  • @ivyvines6 OMG!  So gross.  Glad it was just cabbage.

    @helloworld9 I wanted to do the same thing when my nail lady asked a few weeks ago, but she was being so sweet about it I couldn't bring myself to mess with her.

    @onesmallcoconut congrats on a great AS and a girl!

    @rachelg777 Yay for a good AS.  Being sick while pregnant sucks.  We should be exempt.

    @sparklingdiamond Doctors get so weird and territorial.  They can suck it.  You do what you think is best!

    @abhphilly That's a nice benefit, but one you have to wait a long time to take advantage of.

    @zizzabell523 glad you are feeling better.

  • @mileswithmyles I hope you feel better soon!  That is no fun.  Also, I am with you on the peeing myself when I sneeze camp.

    @ivyvines6 Yay for an appt!!

    @helloworld9 I had a client ask if I was the other day (well indirectly ask....he didn't flat out ask lol).  It is kind of nice to get that confirmation that others see it!

    @onesmallcoconut Congrats on a girl!!

    @rachelg777 I have an anterior placenta too, which surprised me because I have been feeling movement for a while now (but this is my second).

    @abhphilly What is the injection for?  I haven't heard of that before.

    @zizzabell523 Aww that is so sweet of your DH!
  • @sparklingdiamond To prevent preterm labor when there’s been a history of it. Weekly butt shots from 16-36 weeks!

  • @mileswithmyles Omg you HAVE had a rough week! I hope you feel better and that your AS leaves you with lots of smiles :)

    @ivyvines6 I hope you have a great appointment!

    @helloworld9 Having someone comment on it has got to make you feel better!

    @onesmallcoconut My girls are SO sweet! Congratulations and welcome to the #girlmom club! Also, you’ll never be on time again ;)

    @rachelg777 I have anterior this time, too, which I didn’t have with the girls. It’s different, for sure.

    @zizzabell523 Umm my DH needs to up his game!
  • How far along are you? When is your due date? What size is baby? 19 weeks 2 days 5/1

    What's going on this week? How are you feeling, any rants or raves? I’m super excited that the girls are going to the ILs this weekend... I have so much to do around the house. Hopefully I won’t squander my time with too much Netflix.

    Any upcoming appointments? I had my AS on Tuesday and found out that we are having a BOY! DH legit cried. Unfortunately, he has two cysts on his brain which are soft markers for Trisomy 18 and I sent off blood to test for that. Results should be back in 10-14 days. Thankfully, he has NO other markers for that- everything else is perfectly formed and he opened his hands, which T18 babies cannot do. My midwife said she has a case with cyst on the brain once a month and has never had it be anything bad, plus the handout said in a study of 1000 babies with cysts none with mothers under 35 had chromosomal abnormalities. I’m 29. So, we’re very hopeful but I’ve never been so terrified in my life. I understand now why people get the genetic testing early because in this case T18 babies generally don’t live more than a couple of days past birth and 1% past 1 year... I would definitely want to know that sooner rather than later. So, I’m eating my “genetic testing results wouldn’t change anything.” Words.

    GTKY: What's something that you are really at?
    not stressing, staying calm.
  • Ugh, @missustexas, I'm so sorry you're dealing with this stress and news.  Hopefully the next 10-14 days goes quickly, and the results you get are wonderful.  Please keep us updated, I'll keep you and your family in my thoughts.  If it's any consolation, I feel like I've heard a lot of stories of cysts being found on ultrasound that all turned out to be benign.

  • @MissusTexas sending some T&P for good news in a couple of weeks
  • @MissusTexas thinking of you. I hope you get the results soon and that they have a positive outcome. A lot of my moms on my either BMB had cysts found at the AS that ended up being benign. It sounds really encouraging that you don’t have any other markers and that baby boy could move and open his hands!
  • @MissusTexas I too have had other moms on my previous bmb with the same cysts that cleared up. I'm sorry you are dealing with this anxiety.
  • How far along are you? When is your due date? What size is baby? 19 weeks today. 5/3. Mango.

    What's going on this week? How are you feeling, any rants or raves? Work has been kicking my butt. Friday and Monday I got chewed out by two small town judges for something that no other judge in the state would bat an eye at.

    Our toddler also just decided to start hitting us when she isn’t getting what she wants.

    I want to wave the white flag at work and home right now.

    Any upcoming appointments? AS and OB appointment on 12/14.

    GTKY: What's something that you are really good at? Learning, studying, and taking exams. I can almost always pick up quickly on complex subjects. Putting the things I learn to good use is sometimes another story.

    Things I am not good at: keeping up with TB. But maybe that’s just because life is so hectic right now. I am always mobile and bumping at work eats all my data. :(

  • @MissusTexas, I can imagine that would be stressful. Thinking of you and hoping for good test results!

  • @MissusTexas thank you for the warm welcome to the girl mom club :)
    I'm so sorry you have such stress happening in your pregnancy right now. You've got a great support system here if you ever need to vent. Really hoping for better news for you and your family with your next round of testing. The anxiety can be terrible so don't forget to care of yourself ❤️
