I know the feeling, getting over the MC hump. I was that way too. Hang in there! I know I gained around 5 lbs from stims, but the thought of having to gain 30 lbs total during pregnancy is making me anxious. It's very difficult for me to gain weight believe it or not. This is a great problem to have typically but not at this moment. I don't have any indigestion.

It's strange that so far I'm not feeling pregnant? I wonder if this is still all real and going on in there. I haven't felt any movement either. This morning I thought I felt a pitter patter but it could've been gas? I'm also anxiously awaiting the quickening. When is your last RE appointment going to be?

@Hopeful_mom - yes, they have me on endometrin and PIO. We did the first PIO shot last night. It's not easy!

Hi ladies! Just checking in and reading all your updates! Excited to see that you all are doing quite well and moving along!

TW pregnancy mentioned
I'm 13 weeks 4 days pregnant. I've had terrible morning sickness so much so that I've lost 17 lbs. No vomiting just feed aversion. It's starting to lessen now, thank goodness.

I had some spotting when I strained for a bowel movement and a coughing fit. Dr. Said my cervix must be sensitive. She gave me a rhogam shot since I'm O neg. I was certainly worried.

Had prenatal screening and NT test. Not high risk for downs, Trisomy 18 or 13. And.... it's a boy! At the last ultrasound he had the hiccups. So fun to see.

@JaeJayStark looks like you're still with the rest of the September Ladies being as sick as can be! Any tips on the NT scan test? I'm getting now nervous for that one. Congrats on ur prince how exciting!!! Spotting is very scary I've been having it since the seventh week so I'm hoping that will on it way soon along with the nausea!!!

@helloworld9 I heard during the NT scan with the other tests that they run u could have them run the test for gender too.

Technically I'm 11w5days but my overachiever is measuring 12wk3days

The clot he called an SCH today which is scary but still small enough he's not concerned today. I will feel better when it goes away because those are not such great things to have especially throughout the pregnancy.

@Hopeful_mom So the NIPT will tell you the gender, along with other chromosomal screens. It's bloodwork and can be done as early as 10 weeks.

Ladies It's been a day, my brown spotting turned to red so u can imagine the heart attack I was having!! Luckily the dr agreed to see me before leaving for the day! Thank g-d pnut is looking good and strong but I'm a mess

They say I need to take it easy which I'm doing!!! Ugh this is gonna be some pregnancy. And of course everyone at the office today had big ol bellys in the waiting room! I want that to be me already!!

The SCH is still the same size so I don't get it as he assumes that's where the bleeding is coming from...I thought it would've shrunk a lil.

How are you all doing? My first IVF has failed so my DH and I are back on the drawing board. We've found a new clinic and we had our first appt last 11/20. I and DH had some blood work done and we'd get the results on 12/2. My heart still aches a bit but I'm hanging on. Thinking about you guys who are now PAIF gives me much encouragement especially on times like these. I hope that all is well and I can't wait to hear the blessed news that you're holding your precious babies in your arms.

@tinjp78 (((hugs))) my second beta is tomorrow morning, but it's not looking good. I peed on a cheapie, and there was nothing there. So. We will go through the motions with what I imagine will be our last PIO shot for this cycle, probably stop meds after tomorrow's beta, wait for AF, put in for the insurance auth, and hopefully get to transfer again during the week I'm taking off before Christmas. But who knows. Hopefully the nurse can tell me tomorrow or Thursday when our next realistic transfer date might be. :/ dust ourselves off.

I will say tho, I am so glad I tested early. For those couple of blissful days, when I knew I was pregnant... I just feel so grateful for that taste of motherhood. I'm grateful I got to feel that joy, that hope, what it's going to feel like to finally have our dream start to come true. Hopefully we just get farther along next time...

TW pregnancy

So far just chugging along and hoping for a healthy baby by the end of it. I had one screening test (AFP) come back positive for downs, which was a scary time. So they drew my blood again for another screening test (NIPT), which came back negative, and they consider that more accurate so I'm in the clear. Not a fun couple of a weeks. But I still can't believe I've reached this stage. It's as if I've been dreaming and working towards it for so long and it's here. The struggle is so hard and I pray every single one of you here will have your baby soon.

and the aide is still super scary!!! Didn't think I would have an update till my OB next week but my body has other plans

NAUSEA is still kicking my ass and then sat I woke up with a rash on my back. I feel awful all the time BUT due to the pregnancy still said I need to get to a dr. Dr thought shingles but wanted the dermatologist to confirm. Well Dermatologist says it's shingles , he sent the test out but he said even if the test is negative he still says it's shingles. They're not blisters yet so there wasn't much puss to get. It's very early stages and a mild case hopefully. Just nervous for the next steps.

Dr gave me antibiotics and he and OB say it's ok to take it as it's on the list B for meds that are ok but of course I'm worried.

Called the high risk dr to discuss next with her. I'm so angry that this has happened!! Just praying this won't hurt the baby!!

it would've been better if I was farther along like 20 weeks, I'm 13weeks 6days so just have to pray things will be ok!!

