Hello moms-to-be that are already moms! Let's see what's up this week! If you don't want to follow the prompts, that's perfectly ok. If you're not sure what you want to write about, below are some prompts/ideas.
1) What are you most excited about with your kid(s) for Christmas this year?
2) So far, does this pregnancy feel like your other pregnancy(s)? Does this make you speculate on whether this one is a boy or girl?
3) What part of the baby stage are you most looking forward to being able to experience again?
4) What part of the baby stage are you most dreading this time around?
5) What one product would you buy all over again if you didn't have any baby things from your last child(ren)?

First Son - born 2013
Second Son - born 2014 - Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome (HLHS) and Double Outlet Right Ventricle (DORV). First open heart surgery at 5 days old. He's had 3 open heart surgeries and several other procedures and is currently doing amazing.
Third Son - due June 9, 2018
Re: STM+ Check In 11/29
2) So far, does this pregnancy feel like your other pregnancy(s)? Does this make you speculate on whether this one is a boy or girl? So far my symptoms are the same as my previous pregnancies, which makes me feel like this one is another boy. But my mother never had morning sickness with me or my brother and tells me her only difference in the pregnancies is how she carried us (which obviously isn't apparent at this stage).
3) What part of the baby stage are you most looking forward to being able to experience again? Wonderful cuddles and "milk drunk" sleepy smiles from the baby.
4) What part of the baby stage are you most dreading this time around? I NEED this one to be a good sleeper. DS2 didn't sleep through the night until he was 16 months.
5) What one product would you buy all over again if you didn't have any baby things from your last child(ren)? Nose Freida. That thing seems gross, but SO much more effective than a bulb. I've been tempted to use it on my 3 year old as he still refuses to actually blow his nose.

1) What are you most excited about with your kid(s) for Christmas this year?
I'm really anxious to see how she does with all the lights and sparkle and presents!
2) So far, does this pregnancy feel like your other pregnancy(s)? Does this make you speculate on whether this one is a boy or girl?
So far, it's pretty similar. MS, acne, and extreme fatigue. This makes me thinks its a girl again, but subconsciously i slip with "he" a lot. BUT i think i do that because i know DH wants a boy (we'll be happy either way, but DH lost his brother when he was 17, and wants to name a boy after him).
3) What part of the baby stage are you most looking forward to being able to experience again?
The snuggles!!! DD only snuggles when SHE wants to now, which isn't very often haha I also miss that fact that I can sit a baby down and THEY DON'T MOVE.
4) What part of the baby stage are you most dreading this time around?
Feeding. I hate the stress of not knowing if they are getting enough, and then cluster feeding sucks, and the middle of the night feedings suck and the battle between breastfeeding and formula. Ugh.
5) What one product would you buy all over again if you didn't have any baby things from your last child(ren)?
The BabyBum Brush. hands down.
Married March 2016

1) What are you most excited about with your kid(s) for Christmas this year? DD(3) already gets so excited when we see Christmas lights while driving. Can’t wait to take her to see Santa. DS (17m) is going to hate him. I hope we get a hilarious picture. DDs was so funny at that age but my husband’s grandmother took them all back to Argentina, so i don’t even have a copy.
2) So far, does this pregnancy feel like your other pregnancy(s)? Does this make you speculate on whether this one is a boy or girl? Everything has been the same thus far as the prior two. No MS, just tired and achy. I just knew the sex of my prior two but have no guy feeling with this LO. The ultrasound tech thinks it’s a boy base on my NT scan (at 14w). I was only slightly hoping for another girl because DH’s family is super annoying about carrying on the “family name”. DS is the only grandson thus far.
3) What part of the baby stage are you most looking forward to being able to experience again? Those milk drink smiles, when you pick them up and they do that super cute back arching stretch,
4) What part of the baby stage are you most dreading this time around? Trying to get out of the house with 3u4. DH travels for work quite a bit, so I have to run errands with the kids most weeks.
5) What one product would you buy all over again if you didn't have any baby things from your last child(ren)? A new infant bucket seat. I dislike the lack of head support in ours.
Everything. It's DD first Christmas.... so it's all new. I think we are going to take her to see Santa this weekend.- crying baby picture may be posted next week
2) So far, does this pregnancy feel like your other pregnancy(s)? Does this make you speculate on whether this one is a boy or girl?
I think it feels a bit different. I just have a gut feeling it's a boy.
3) What part of the baby stage are you most looking forward to being able to experience again?
Just how little they are. DD is still a baby- and is in such a fun stage so I can't wait to do this stage again but I'm in it now so it's not something I'm nostalgic for.
4) What part of the baby stage are you most dreading this time around?
