. But I jogged/walked 4 miles on Saturday and felt great! (despite having to stop to pee twice)
3. Any appointments coming up? Regular MW checkup on Thursday
4. Rants, Raves, Questions? My bestie had a little boy a couple of days ago. I am dying over the tiny baby pictures and it's making me look forward to having an infant again Of course my memories of all the snuggling tend to be more vivid than the memories of the sleep deprived, anxious haze, hah.
5. What are you most looking forward to over the next month and what are you least looking forward to? Most: Holiday party on Friday, going home next Friday, 11 days off work, spending time with my family! Least: coming back to work in January with nothing exciting on the horizon for months, except the stress of moving
@dan0081 White Christmas is my favorite Christmas movie! That sounds like such a relaxing Christmas Day!
1. How many weeks along are you? How big is baby? 22 weeks, coconut! 2. How are you feeling lately? Starting to get a little more heartburn but it’s still manageable 3. Any appointments coming up? Not until after the holidays 4. Rants, Raves, Questions? Anyone else have little red dots on their bellies? I’m thinking it’s from stretching/dry winter skin—but I’ll definitely bring it up at the next appointment. 5. What are you most looking forward to over the next month and what are you least looking forward to? Christmas in Disney World! I’m sure I’m going to be veryy emotional the whole time. Especially because it will probably be our last real vacation as a family of three.
Im least looking forward to moving this weekend. Luckily our new apartment is literally just down the hall, so it shouldn’t be too bad. But I hate disorganization and chaos and I’m sure it’s going to take several weeks before everything is settled enough that I can really relax.
I’m excited for those of you with kiddos who are starting to get into Christmas! Enjoy it 1. How many weeks along are you? How big is baby? 23 weeks, grapefruits
2. How are you feeling lately? Generally good!
3. Any appointments coming up? 2nd AS on the 21st. Boy had echogenic focus noted on first one. Doc isn’t concerned but wants to keep monitoring.
4. Rants, Raves, Questions? I could go for a boost in my sex drive. It’s been low since maybe 10 weeks. When it does happen, it’s not great b/c I am just uncomfortable physically.
5. What are you most looking forward to over the next month and what are you least looking forward to? Looking forward to getting the nursery figured out. Not looking forward to getting more uncomfortable.
1. How many weeks along are you? How big is baby? 22 Weeks, baby is the size of a coconut. 2. How are you feeling lately? I have started experiencing the tailbone pain that I have been hearing about which sucks! It was pretty bad last night but doesn't seem to be bothering me too much this morning. 3. Any appointments coming up? End of the month. 4. Rants, Raves, Questions? Today has been super busy at work! I'm kind of hoping for a no-show or cancellation later so I don't get too behind this week. Spent the weekend cleaning and organizing the house. It feels good to get things done that my H and I have been putting off for awhile. Also went out with some girls from a local FB group... it was nice to get out and meet some new people. 5. What are you most looking forward to over the next month and what are you least looking forward to? Having over a week off work around the holidays and then going back to Michigan over MLK weekend for my baby shower! I can't wait to see so many friends and family
1. How many weeks along are you? How big is baby? 23 weeks. Baby is the size of a grapefruit or Barbie doll, which I think are two vastly different sizes so honestly idk. 2. How are you feeling lately?
3. Any appointments coming up? Not fora couple more weeks. 4. Rants, Raves, Questions? The one--ONE!--good thing about pregnancy (as far as I'm concerned) is feeling the baby move and she has been going crazy in there lately with much stronger kicks. I absolutely love feeling her movements get bigger and bigger. 5. What are you most looking forward to over the next month and what are you least looking forward to? I'm most looking forward to January and being done with all the December craziness. I'm actually not looking forward to Christmas because DS is with his dad this year and I always have a hard time with that.
