2) How are you feeling? Sore and tired. Seriously, I miss sleep. And the pressure in my hips/back is ridiculous. I feel like it's too early for this much discomfort.
3) Any appointments this week/last? Just had an appointment this morning, heartbeat is good, baby is measuring on track. My bp was a little wonky at first, but fine with she rechecked it. Next appointment is in 2 weeks, then every week after that!
4) How are baby preparations going? Much better!! My glider was delivered yesterday and I love it. The room is finally coming together. Will be picking up the rest of the furniture next weekend. This weekend I will be making freezer meals!
5) Rants/Raves/Questions? Rant: DS has a cold and it's miserable. He's so sneezy and fevery. Which means he is not sleeping. Rave: I'm feeling so good about having this baby, and I'm so glad it's getting so close!
6) GTKY - Favorite baby item that you've bought or received? I LOVE my crib and the sign I had made.
Sorry for the novel; I don't have any desire to do work anymore, so I am spending as much time as possible Bumping etc.
1) How far along are you? How big is baby? I am 35 weeks. Baby is the size of a bunch of carrots, which seems right! I am having a hard time with 35 weeks. Part of me is like “OMG I am 35 freaking weeks” and another part is like, “is it really only 35 weeks?” For some reason, 36 weeks has always stuck in my mind as “okay, baby will be here ASAP.”
2) How are you feeling? Ehh I don’t know; it changes daily. I guess overall I am pretty good. I still throw up (especially around 9 PM at night) and many times I feel like I can’t breathe… but, all things considered, it isn’t awful… no back pain, no hip pain, no carpel tunnel… Cervix is starting to hurt intermittently but I mean of course!
3) Any appointments this week/last? Last week I had an appointment and a for fun 3D Ultrasound. All looks well! I go next Thursday and am VERY happy to be starting weekly appointments with cervical checks. I like knowing what is going on with my body, and I can take “sick” days at work!
4) How are baby preparations going? Not bad! Bought/washed NB and 0-3 month clothes. Still need to get 2-3 more newborn sized PJs for LO. Ordered blackout curtains to go in between the decorative ones I already have. DH is going to pull out the pack n’ play, RNP, Swing, mats, etc. this weekend and we are going to set them up throughout the house. And I WILL PACK MY HOSPITAL BAG THIS WEEKEND, lol. Also, I am going on Amazon NOW to order wipes and NB size diapers.
5) Rants/Raves/Questions? For some reason, I woke up stressed and irritable today. I hate that. I do think it is getting better though, and I have a “break” at work where I do not need to interact with anyone from 12:30-3. I have work to do, but I can do it with my door shut… thinking about going and getting a good lunch too since it is the time of day I can really keep food down.
One for fun question: Who thinks they will go early or late and why?
For some reason DH, my dad and I suspect I will go early… I think I do only because I was early (5 days) with DD. My mom, however, who had her first baby 5 days early and her second a week late, thinks I could just as likely be late. Lol. I have no reason to think anything really!
6) GTKY - Favorite baby item that you've bought or received? I was HAPPY with the enclosed bookshelf we found for his room because it wasn’t much money and fits perfectly (our nursery is small), but the item I LIKE the most are the $60 (lol lol lol) book ends I bought for his room. Obviously I love them, since I spent way too much on them.
@maueraa07 With you on the sleep… although last night wasn’t the worst ever, lol. Sorry about the hip and back pain. I hope LO moves and you get some relief over the next 5-9 weeks! I totally love that sign too! So cute!

