does this mean we're in 3rd trimester? If so wow, it's gone by so fast!!!!
    2) How are you feeling?
Heartburn is like all day all night. Even if I have hardly had anything to eat or drink.  I am feeling a little bit sad and stressed emotionally but I'll go there in #4. Physically pretty much just heartburn.
    3) Any appointments this week?
OB appointment on Thursday. Maybe doula appointment this week too, but not sure about that yet. Trying to schedule it.
    4) Rants/Raves/Questions?
Rants: My OB called to talk about the ultrasound we had the 29th to check on that marginal insertion. The baby's size, heart rate, movement, position are all fine as well as how much volume of fluid and such are in there. She is ordering another intensive ultrasound on the 12th with a high risk OB present to read it though because she said we can't see well enough in the images where the umbilical cord is and if it's falling into or over the cervical opening (vasa previa). The good news is I might not have this complication at all since she said she can't really see it yet. The bad news is if we have it, it has a high risk of still birth unless you have an earlier c-section because when your water breaks, the blood supply can be cut off to the baby. I am a little bit sad at the possibility, mostly for the risk for the baby, and because I wanted a natural birth and that pretty much rules it out (but duh, obviously I want a living baby more than a natural birth), and because it's going to cost so much more if since we have to have a bunch more ultrasounds and c-sections cost more and you normally stay in the hospital longer which is more costly too. So stressed/sad about the health and financial risks. But trying not to think of it too much since its possible I don't even have that for sure.
Rave: Today is national cookie day! Did you celebrate? If not get on that!
    5) GTKY: What do you want to accomplish this week?
Mostly work related. I am working on my own website but I know I won't finish it this week. I will try to just get a portfolio website up on Adobe or Behance for right now. I would also like to start building a passive income and get some downloadable products up on Etsy.

    2) How are you feeling? Feeling pretty good.  I have some back pain and heartburn in the middle of the night.  I had heartburn so much worse with DS.  I am still sleeping well, so I am thankful for that each morning!

    3) Any appointments this week? Tomorrow I have my one hour glucose  :# I am a bit nervous about that!

    4) Rants/Raves/Questions? I am getting to the point where I just want to know what my OB's "plan" is to get this baby out.  I am a planner and the uncertainty that the end of pregnancy brings gives me anxiety.  I just need to see that light at the end of the tunnel!

    5) GTKY: What do you want to accomplish this week?
We finally put our Christmas stuff up.  So I guess that means I probably need to get wrapping.  We are saving all baby things until after Christmas.

@alice0218 Good luckk at your appointment Thursday--is that the high risk OB ultrasound?  I hope you get some answers--sometime the unknown is scary, but once you get answers and have a plan, you will feel better. Also, I celebrated National Cookie Day by eating cookie dough ice cream--that counts, right?

    Whoohoo!! I can’t believe it!
    2) How are you feeling?
Pretty good. I have broken out the belly support band and that is helping me a lot.
    3) Any appointments this week?
I have a follow up growth scan on Thursday. Hopefully everything is still all good.
    4) Rants/Raves/Questions?
I can’t really think of anything today. I just want a nap.
    5) GTKY: What do you want to accomplish this week?
I want to make teacher gifts for my son’s teachers and gift for my friend’s baby that should be here any day now. I should also probably clean the house, but crafting is more fun.

    @alice0218
good luck on the 12th. I hope they are able to get a better look and see that it is just the marginal cord insertion. If not, at least there is time to wrap your head around a different birth plan. I am someone who does not like plans to change last minute, so that time, while hard at the beginning, would be useful for me to process.
  • @magnolia305 good luck on your glucose test! Hopefully you don't have anything to worry about. Yes, I think Cokie dough ice cream is a legit way of celebrating! and, no that ultrasound is on the 12th, it's just an OB appointment on Thursday.

@lainikins I would definitely sway towards crafting too. ;) And yes I agree about the having time to plan being better mentally and emotionally (and for the safety of the baby). I was actually sad and cried a bunch yesterday and I think it's more grieving the possibility of having a normal natural birth vs. having a surgical birth. I think they are keeping a good eye on the baby so I'm not actually too sad about that. But talking to my husband, I feel like we'll both be more content when we know exactly what we have to do and if it's that vasa previa or not. I hope they don't have some sort of in between diagnosis. I want something black or white! At least that is easier to plan for and wrap my head around.

