@sourkim I LOVE my instantpot! Best kitchen gadget I have ever purchased. Tonight I'm making Low Carb Instantpot Pizza casserole. I think it will be a crowd pleaser with DH and DS.
I just hate meal planning since becoming pregnant, the thought of cooking food & putting the effort into it just does not appeal to me. Can’t wait for that to change.
DH is crazy about routine, so we basically do the same seven dinner meals every week, BUT this week I got the ingredients for latkes. I love latke season!! I'm so excited I have to wait until Sunday to make them for our Christmas Cookie & Latke party, but I'm craving them so hard right now.
If anyone is looking for a vegetarian/vegan meal ideas, I love this chickpea sunflower salad: https://minimalistbaker.com/chickpea-sunflower-sandwich/. I like to make a batch of this and eat it for lunch throughout the week. And it finally sounds good again!!!
I'm winging most of our dinners this week, but I'm hoping to have time one of these nights to make a Mexican lasagna.

I'm with @bkrahn about not feeling interested in cooking. Usually I start enjoying food around 17 weeks. I've been winging it recently/ pulling lots of things from the freezer.
I made spaghetti with meat sauce for tonight. Been making it once a week for past couple weeks. I crave the kind made with the prego (haha) jar like my mom made when I was a kid...NOT the kind my dad's Italian mom made that was real. I like that kind too, but pregnant, I want all the nostalgic stuff, including jarred pasta sauce.
Tomorrow I will wake up and throw a piece of beef in slow cooker with some cans of salsa and let it go. Warm up some tortillas and call it a day. We like to eat tacos with either pickled carrots or cucumbers with lime juice and salt. My bf is part Hispanic so some version of this is weekly is also typical for us now that I'm cooking again.
I am patiently awaiting my avocado to ripen on the counter so I can have avocado toast for breakfast with an egg. Mmm. (As long as I catch the hunger before it gets bad and makes me start gagging; then I revert to cereal).
We got back on the meal planning this past weekend.
Saturday - Split Pea Soup & Grilled Cheese Sunday - Tacos Monday - Baked fish, rice, cauliflower Tuesday - Pork Tenderloin, scalloped potatoes, green beans Wednesday - Pizza Thursday - Beef Stroganoff, some veggie side Friday - Chicken Noodle soup and sandwiches

I love cooking and baking. It has been depressing that I have been too exhausted and not interested in food to even care about meals. I made pretty good vegetarian burgers last night (I didn't use a roll--cutting carbs where I can). Looking for vegetarian recipes (thanks, @MoonOverGoldsboro). I am a pescatarian so I make fish for myself.
Props to anyone cooking at any time. My husband does most of the cooking and I bake... Rare these days!
For about a year we've been doing Martha & Marleyspoon meal box deliveries for about 3 meals a week. It was worth it for us as he works fulltime shiftwork 6am-2pm with a 1hr commute and I am working fulltime with part time assignments and I'm going to school fulltime. We like their meal options and we have very little food waste. We also like their customer service over the other vendors!
@amys614 I am the EXACT same way about nostalgia foods, right down to the Prego! When I'm pregnant, I want everything I ate as a kid. My mom used to make meat sauce by mixing Prego (NOT Ragu!!) with a pound of cheap browned ground beef, and that's all I want right now. My husband is vegetarian, and I'm a vegetarian except when I'm pregnant, so I haven't fulfilled this craving yet, but I feel like I might have to do it soon...

@MoonOverGoldsboro yes exactly! Whatever ground beef mixed with prego, not ragu! Ive had it at least 4 times so far.
@bkrahn me too! I keep texting my mom saying things like "how did you make that tuna noodle casserole" Its food that she equates to tougher times because it was cheap to make and can't believe it's all I want right now.
What I wouldn't give for a piece of that square pizza they used to serve as hot lunch from market day or whatever it was on those cardboard plates. Someone knows what I'm talking about right?
Ironically I was literally going to suggest to dh making spaghetti and hamburger with preggo for supper tonight! Garlic bread on the side & possibly salad.
Someone in another thread mentioned popsicles, and I am proud to say I went out and bought some, and that was my supper tonight. No regrets, they were delicious.