2) How are you feeling? I have a cold. Pregnancy related, the stretching/burning pain I’m getting at my rib cage hurtssss. My belly is overall just really tight and full.
3) Any appointments this week/last? None this week. Last week was a standard prenatal visit. Also, my doula came over. Was so great to see her. Pumped for the big day.
4) How are baby preparations going? Great actually. Nursery is done. Bought a bunch of clothes and some gear we needed last week. Need to get diapers. Otherwise, focusing on getting a hospital bag together, washing clothes, wiping down gear, freezer meals etc.
5) Rants/Raves/Questions? So happy to be almost done. Ready to just enjoy the holidays, my family, the new baby and some much needed time from work. My boss always says he doesn’t want to stresss our the pregnant lady but he definitely stresses me out. He is in panic mode about my departure and I am over being logged in for 50+ hours a week at this point.
6) GTKY - Favorite baby item that you've bought or received?
I love the new rocker we got but honestly, I think I’m mostly pumped about all of the girl clothes this time haha.
@EmilyLove25 My intuition says this babe will be born in December. Idk if that is wishful thinking though? I was induced with DS. Also everyone that has a comment on my pregnancy says I’m going in December. No clue what makes them say that. Either way, I’m starting natural methods at 36 weeks.

2) How are you feeling?
Doing alright, aches and pains come and go, like sciatica and hip/leg pain in the morning b/c of sleeping on my side, but other than that I'm okay.
3) Any appointments this week/last?
Last week, and it went well. Baby passed the BPP really quickly, and we're doing another one next week at my next appointment.
4) How are baby preparations going?
Good, the furniture is getting delivered tomorrow! Yay! Then i can finally start putting all the stuff i have so far away in drawers which will be nice b/c i can't stand clutter.
5) Rants/Raves/Questions?
Rant but also a Rave: Because we're not really having a baby shower (we're having one supposedly after baby is born), i bought almost everything off my Registry. I've been keeping track of the cost, and it's crazy! I made a huge ($600) purchase on Cyber Monday, and all that stuff is supposed to be coming in the next few days. So exciting! (but my bank account is definitely crying a little haha)
6) GTKY - Favorite baby item that you've bought or received?
Wow, what a hard question. I bought a Tigger outfit and some classic Winnie the Pooh outfits that i love. I also got some cat bookends that look like our cats, and a tabby cat WubbaNuba pacifier

2) How are you feeling?
still feeling pretty good, increased pressure in my pelvis which is just SUPER fun, but it means he's moving that direction which I'll take! I decided to use the leaf blower for 90 minutes yesterday so my lower back is not super happy with me, but my driveway is leaf free which makes me happy. The swelling hasn't come back which is also great (I am still wearing compression socks more often just to try and get ahead of it though), minor heartburn (which makes me wonder if this kiddo is coming out bald lol) on occasion but overall seriously not feeling too bad at all. I wake up every day wondering if this is the day it will all go sideways and I'll spend the next 4 weeks wanting to die lol.
3) Any appointments this week/last?
Yesterday went in for my 35 week check, saw a new midwife in the practice. She is who I'll see the last 2 weeks of Dec too and who will decide if we are going to strip my membranes etc (If I'm already dilating and effaced we're going to try and move that along). She said everything looks good, thinks hes long and skinny since he doesn't feel huge but is stretched from my ribs to my pelvis lol.
4) How are baby preparations going?
Um. ok. I got on our amazon registry and bought a bunch of stuff that was on sale for Thanksgiving and Black Friday so we have a LOT of boxes arriving at the house that is overwhelming our entry way and making me twitchy. I'm also trying to purge the rest of our crap so we have room for all the baby crap. I just need to schedule a pick up time for the Salvation Army to come by so I have a hard deadline......

So, I found the cutest mobile on etsy, it was perfect for our theme, just the wooden cross bar frame with landmarks like the eiffel tower, big ben, a globe, statue of liberty etc hanging from it. I sent my girlfriends a pic lamenting that it was expensive and I wouldn't buy it for myself. And then hormones took over and I totally bought it for myself.
And then at my last baby shower they gave me a recreation of it (that looks almost identical) that one of the girls made. So now I need to figure out how to use both of them bc I can't return the etsy one but I can't not use the one my friend put so much work into!