    2) I’ve been good. Achy but good! I had one bad day this past week with HORRIBLE acid reflux.
    3) not till December 20th
    4) Rave on myself...I’m officially done Christmas shopping and I did so with an almost 2 yr old!!
    5) GTKY: Begin organizing my daughters closet to make room for the babies clothes!
  • @magnolia305 good luck at your glucose test!!

@alice0218 good luck on the 12th! I hope they can get a better look and it will be nice to have the OB there reading it. That way you will have answers immediately!
  • 2. Tired all the time, hips hurt at night and I toss and turn a lot.

3/4. Was suppose to have my 28 week visit today but the dr was delivering a baby and the other 2 were in surgery so after waiting an hour I had to reschedule so I get to tell my manager I need to rearrange yet Another day

    5. I really need to clean and organize the house and the room that will be the nursery but I've had no motivation to do anything

    28 weeks!
    Wahoo!  Third trimester!
    2) How are you feeling?
Giant already, but mostly because the belly is finally starting to get in the way lol.  Tired all the time which is half pregnancy and half insane 2 year old related.  I feel like I swing from not eating enough to eating everything in sight as Aria rolls on and off my stomach.
    3) Any appointments this week?
Just had one and found out I passed my 1 hr glucose (yay I had to take the 3 hr with my first, but ultimately passed it as well).  Nurse practitioner asked about my birth plan and if I wanted to go c-section again (first was breech) or go for vbac and I said that I feel like no matter what I say they (babies) come how they want when they want anyway and I'm not going to worry too much about a birth plan other than the loose notion of wanting to try for a vbac, to which she said she liked that I was a realist lol.
    4) Rants/Raves/Questions?
Are we there yet lol.  On a side note only 2 days left in my 2 year old's round of antibiotics that she hates taking (YAY!)
    5) GTKY: What do you want to accomplish this week?
    Sleep lol.

    28 weeks!
I'm going to try to keep up with posting more. The idea of the third trimester has me really baby focused to get everything done.
    2) How are you feeling?
Good. My little wiggle worm is really low and loves kicking my bladder. I almost peed my pants during my Hypnobirthing class this week. Time for panty liners all the time, I guess.
    3) Any appointments this week?
Glucose test tomorrow. I already did one earlier in this pregnancy due to family history so I'm hoping I pass this one without issue l, too. There has to be something about knowing you can't have sweets that makes you crave cookies, right?
    4) Rants/Raves/Questions?
nothing much this week. Just can't wait to be done with work for 3 months.
    5) GTKY: What do you want to accomplish this week?
I'm hoping to get my birth plan together and really start practicing my Hypnobirthing breathing and relaxation exercises on a regular basis starting this week. February is coming quickly! Yikes! ☺
  • @alice0218 I hope you get good news at your next ultrasound. Or at least time to talk with an expert about your options and any concerns that you have.
  • Good luck  today @RaeleenD!
  • 28 weeks!
    2) How are you feeling?
I'm okay. Mostly sore hips. I switched from regular pillow between my legs to full body pillow and its been amazing. My hips would fall asleep and I'd be turning hourly. Ugh.
    3) Any appointments this week?
Tomorrow I have the 1hr glucose and I get to talk about my tounge. Ever since DD 2+ yrs ago, my tounge has split and cracked. Everyone said hormones but OB this time said no way. Went to an ENT who did blood work and discovered I have really low B12 and iron levels so I have to ask OB about liquid iron and B12 shots. Fun.
    4) Rants/Raves/Questions?
I'm semi horrified at how much my stomach has suddenly popped and I'm very annoyed when DH points it out by asking "Is she right up front now or what?" Shut up. He also thought my stomach was just full of baby and air. This is our second...
    5) GTKY: What do you want to accomplish this week?
I'd like to wrap DDs Christmas gifts because they are taking up space in the nursery we desperately need to paint and get ready. I keep warning DH that I won't be up to helping soon and he nods.
