This thread is for those who are trying to maintain physical activity throughout pregnancy. It can be walking around the block, hitting the gym, training for a marathon, and everything in between.
There is no physical activity too small during pregnancy.
How did this week go for you? How are you feeling about your exercise? Any funny story about your growing belly (and maybe other parts) affecting your routine?
Re: Physical health check-in 12/8
I'm getting frustrated with my heart rate going so high so quickly. The trainer tonight hasn't seen me in weeks an even commented on how fast it goes up. I'm not concerned about it, but when it gets too high, I just slow down and take extra breaths to get it down for my own comfort.
I did decide last weekend that I need new shirts. My bump is out of control and my current one definitely make me look like I'm smuggling something across the border.
I take a dance fitness class on TTH that involves a lot of sexy moves and I caught myself doing a hip thrust in the mirror the other day but it was SO PITIFUL! I have no defined hips anymore so it just likes me swinging my belly around lol.
How are you feeling about your exercise? Not great, but this week, I know taking care of my lungs, resting, and avoiding our bad air quality from the fires are more important. My OB was pretty clear about that.
Any funny story about your growing belly (and maybe other parts) affecting your routine? I just don’t know my own size at this point. I bump into people/things all the time.
still on my running streak! I have been doing a lot of 1 milers bc I’m always tired. Day 365 is Monday!! (Guess that’s tomorrow)

So hard to go but feel so much better when I do it.

I huff and puff so much! I feel like the big bad wolf anytime I run, climb stairs, walk briskly
@roomsu, DH has asked multiple times why I keep getting winded in the stairs. Apparently since I work out I'm not allowed to be out if breath after hauling a growing person up a flight.
very far.
