8 weeks, raspberry

Any new symptoms this week?

more nauseous but less tired.

Upcoming appointments?
Had my first appointment yesterday! All looked fine. Only issue was that I nearly passed out after my blood work. I don’t think I ate enough combined with being anxious about needles, did not go well.

How far along are you? Size of baby? 9 weeks according to my LMP, but baby was measuring a little small at my U/S on Monday so my dr pushed by due date back by a few days. I'm not changing anything though, as she said it likely won't matter in the end. Baby is a cherry!

Any new symptoms this week?
Monday and yesterday were the worst days of this pregnancy so far. Super sick all day, and absolutely exhausted. I went to bed at 8pm last night when I put my son to bed and slept until 6am this morning. Today I feel glorious (except for 20-30 minutes of pretty intense nausea) and I am pretty sure it was the 10 hours of almost uninturrupted sleep!

Upcoming appointments?
Had my first appt and u/s on Monday and everything went great! Baby looked perfect and my dr. said I am an excellent candidate for a VBAC, as she thinks with my son he just didn't tolerate labor well since he was so small. I am very excited about that!

I am loving that our board is getting more active the last couple weeks!! Let's do this ladies!

9 weeks, baby is a Southern Pecan

Any new symptoms this week?
Oh man! My back has been OUT! And so it begins. I've been laying on heating pads and trying to get my husband to work out the knots in my shoulders, but the poor man is pretty inept. I have my first pre-natal massage planned for exactly 12 weeks and I CANNOT WAIT. @stlmegs I think we're twins this week, only Sunday was my bad day. I feel like the MS is moving out of constant territory into the day either being horrible and bad and I can keep nothing down, or I feel pretty good with it just being a spectre ready to haunt me if I don't eat. My body is still processing food extra quickly, which is no fun, and worries me because I'm already not eating that much to begin with. This kid is gonna start eating my bones.

Upcoming appointments?
Monday I meet my prospective CNM for the first time. We're going to have a long sit-down where they explain everything baby to me (yawn), my options with genetic testing (cool) and get yet another US (yay!). I can't wait. I'm ready to have my baby delivery on lock!

Rant against my boobs. Last night I woke up to roll over, and just shifting the weight from one side to the other made my breasts cry out like they were being ripped off of my body. NOPE.

@christycalifornia I am sorry for your boob problems but YAY for that awesome gif. One of my favorite movies EVER!! I loved her character. I related with her so much when I was that age (read: total tomboy).

How far along are you? Size of baby? 6 weeks - sweet pea

Any new symptoms this week? I had some nausea yesterday for the first time, which was actually reassuring. Since I can't see the baby to know that it's doing ok, I'm taking every new symptom as a good sign.

Upcoming appointments? Next US is 12/11 to see the heartbeat (I'll be 7 weeks 5 days). I'm annoyed that my first US was too early to see one. ETA: I NEED to know that this baby will stick around. I do NOT trust my body.

Rants/Raves/Questions? Random but I bought a Roomba on Cyber Monday and I'm REALLY excited to finally have clean floors. I'm lazy AF when it comes to vacuuming.

Next appointment is one week from today. Ultrasound and then consult/testing info/setup with the High Risk OB.

My work BFF co-teacher called in sick today, and all I want to do is go home and go back to sleep. I'm so tired I literally cried this morning. But of course we already have 3 teachers out and no subs so I need to figure out what to do with the 7th/8th grade class. I have a few ideas already for the 9-12 class.

Pukey toddler problems today

How far along are you? Size of baby? - 7 weeks, tic tac/blueberry

Any new symptoms this week? - nope, still next to nothing. Though I did almost puke rinsing pukey crib sheets last night.

Upcoming appointments? - US next week (to be booked still...hopefully mon/tues), GP on Thurs

Rants/Raves/Questions? - of course, the day we list our house for sale one of my twins gets gastro. And pukes blackberries & blueberries on our newly replaced cream carpet. I do not have time for this shit. Also, it is next to impossible to keep a house in show condition with two toddlers, a golden retriever and a cat.

@comealongponds AHH!!! I am sorry to hear about the sick kiddo (and the carpet). I said the same thing about keeping my house clean when it was on the market, and I only had one toddler and a dog and was not pregnant. Dude....

Still tired. Still some food aversions. Grateful to have recovered from my stomach bug.

Waiting another two weeks...

Insurer says I need an authorization for cell-free fetal DNA test. Dr said she thought it would be covered, but now says she doesn't think being 35 before delivery counts (I'm 34 now). She says I need to try to speak with the geneticist. Guessing he will be hard to reach. I hate calling people.

Ugh that’s frustrating about the test! I feel like if you are 35 when you deliver that should count! I need to call my insurance because I’m just assuming they’ll cover because I’m 36.

I really need a maid, but my DH is not going for it since I am not working and the girls are in full time preschool. Every time I try to do the dishes or clean I get sick. Ugh I just want a clean house without throwing up.

@mikayla14mom I'll let you know how well my Roomba works when it arrives tomorrow. It's the cheapest, most basic model. I do work full time so MH cuts me a lot of slack on the housework, but he was annoyingly excited to "finally have clean floors." He also said "Now if we could just get a robot that will clean the toilets we'd be all set."

Any new symptoms this week? Nothing new. Still a tiny bit of breast tenderness and occasional cramping, but that's it.

Upcoming appointments? My first one is next Tuesday.

Rants/Raves/Questions? I am STILL super nervous and not terribly convinced that I can get my hopes up just yet. I know all you ladies with bad nausea are gonna think this is dumb, but I wish I just had some freaking MS! I think I'd feel better! LOL.

I just realized what you all call the 'ticker'! So obvs I am a day late.

How far along are you? Size of baby? 8 weeks, dancing raspberry

Any new symptoms this week? My appetite has gone back to normal, I'm not ravenous all of the time and have gone back to reminding myself to eat.

Upcoming appointments? Our dating ultrasound is next week and DH is excited to go with me and finally meet my OB (that I have been working with to help solve my unspecified infertility).

Rants/Raves/Questions? Zits have started to populate my chest! I don't remember having body pimples when I was a teenager