@ladythrice ooooh how did cookie making go? I want to do that with the kids, but DS’s attention span is like [thisbig] and I’m afraid it’ll end up being me frantically trying to get everything done before they kill each other with a rolling pin
@kmalls Bahahahaha, I was too optimistic yesterday. I planned for decorating of one cookie type. When that went really well I decided to go for broke and we baked sugar cookies, complete with cookie cutters, and decoration. The kids were AMAZING for the first batch. DS is like me and a little OCD and carefully spooned the frosting into the thumbprint, DD just smacked everyone with her spoon and licked the frosting . When it came to the sugar cookies, we deteriorated rapidly lol. They liked using the cookie cutters but lost it before we could decorate... I HATE decorating sugar cookies and only decided to do it for the kids... suffice it to say those cookies look like crap and it's not because my kids did it... I'm still going to blame it on them though

@Dan0081 I love your tradition with DH! What a relaxing Christmas Day. @Dumbgurl04 so jealous of your movie plans!!!! I'm totally roping my parents into babysitting while they are visiting so DH and I can binge a few movies at the theater. There are about 4 out right now, or coming out, I want to see! @mountainsmama, facebook has been KILLING me with my memories of the kids when they were babies. I never knew I could feel baby fever while pregnant . Funny how we magically gloss over all the hard times in our memories... @rmmorris CHRISTMAS IN DISNEY!!! It sounds like my best dream and worst nightmare at the same time lol. I hope you have a wonderful time!!! We're huge Disney fans and it's on my list of vacations to hit up Disney after Christmas decorations go up! @G_amoss my increased drive during second tri is the one positive thing about pregnancy for me... but this time around it's not as powerful as it has been the previous pregnancies... much to DH's dismay
For those feeling pelvic/hip pain: One of the best gifts DH and I ever did for ourselves was buy a memory foam mattress. Ever since we've had one I've forgotten what it's like to have hip/back/pelvic pain while sleeping pregnant. I know some people hate them but I'm a diehard fan. My sleep quality since buying the new mattress years ago has improved immensely and I'm reminded how amazing our bed is whenever we visit family and sleep on regular spring mattresses. Best thing? Most brands have a money back guarantee so there's nothing to lose by trying one out!

1. How many weeks along are you? How big is baby? 21 weeks, endive
2. How are you feeling lately? Good! Crampy but good. I’ll take it!
3. Any appointments coming up? Had checkup today. I commented on how fast the HB was and my OB said I must have had a good breakfast. I didn’t tell her I had milk and Christmas cookies lol.
4. Rants, Raves, Questions? Just so excited to have found out at A/S last week it’s a healthy girl!!
5. What are you most looking forward to over the next month and what are you least looking forward to? excited for Christmas! Not excited for DH to have 2 weeks off (he works for a university so there’s just closed, he still gets paid and doesn’t have to take any leave) while I can only take one day off
@ladythrice I'm soooooooooooo thankful for my parents. We always seem to ask them when we know dates of moves. I already asked her to watch our kids the weekend Avengers Infinity war comes out. Lol
1. How many weeks along are you? How big is baby? 20 weeks- banana. HALFWAY THERE!!! 2. How are you feeling lately? I have had the blues in the last week or so. What’s up with that with my favorite time of year right around the corner?? 3. Any appointments coming up? Not for a few weeks, just had my a/s this past Friday. 4. Rants, Raves, Questions? I found out at my ultrasound (though I had already suspected it) that I have an anterior placenta this time around. I’m majorly bummed about that. There are so many annoying things about pregnancy, but feeling baby moving around always makes up for it all. I’m disappointed I won’t be feeling much this time around! 5. What are you most looking forward to over the next month and what are you least looking forward to? I’m most looking forward to 7 days off work with my sweet little guy over Christmas time. I wish I could be a sahm with him, so having a stretch of time off with him really recharges me and my heart.
Mama to Rowan Sebastian and baby boy coming in April!
1. How many weeks along are you? How big is baby? 22 weeks - cob of corn 2. How are you feeling lately? Pretty good - round ligament pain, but nothing too bad. I'm feeling tons of movement, which I love! DH got to feel her bumping around too! 3. Any appointments coming up? None until a follow up anatomy scan on the 19th. 4. Rants, Raves, Questions? It's the week before winter break and my students are insane! I'm not sure how I'll get through this whole pregnancy if I have this little patience at week 22. Luckily they are all so darn cute. 5. What are you most looking forward to over the next month and what are you least looking forward to? Moving. I'm looking forward to settling in to our new condo, but I'm so stressed/anxious about packing, moving, and renting our current house out. As a result, I've been acting like a crazy person and taking my anxiety out on my poor, sweet husband.
@dan0081 - your Christmas tradition sounds wonderful! I like seeing family, but I'm an introvert and would love to just stay home in my jammies with DH if I could.
@mountainsmama - good for you for getting exercise! I finally got off my butt and went on a hike this weekend. Only 3 miles round trip, but my legs and bum are feeling it today.
@rmmorris - Good luck with the move! I hope it goes smoothly!
1. How many weeks along are you? How big is baby? 22 weeks. Coconut baby!
2. How are you feeling lately? Super tired and itchy. Increased sex drive though so I guess that’s something
3. Any appointments coming up? No but got bloodwork done today due to pretty intense itching (mostly my feet and palms of feet at night.) it’s likely just a pregnancy hormone thing but we have to rule out some more serious pregnancy complications.
4. Rants, Raves, Questions? Nope!
5. What are you most looking forward to over the next month and what are you least looking forward to? Like others have mentioned, I’m really looking forward to Christmas morning with my toddler. This is the first year he’s really understanding the holiday so I think it’s going to be really fun. I’m least looking forward the inevitable family drama that comes with the holidays due to mom’s mental health issues.