@Hopeful_mom I would be scared about shingles and medication too. I think antibiotics are safe to take though, at least the not so powerful ones.

@Hopeful_mom oh no! Shingles does not sound like fun. Fx it clears up for you soon. I'm going to have to look more into that - like if that's a not-so-uncommon pregnancy side effect??? Bodies are weird. (((Hugs))) weird and wonderful ;)

AFM - Not sure how much everyone still lurks the other threads, but we have a transfer date! 12/22 is the Friday before Christmas, and Beta day is 12/31! Hopefully, it will be a Very Happy New Year!!! 15 more days...

So far it has been hard to get as hopeful or excited as the first time - I suppose that's only natural tho. My mom will be coming to visit and stay over, so we'll need to keep her occupied... tell her we have a meeting, site visit or something that afternoon, or meeting with the accountant lol so she doesn't feel the need to come along! :# And then get to enjoy a happy PASP holiday! Full of hope of <i>staying</i> pregnant this time ...

@Hopeful_mom Things are going well, I'm not really participating in any of the BMB or PAIF.

I'm almost 18wks and I'm hoping I will begin to feel the baby move soon, but nothing yet that feels for certain. Our next ultrasound (anatomy scan) isn't until 21 weeks, so I'm just chilling and enjoying eating all the holiday food

I got a great deal on a BOB stroller off craigslist that cleaned up great; looks brand new! And it's purple! Which is fun, because the new ones are just black. I love it. We're getting a travel system for Christmas too so, it's fun to be thinking about baby gear. I started pulling out baby things I had bought years ago when we first started TTC and it was a fun to rediscover things I had forgotten about.
I can't wait until our anatomy scan because then we can really start thinking about names. I have a girl's name I'm pretty set on, and I'm secretly praying its a girl. A boy would be whole new adventure, as I only grew up with sisters.

@BusinessWife so excited for u hope ur still on track for transfer! And shingles is not a pregnancy side effect even though you're immune system is lower during pregnancy I'm just one of the lucky ones, hoping it'll be over in another couple of weeks!

im with u on waiting to feel movement!! I love that you're purchasing things and actually able to enjoy things that's awesome! This all day nausea has been torture I'm hoping as the days progress it will start to get less and less so I'm not able to really look at much online in terms of baby things right now so I still have some time so I'm not too worried about that.
Are you going to find out the sex at the 20 week scan? Don't they have the answer after your 12 week tests didn't they do the gender test in that bunch? At least that's what I was told anyway.
I did buy a bunch of baby things years ago as well and unfortunately lost them all in the fire so I think I'm just waiting and being cautious.

Today I am 15 weeks yay!!
I had a Really fast dr appt yesterday . I don't know if it was because of the shingles and he wanted to get me out of there or it's just like a fast check to make sure all was OK

He didn't give me a sono but I did see my nugget and hear the heartbeat!! Best sound! He also said I won't really be able to feel movement till abt wk 20.

He also took like 10 vials of blood which I wasn't expecting but he drew my blood and got it on the first try. I was quite impressed as new ppl take like 3pricks or so to get me. So far I'm really liking this dr so that's exciting as I was a stress ball over having to find a new OB!!

Next week I go for my wk 16 tests with the high risk dr. Does anyone remember what these tests are??

And here's a laugh for the day as he was trying to figure out what he needed to tell me since it's week 14, he must've taken a look at me and thought this girl needs a spa day stat and said I could dye my hair

I think the non-invasive testing does check gender, but our insurance only covers that for women over 35. We didn't do the 12 week screenings, it wouldn't change any of our decisions for this baby and we will get all the same information at the 20 week. We are planning to find out the gender and I can't wait! Although we won't be sharing with family; I don't want to get a bunch of pink stuff if it's a girl.
Yay! I'm so happy you're at 15 weeks! I hope your nausea starts to go away soon, 15 weeks was about when mine went away.

I'm old And I'm happy to see my little nugget as much as possible. I feel better going to the high-risk doctor to know that there's another doctor checking things over. I totally hear you on the gender thing, I think for me when OH talks to the baby I rather him know the gender so he can say things that are appropriate

I also think we would need to know the gender earlier because I see picking a name is going to be a battle

I'm hoping you are correct about the nausea, I'm really hoping it stops soon!!

Are you having different cravings now?

I had more cravings in the first trimester, or more accurately, my nausea made everything but a select few foods sound inedible. Now, all I crave are things I can't have, like sushi, sub sandwiches, and wine!
I think choosing a name will be easier once we know the gender too, I don't even want to start the challenge of finding a boy name if we don't have to.
Its good you're getting extra monitoring with your high risk doctor, I hope things continue to go smoothly. Let us know when you find out what you're having!!

It is such a breath of fresh air because after the failure of my first IVF, It became harder for me to be as optimistic as before. Seeing where you are right now, gives me more enthusiasm to move forward.

Thanks for keeping in touch @helloworld9. I had an HCG trigger shot last 12/14 to make sure I ovulate this cycle. I just hope that my body would get back its normal cycle, this abnormal days is chaotic.
