Hi everyone! Went in for my first OB appointment today (10w2d) and was only supposed to have a doppler to hear the heartbeat. The APRN couldn’t find a heartbeat, so she did a portable US and found our little munchkin! But, they still couldn’t get an exact date for when they thought I was due so they sent me in for a transvaginal US—surprise! I wasn’t supposed to have my first until January, so my husband and I were very surprised/excited. Baby is 8w6d instead, but looking good! Giant head and tiny T-Rex arms. I’ve cried about 4 times already today and can’t stopped looking at our nugget!
I love seeing all of your little beans! I am not sure I will be getting a first tri ultrasound. I spoke with an ultrasound tech affiliated with the hospital my OBGYN office is in and they said typically they don't do first tri ultrasounds. that didn't seem right to me. But I looked at my paperwork and the only US listed is anatomy between 18-20 weeks. So I guess I have to wait to see this little bean. I'm so disappointed.
@LadyJ2949 No my second, I feel way more nervous with this one 3 years later. I am going to talk to them about it when I go on the 11th. it will be my first official appointment.
This was actually from Friday at 7+5, but it has been a busy weekend and this was the first chance I've had to get on. This photogenic little peanut was measuring 8 weeks with a heart rate of 171 bpm, and this girl has officially graduated from the RE! (Putting pic in a spoiler since I am on mobile and this may be huge).

So happy to see our little 3Bean! I miscarried in early October and we weren't planning to try again until after the holidays, but this little nugget had other plans for us!
This was last Friday. I’m not as far along as I thought but I’m okay with that! I’m 8w1d today with miracle #2!!! Strong hr of 158!! I’m so happy to see so many happy little beans, y’all
Hello! Where I work we do monthly ultrasound trainings for doctors and NPs so I was able to be a model. According to my doctor I should be 10 weeks exactly but this ultrasound has me at 10 and 4. Either way everything looks great! FYI: I didn’t block the info because it’s just the generic info they use for training. Congratulations everyone!

Meet my rainbow baby who is 9w+1 on this scan with a hr of 168. Wasnt moving at all during thr scan which made me worry but I hope the little gummybear was just sleeping! Btw is it still supposed to have a yolk sac at this point? Bec i cant see any...
First pregnancy here and I loved looking through all your pictures to see what I can expect. I had my first trans v ultrasound today at 6w2d and we saw and heard the heart beat going 96bpm which they said was right on for this time. Due date stayed the same as July 29
Finally get to add my little bean to the list! Doc said everything looked great, saw the little heartbeat flickering. They moved my due date from the 7th to the 13th.
@babygagnon2018 what a small world!! They were super nice and understanding (I may or may not have panicked when they couldn’t find the heart beat the first time!)
finally got a picture of our little bean today. EDD 7/19 but i had a c-section with our son, so maybe earlier? just a relief to see it and hear a heart beat.
This ultrasound is from November 17th but I wasn’t a member yet, so I couldn’t post! am diabetic and on insulin, also hypothyroid and on meds for that, so I’ve been so nervous that my little baby wouldn’t make it. I’m still nervous! But at least I saw a strong heartbeat at 7 weeks 4 days. I have my first trimester screening on the 15th of this month and I’ll be 11 weeks 4 days. Scared that everything will be bad for me, but hoping for the best for everyone here.
@bradybunchmom89 did they say what kind of twins you have? Mono/di, etc? I'm so intrigued by your u/s photos!

I think I will find out my next appointment. Obviously they are identical. They both have separate amniotic sacs(thank God). But we aren’t sure about the placenta — I feel like the fertility clinic’s prenatal knowledge was very limited especially for twin pregnancy. So I’m anxious to go to my regular OBGYN. We feel like we saw two separate placentas but it has not been confirmed yet. I’ll keep ya updated! Fascinating, isn’t it!
Had our first U/S today! Baby's measuring at 8w6d which is right where I thought I was. They are putting my EDD at 2 days earlier (8w4d) based on LMP, even though my cycles were regularly 26 days long. Anyway, definitely teared up seeing baby move a little and, although I haven't mastered uploading pics on here, I can say that he or she looked like a gummy bear. HR was 176. So excited!
@bradybunchmom89 I wasn't sure if they had separate sacs or not. Glad to hear that they do! My best friend had identical twin girls and they had separate sacs but shared a placenta. She had no issues and the girls were very similar weights when they were born at 37 weeks. I am so fascinated by identical twins!

I think it is more common to share a placenta than not with identical so I won’t be surprised if that is the case. I love hearing full term identical twins stories!! That’s my goal!
@bradybunchmom89 so cool to see identicals! These were ours at 6w4d-definitely fraternal they are in completely separate sacs. I’m 9w3d now and get to see them again next Monday. Can’t wait to see how they have grown!

So I have been a bit MIA because my anxiety was really high after my first appt. I needed to step back and couldn't fully enjoy being pregnant. Had my follow up appt and baby is right on track from where they measured two weeks ago. I can FINALLY relax and connect to this pregnancy so I am super excited! Hearing that heartbeat was sooo soothing although I forgot to ask the bpm! Here is my little gummy bear! Hoping to jump back on the board and participate more now!

Measuring 7 weeks 2 days, just a day behind. Doctor was very pleased with everything. On the no sex order until after 12 weeks, I'm okay with that, dh, not so much. Still, very happy.

My OB decided to give my an ultrasound today even though I have one next week scheduled! She couldn’t find the baby and after five or so minutes she turned the screen to show me an empty uterus. As she started to tell me nothing was there, a baby popped out! We were both so relieved and I definitely cried. Saw the heartbeat fluttering and little arms waving. I couldn’t believe how much like a baby it looked like! She said baby is the size of a lime even though I’m only 9w4d... but she’s going to keep my original due date for now. Same thing happened with my son that he was always measuring two weeks ahead! I didn’t get a photo because I always forget about such things in the moment and this was a really emotional one! My OB says that my upside down uterus might be the culprit for the difficult to find baby!

My Duo are thriving. Measuring at 9w0d and 9w1d (I was 9w0d) and heartbeats were at 172 and 169. I just love them!