@ladythrice dawhhh dancing to Lindsay Stirling ! Such good music. @scuba_chic totally know how you feel with the getting real thing. One more week until viability which really puts things into perspective !
@rmmorris braving Disneyland next weekend with the boyfriend. I'm sure Disneyworld is just beautiful at this time of year !
@JJMNO1616 the tailbone pain has been *theworst* the past couple nights every time I stand up. Hope ya feel better !
1. How many weeks along are you? How big is baby? 23 weeks! Grapefruit (even though I think they're smaller than coconuts haha)
2. How are you feeling lately? Hip, tailbone, and lower back pain when I get up to start walking lately. Trying to work on posture and stuff but haven't found anything that super helps yet. Otherwise still pretty normal !
3. Any appointments coming up? Nope!
4. Rants, Raves, Questions? Baby officially has a name because fiance finally came around to Delaney (it was between that and Harper). So stoked !
Small rant : doctor wants me to take baby aspirin since my blood pressure has been on the fritz. The meds I'm on are correcting it ( i pretty much have white coat hypertension it's always fine when I'm not at the doctor). I know she's just trying to be proactive about things that could happen later, but I'm not a medicine taker normally and its just a lot for me!
5. What are you most looking forward to over the next month and what are you least looking forward to?
Most : Disneyland next weekend with the fiance during the holidays . Wooh Babymoon !
least: my cousins fiance telling me "I told you so" about being the next one to get pregnant without trying to. He's literally the only one whose ever gotten on my case at the fact that I "should" be having kids by now (I'm 25) despite going back to school and planning on waiting (disclaimer: totally happy it happened!) , so I know he's going to be obnoxious about it.
1. How many weeks along are you? How big is baby? 20 weeks, banana 2. How are you feeling lately? Good for the most part. I can now feel the baby moving every day, I love it! I've had a lot of round ligament pain lately, but it's manageable. 3. Any appointments coming up? Friday for a routine check up. 4. Rants, Raves, Questions? DS seems to be doing really well in his twin bed, and looking back, I don't know what I was thinking when I thought we'd wait until we needed the crib for LO. We're even thinking about setting up the crib in our room and using it for the baby right away, we'd sell our bassinest if we did that. I have to admit that I'm really looking forward to selling all the baby gear, and getting a head start on selling things we don't plan to use again is tempting. 5. What are you most looking forward to over the next month and what are you least looking forward to? I'm looking forward to spending Christmas at home and starting new traditions. We've traveled for Christmas for many years, and I think we're not going to do that anymore (cost and stress being major factors). It will be nice to have a mellow Christmas for the first time! I'm least looking forward to finishing up my Christmas shopping. Still don't have good ideas for some people, and the deadline for mailing items is looming.
@growingournest I've now had three pregnancies with an anterior placenta and I can promise you that you WILL feel movement. The AP only affects the earliest signs, but by 24 weeks you'll feel everything like normal. As I write this I can feel DD2 flipping around inside right now at 22 weeks!

We grab take-out Thai food and watch "White Christmas" after opening presents. We started it unintentionally the year we got married, and it is my favorite tradition.
1. How many weeks along are you? How big is baby?
22 weeks, coconut!
2. How are you feeling lately?
Starting to get a little more heartburn but it’s still manageable
3. Any appointments coming up?
Not until after the holidays
DS: EDD, December 19th, 2014. Born, December 19th, 2014!
DD: EDD, July 18th, 2016. Born, July 19th, 2016!
Baby #3: EDD, April 16th, 2016
DS: EDD, December 19th, 2014. Born, December 19th, 2014!
DD: EDD, July 18th, 2016. Born, July 19th, 2016!
Baby #3: EDD, April 16th, 2016
21 weeks, endive
2. How are you feeling lately?
Good! Crampy but good. I’ll take it!
3. Any appointments coming up?
Had checkup today. I commented on how fast the HB was and my OB said I must have had a good breakfast. I didn’t tell her I had milk and Christmas cookies lol.
4. Rants, Raves, Questions?
Just so excited to have found out at A/S last week it’s a healthy girl!!
5. What are you most looking forward to over the next month and what are you least looking forward to?
excited for Christmas! Not excited for DH to have 2 weeks off (he works for a university so there’s just closed, he still gets paid and doesn’t have to take any leave) while I can only take one day off
20 weeks- banana.
22 weeks - cob of corn
@mountainsmama - good for you for getting exercise! I finally got off my butt and went on a hike this weekend. Only 3 miles round trip, but my legs and bum are feeling it today.
@rmmorris - Good luck with the move! I hope it goes smoothly!
20 weeks, banana