The sleep. Like @mytinc said, DD was a horrible sleeper and I NEED this one to be better. I cannot do the all night nursing sessions again.
5) What one product would you buy all over again if you didn't have any baby things from your last child(ren)?
Baby Merlin's Miracle SleepSuit. I should just pick up a few in a bigger size just in case this is a boy (and boys tend to be bigger) anyway.
BFP#4- 9/26 edd 6/5/18
2.) Boy/Girl Speculation: I feel the same this pregnancy as my first 2. (Same level of morning sickness.) I have a boy and a girl so this could be either. I have no gut feeling. I did with my other pregnancies but I was wrong both times.
4.) Dreading: Sleep deprivation. DS has never been a good sleeper. DD was better but the first few months were still a blur.
That's all for now... DD is waking from a nap.
DS (almost 3) is so excited this year about Santa and all the lights. He actually started looking through the toy book and showing me what he wanted to ask Santa for. It's so cute!
2) So far, does this pregnancy feel like your other pregnancy(s)? Does this make you speculate on whether this one is a boy or girl?
With DS I had no MS at all. I felt a little tired but could manage, and overall just felt really good. This pregnancy has not been like that at all. I've felt like complete crap since about the 6th week. Not so much vomiting, but being nauseous a lot has not been fun, and smells have been bothering me a lot more than normal. Not to mention all the breakouts on my face and how oily my air gets after 1 day....Based on how different this pregnancy is, I would speculate that this baby is a girl. Guess we will see on 1/2/18!
3) What part of the baby stage are you most looking forward to being able to experience again?
I'm looking forward to the cuddling and breastfeeding. I loved the bonding time I had with DS and it made me feel so needed. With DS being so independent now, he hardly wants to cuddle or let me do anything with him. Not to mention he's really into DH right now, so I've kinda taken a back seat to him.
4) What part of the baby stage are you most dreading this time around?
The sleeping. DS was so good and slept in about 3-hour stretches till he was 6 weeks old and then slept all night. I just have a feeling that I was blessed with DS being such a good sleeper that I'll be cursed with this one!
5) What one product would you buy all over again if you didn't have any baby things from your last child(ren)?
I would buy the uppa baby stroller/car seat combo. One of my new mommy friends has one and it is AMAZING! I have a Graco one from DS and it's so rickety compared to that one!
2) So far, does this pregnancy feel like your other pregnancy(s)? Does this make you speculate on whether this one is a boy or girl? I'm more tired, more nauseated and my boobs hurt more. Also, my cravings / dislikes are very different. But, I don't have acne or any more of the "girl" old wives tales. So I have no idea!
3) What part of the baby stage are you most looking forward to being able to experience again? I don't know if this is what I'm looking forward to, but I'd really like to try BFing again and make it work. I realize I'm setting myself up for disappointment and I have to come to terms with the fact that it may not work. But I really want it to. Any TTMs have better luck BFing the second time around?
4) What part of the baby stage are you most dreading this time around? God, the sleep deprivation.
5) What one product would you buy all over again if you didn't have any baby things from your last child(ren)? The swing. The crib. The changing pad (Keekaroo!).
First Son - born 2013

@marcus7676 It was not always easy for me with either child, but no matter how bad it got, I kept telling myself it would eventually get better. I don't know how many times I told DH I was done.
I'm not sure what your particular issues were, or if you ever talked to an LC, but I wish you the best of luck!
1) What are you most excited about with your kid(s) for Christmas this year?
I'm excited to watch them open gifts, but I'm especially excited about watching Christmas movies with DD.
2) So far, does this pregnancy feel like your other pregnancy(s)? Does this make you speculate on whether this one is a boy or girl?
This pregnancy is weird. It's almost like it's been a combination of both pregnancies, which leaves me with no speculation.
3) What part of the baby stage are you most looking forward to being able to experience again?
I love the newness of the adjustment period, when you first get home from the hospital and are still trying to figure each other out.
4) What part of the baby stage are you most dreading this time around?
I nursed DD until 21 months, and am still nursing DS (14 months.) I have never once regretted the decision to BF and love that I get to bond in such a special way with my babies, but that being said, I WANT MY BOOBS BACK!
I absolutely hate pumping, but since I worked outside the home, I had to while they were in daycare. With DS, I got mastitis immediately after returning to work (boo!!!) and that kind of put a damper on things for awhile. I am not exactly dreading BF, but I will definitely be excited when baby is old enough for table food.
5) What one product would you buy all over again if you didn't have any baby things from your last child(ren)?
@mytinc I liked the NoseFreida, but once I got the NeilMed Naspira, I converted. I like it because it's clear, so you can see what you have removed, but it is interchangeable, so it can be used as a bulb sucker, if desired. My three-year-old actually asks to use it sometimes (but not as often as she probably should)

DD is almost 2 1/2 this Christmas so I just feel like she will be more excited about participating in everything!
