Horrible lower back pain

Hey mamas! I’m 30w 3d and I’ve been having HORRIBLE lower back pain since I was 25w and it just keeps getting worse and worse, any suggestions on how to relieve some of the pain? I tired a pregnancy belt and it didn’t do much. I also tried the chiropractor and it works for a couple days but it always comes back.

Re: Horrible lower back pain

  • As we hit 3rd tri--lots of us are having some back pain.  I believe it is being talked about in the symptoms thread, so head over there.

  • **This should have been in the symptoms thread. Aside from chiropractic or support belts, preventative options are proper sleep and sitting positions are important. Also making sure you aren't lifting or overdoing things during the day.

To help when already sore, look up stretches you can do for pregnancy aches or prenatal massage.  I also find kneeling on the floor with my chest on a yoga ball can help relieve tension.

Otherwise, birth is the best option to get rid of the back soreness. ;)

You haven't posted here since August, and you called us judgmental for simply giving you information. Are you open to our advice now?

As others said, there is information about pain and relief in the symptoms thread, where we've been giving and receiving support over the past several weeks/months.
@eggplantface How do you remember this? Im in awe of your memory.  :)

If you click on someone’s user name (on desktop) you can see their past discussions/replies. I always check drive-bys because I can’t remember anything! :)