2) So far, does this pregnancy feel like your other pregnancy(s)? Does this make you speculate on whether this one is a boy or girl?
I guess slightly less morning sickness this time and no acne. With DD I had such bad acne on my chin especially and it’s nonexistent this time... so maybe a boy??
3) What part of the baby stage are you most looking forward to being able to experience again?
DD was never a cuddler so I’m hoping I have one that’s more into that this time around!
4) What part of the baby stage are you most dreading this time around?
I guess just the night time feedings, I love sleep so much and I know it will be a rough first few months. DD was only waking up once a night by about 5 months so I will just hope for the same again!
5) What one product would you buy all over again if you didn't have any baby things from your last child(ren)?
Video monitor! I didn’t buy one until DD was a few months old but it absolutely made me feel better being able to check on her without going in her room and waking her up!
@marcus7676 I am with you on the breastfeeding. I had a bad experience with staff trying to “help” me and was so frustrated and gave up too soon. With all the hormones it was a huge emotional deal even for several weeks after. I hope to give it a better and more honest try this time.
2) So far, does this pregnancy feel like your other pregnancy(s)? Does this make you speculate on whether this one is a boy or girl? I've had one of each and I go in and out of comparing them. I do have symptoms I've never had before so that throws me for a loop. A few weeks ago I was craving all sweets and fruit which made me feel like it was a girl because that's all I craved with my daughter. But this week, I'm more in the savory boat and now I'm just confused!
3) What part of the baby stage are you most looking forward to being able to experience again? Smelling that sweet baby smell on their sweet peach fuzzy hair! I am also looking forward to nursing again. It's weird because nursing goes in and out of sucking pretty badly when you're in the moment, but I have very vivid and happy memories of nursing my son and him smiling up at me while he was nursing because he was just so happy I was home from work.
4) What part of the baby stage are you most dreading this time around? I am dreading the sleep part. Before, it didn't matter if we got up and going in the morning because when my son was born my daughter was only 2 and she would nap and was super chill. This time....I have a 7 year old and my boy will be 5......there isn't a lot of napping going on and they will be home for summer break too so they will want to be going places and doing things and mommy will just want to take naps!
5) What one product would you buy all over again if you didn't have any baby things from your last child(ren)? Sound machine! That was a game changer when we got it for our daughter. She was a very restless sleeper, but once we put the white noise in her room, she started sleeping better. We still use it in the kids room now.
BFP#4- 9/26 edd 6/5/18
DD is 6 so she's really into the magic of Santa and Christmas movies and all of the family traditions. I'm just excited to keep the magic alive and watch her face light up on Christmas morning!
2) So far, does this pregnancy feel like your other pregnancy(s)? Does this make you speculate on whether this one is a boy or girl?
I had some mild MS with DD but it seemed to come and go. This pregnancy, I've been nauseous from morning to night with no reprieve since about 6 weeks along. I've also had terrible headaches and acne which I didn't have with DD. All of the old wives tales pointed to girl and I thought girl before we got our NIPT results which said boy!
3) What part of the baby stage are you most looking forward to being able to experience again?
Breastfeeding. I don't think I had the right support with DD to stick it out and I was also in a different stage of life (single mom, commuting to college classes an hour and a half each way to finish my Bachelor's and working part time). I'm so excited to commit to BF'ing for a year. And also all of the little baby noises, snuggles and smiles!
4) What part of the baby stage are you most dreading this time around?
Lack of sleep! DD was a decent sleeper but slept with me until she was almost 2. She's a great sleeper now and hardly deviates from normal bedtime even on special occasions so changing up our sleep schedule is going to be a little rough at first.
Last year he was a newborn and this year he’s just turned one so he isn’t going to “get it” per se, but we get to go through all the fun motions of Christmas with him, and that’s going to be pretty fun for us.
2) So far, does this pregnancy feel like your other pregnancy(s)? Does this make you speculate on whether this one is a boy or girl?
Not at all. I’ve been so much sicker than I was with him. When I told my OB she even said, “well, this one might be a girl.” Of course there’s no way to know but it has me wondering if we might have a baby sister on the way this time.
3) What part of the baby stage are you most looking forward to being able to experience again?
All the baby snuggles.
4) What part of the baby stage are you most dreading this time around?
I’m scared about the newborn stage. DS was an angel unicorn sleeper that was sleeping through the night at 2mons. I’m terrified I’m going to get a more challenging sleeper this time and how I’m going to handle it with two. Last time, DH and I slept in shifts.
5) What one product would you buy all over again if you didn't have any baby things from your last child(ren)?
The fisher price sitmeup. I have used the crap out of that thing. Sometimes baby doesn’t want to lay down, but they will sit in that comfortably. I still use it even though he’s at the top of the weight range for it, because it’s perfect. Sometimes you need to trap a kid so you can make lunch or poop in peace.
he's at such a fun excitable age. I'm excited to take him to see lights this year, we didn't make it last year.
2) So far, does this pregnancy feel like your other pregnancy(s)? Does this make you speculate on whether this one is a boy or girl?
ehh, it has a few similarities. But some are different. which I wasn't expecting since this is a boy also.
3) What part of the baby stage are you most looking forward to being able to experience again?
not newborn lol. probably few months old to 1 yr. they're so cute, its my fav.
4) What part of the baby stage are you most dreading this time around? newborn! sleep was rough with DS. I'm scared how i'll feel with DS waking up at 7am everyday on top of it.
5) What one product would you buy all over again if you didn't have any baby things from your last child(ren)?
rock n play. I'm getting a second this time for the downstairs!

fingers crossed for our rainbow baby
2) So far, does this pregnancy feel like your other pregnancy(s)? Does this make you speculate on whether this one is a boy or girl? Feels pretty similar...a little more nausea but still not a ton compared to many, super tired (but, duh, I have a one YO...haha). Makes me wonder if it's another boy or just how my body reacts to pregnancy. I'm (not so) secretly hoping for a girl because I really want a daughter and this is probably our last, so we'll see. (p.s. it always makes me nervous to say that because I don't want people to judge for hoping for a certain gender, I hope it goes without saying that I will be over the moon happy with a healthy baby...but I'll just say it anyway
3) What part of the baby stage are you most looking forward to being able to experience again? Those newborn cuddles, when they sleep on you and can sleep through ANYTHING. And you guys, I forgot about those little milk drunk smiles...now I need to go add to the "why my pregnant self is crying" post.
4) What part of the baby stage are you most dreading this time around? Dear god, the sleep...DS did good (typical up every 3-4 hours) until.the 4 month sleep regression...that lasted until 6 months. He's really just started sleeping through the night in the last few weeks (13 months) and I've just got to go with his 5:30am wake up time. Im scared hiw tired I'll be waking up at that time, having been up all night with a newborn.
5) What one product would you buy all over again if you didn't have any baby things from your last child(ren)? There are many...I think for my sanity, a baby carrier (I love the baby K'tan) and our jogging stroller (I got a used BOB at a yard sale). Being a SAHM and living 30 minutes from the "city", I go on lots of walks and runs around the neighborhood especially on days where I don't have a reason to leave the house. When he was little, I carried him and now he loves riding. Other things I wouldn't go without: video monitor, sound machine, rock n play, backpack diaper bag, swaddles/merlins magic sleepsuit. (okay...that's way more than one...sorry)
2. Boobs hurt more. Nausea is less predictable. My hair isn’t falling out... in general it’s been pretty different so far. A lot of the symptoms I’ve been having are symptoms I only experienced in my late second trimester/ early third trimester with DD.. so for that reason, I think maybe boy? But I always dream of girls, so idk.
3. Newborn cuddles & those first “coos”
4. Just the adjustment period after bringing baby home. With DD it was SO so hard, and the baby blues didn’t help either.
5. Our Summer Infant video monitor! I don’t know how I would live without it
Seeing her face when she opens her gifts this year now that she's starting to express her likes for more things.
2) So far, does this pregnancy feel like your other pregnancy(s)? Does this make you speculate on whether this one is a boy or girl?
A lot of it feels the same, although I feel like the constant nausea was worse this time...and I think I'm craving donuts a little less
3) What part of the baby stage are you most looking forward to being able to experience again?
The snuggles without a doubt
4) What part of the baby stage are you most dreading this time around?
Not sleeping
5) What one product would you buy all over again if you didn't have any baby things from your last child(ren)?
Our sound machine was a lifesaver
2) It feels the same as both of my others, and those were girl/boy, so who knows? Lol
3) the snuggles and the tiny baby smiles
4) not sleeping
5) the swing! It has always been a lifesaver for me
My 17mo is finally in the "magic of iChristmas" stage and I LOVE it!
2) So far, does this pregnancy feel like your other pregnancy(s)? Does this make you speculate on whether this one is a boy or girl?
So exhausted, way more than the others. I really feel like this is another boy
3) What part of the baby stage are you most looking forward to being able to experience again?
Just the excitement of all the 1sts
4) What part of the baby stage are you most dreading this time around?
Newborn crappy sleep!
5) What one product would you buy all over again if you didn't have any baby things from your last child(ren)?
Rock n play (and I already bought one lol)
